This hotel beat all our expectations. Localist a little set back from the harbour up a steep hill but the view was amazing. Getting about was really easy. We used the local bus services for getting up and down the hill which was about £1.20 each per trip but taxi or Uber were available. It was possible to walk into town (about 20 minutes) if you are fit enough. The breakfast buffet was amazing, not only for the food available but there was a pianist playing most days creating a very nice ambiance. There was also a Harris Hawk and handler employed to keep the pigeons away. We have travelled all over and breakfast here was 10/10. Our room was extremely comfortable, roomy and well serviced. Pools and hot tub were great (unheated but lovely in September). All staff encountered were lovely and very helpful with advice about tours etc. All things considered a great hotel.
