Rodeway Inn & Suites Austin I-90

Well, the receptionist was very friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel. With health issues, a ground floor room is very important. I will stay there again on my return trip!

A great place if you looking for an inexpensive, clean and comfortable good night's sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Welcomes pets.

Very quiet and clean motel, perfect for anyone traveling with animals!

The motel was a pet friendly motel which is not a problem if the carpet etc. is cleaned to prevent allergic relations. The carpet was not. The motel amenities listed laundry which was not available. The concrete entry plus the step into the room were too high for safe entry by people of all ages.

The room was clean and neat and the motel was at the top of the offramp right in I-90. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

There were bugs and flies in our room.

This place is so sketchy and scary! Spend the same amount of money and to go a Super 8 on the other side of town. They double booked the room I was to stay in so they offered to upgrade me to whirlpool suite. I got in that Suite & clearly maintenance was working on the toilet & whirlpool tub as it was filthy dirty and tools everywhere. I went back to the desk to let her know it was not ready for a guest so they moved me to another king bedroom suit-- very large, lots of space, 3 beds -- but the lock on the door did not work, anyone could walk in any time, doors slamming w/loud voices right outside my door until well after 1:00 AM and no noise cancellation - like the walls are paper thin. You could almost talk to the person the next room through the walls. Two TV's - No Remotes so they don't work. The beds in my final room looked like a maid recently put blankets on it but the pillows were all askew like someone just took a nap in the bed 10 minutes ago. I felt I had to keep getting up every hour through the night to check the parking lot to be sure my vehicle was still there and not stolen. Would not stay here again, although one of the Nicer Hotels in town should definitely pouch the front desk staff people here as they are 5 Star all the way, but this hotel is not.

This is hands down the WORST place I've EVER stayed in my entire life. Our family of 3 was in town for a mtn bike race. Do NOT stay here under any circumstances!!! The woman who works there was drunk or high, she insulted every person checking in saying (she was also completely missing for a long time, and the only employee there). The bed smelled like pee. It's FILTHY. We didn't have enough towels. I asked for an extra blanket and was told no. An elderly couple tried to check in late at night (they had a reservation) and she called the police on them (saying they were aggressive, which was untrue). I can't believe this place would still employ her and stay in business. Not a single aspect of the stay/interactions here was easy, pleasant, or remotely professional. Hotels.com shouldn't have a partnership with this place. Beyond terrible.

Rooms were nice but needs to clean. No towels in the rooms. Rooms smells bad and the bedding are not clean. We could've over looked these since we were spending only one night. Front Desk lady was drinking Jack Daniel in thr lobby with a gentleman. She was really disrespect and cursed out a gentleman who is checking. The gentleman left the establishment. She assigned one room n make the key for another room. She kept on speaking to me in spanish. She assumed I was spanish.She also stated that she is scared of us because there are a lot of people. I informed her that was a softball team n we we're there for a tournament. We throws my credit back to me after I asked for a extra room. We rented 4 rooms total for our team.... Shame cuz the room were decent enough to accommodate us. Management needs be aware she was drinking on the job... Maybe she's the owner not sure.... I will never stay there in the future......

Does the health department shut down hotels? This place is a health hazard. It smells like flooded moldy trash. There was a burn hole through our comforter. There were wet sheets on the bed, and no mattress pad. The shower handle almost fell off when we tried to turn on the shower. There was a disgusting stained chair in the room. I tried to get a refund when we saw the room but was refused. I’ve never seen anything this disgusting ever.

The tenant lady who checked us in was clearly heavy intoxicated. The room was never cleaned maybe new sheets but food crumbs everywhere and toilet seat was filthy with dried urine and shower never cleaned. White towels possible clean but heavily stained. Thankfully no bed bugs or roaches i could see. I will never be staying here again

We had a long day of driving and wanted to stop for the night. We decided to stay at Rodeway and it was a good experience. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it provided us with a good night's sleep! I would recommend this hotel for travellers.

I feel really bad about leaving a bad review because the people in the office were very nice and friendly. But in all honesty, I have to say our room was not clean, smelled bad and we felt somewhat unsafe.

Property was clean and maintained. Older property and run by a private individual. Loved the hospitality, room wasn’t dirty: clean bedding, towels, bathroom. Had its quirks due to its age. Loved being able to pull up to my room and enter right from the lot and not needing to go through a lobby or hallway. Amenities and furniture were on point.

We had a quick trip planned to Austin, and found ourselves scrambling for a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. We wound up here and we'll be back. While it is certainly not fancy, our room was clean and comfortable, we had great service and it met our needs.

I've stayed had multi-day stays multiple times at this hotel. Vanessa at the front desk is friendly and so accommodating. The room is always clean with all the amenities one would expect at any hotel. TheyI'm so pleased I found this gem of a hotel.

Front desk lady was by far the rudest person we have ever come across. 730 at night and she comes over to our room either drunk or high in front of my kids asking what the hell we are doing because my husband went to wrong room. We were dropping stuff off at our room. She treated us as criminals. Then when we asked her what was the problem she turned around and flicked us off. Next morning asked for management info and she wouldn't give it out she said shes the manager and been there for 14 years. I asked her for a receipt and she asked me why when we paid cash. We checked out like at 630am because she made our experience there the worst.... Very unprofessional.... also the room was dirty, broken ac unit, she gave us a used suave bottle to use for shampoo....

At check-in the desk clerk was shouting at a kid sitting at a table in the lobby- acted threatening. I stood outside the door wondering if I should call police. He came to the door and a switch flipped- acted very helpful. I was extremely uncomfortable, but checked in. Tried to explain he was upset about an employee who is drunk & doesn’t do his job. Later while in my room I heard a lot of shouting and commotion outside. Wondered again if I needed to call police. I had to go to the office for towels- was kept standing for 5 or more minutes while the clerk again harangued the kid at the table- then told me he didn’t wait on me right away b/c he “thought I should hear the explanation since I walked in to the previous incident.” I did not feel safe, and the clerk was completely unprofessional. I had booked for 2 nights but did not stay the second night. I asked about a refund for the second night but the clerk wanted my phone number and other information, but then said I would have to call the actual manager about it. I did not feel safe leaving my information so cut my losses. An absolutely horrible experience.

I stayed one other time. A year ago. It was clean and price was good for one night. I was there with my 2 teenage daughters and husband. Worst front desk lady. Came at my daughters and myself saying she doesnt want no partying there. She is a very very high strung person. Year goes by I came back in hopes she was gone! But nope she was there and rude as all get out. She thought I was someone else and said she was warned by house keeping of me. That my card declined BUT i paid through orbitz. She kept freaking out on me about its 8pm. That she knows about me and my issues and the abuse. I said can i please just get a room. She said i need to walk you to your room. She walked out and saw my truck and said F no. She slammed the door and called police. I called the police as well. They told me she is known to do this. I am so upset by this treatment. She refused a refund. Next day orbitz called and refused once again to refund my money. I never even stayed. First time was iver a year ago. I cant get reinbursed fron orbitz even though i paid the insurance. They need a statement. Which i cant get right now cause austin Pd records are down. This has been the worst. Money stolen and i got the shaft from hotel and mad that orbitz couldnt just rent me a room else where for same price.

I said something about the deadbolt on room not working - a woman identifying herself as "management" YELLED at me about "they know... no one can get in". The clerk at the desk was very nice when I checked in and in fact called me to see when I was to arrive. A woman who identified herself as "MANAGEMENT" was AWFUL & YELLED at me - her attitude and VOLUME was not appropriate for the situation. The room was DIRTY and there was some sort of sticky traps in the room -- VERY dangerous to dogs at a dog friendly motel. There were very few cars so apparently no one else stays there.
