Very peaceful and comfortable nights stay. Really great breakfast selection. Staff at dinner and breakfast were very helpful recommending walks in the area.

Excellent this is the second time we have stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it, food was superb room was excellent also. Ideal for a visit to York.

The hotel was in a lovely village with great food and hospitality, it was a great shame that they had an issue with the boiler at the time of stay but that did not put us off looking to book the hotel again soon and hopefully get a hot shower!!

We stayed here for a couple of nights, and cannot fault either the room (we had a dog friendly room) Bed was comfy, bathroom very modern and clean. I can certainly recommend the full English breakfast, possibly one of the best I've ever had, there are lighter options. We also had dinner here on both nights, again the food was great with good range of choices although in my opinion slightly pricey. Staff at breakfast and dinner were smart, attentive and polite. Apart from the intense heat, which made the room extremely hot but obviously not the property's fault, our stay was enjoyable.
