Bedding was clean and fresh. Floor seemed clean. Shower floor grout had stains. Things seemed a little run down. We were exited about the hot tub and specifically asked about the hours of the pool & hot tub upon checking in. The attendant didn’t tell us the hot tub was not operational. We discovered it had cold water and no jets after changing clothes and making our way down to the pool area. We called several times. The attendant finally answered to say it was broken. This was one of the main reasons we booked here.

The property has construction going on. The water was cold/lukewarm. We had to go down stairs to get towels after requesting them several times. The toilet leaked and the room had an order; dirty carpet. I was there for a conference. They ran out of food twice for the event. The food was not good at all. Will not stay at this hotel again.

To start with, there’s no guest parking unless you pay a mandatory $28 per day fee. As I parked in the front of the hotel in an area that appeared to belong to the hotel, saw the attendant who acknowledged me and I went to my room, no call and the hotel requested my car be towed $378.00 later got the car back. No room service was provided during the duration of my stay. The overall experience as I said was very poor and for the fees charged unacceptable.

My entry into my hotel room I noticed that there was stains and burn wax left on the tv stand. I have noticed the bed appears broken, mirror has glue residue, iron board was completely broken, the coffee maker has coffee powder inside the machine and the shower gel inside the shower was completely empty. I went down to speak with the hotel staff at the desk and he just told me ok. He didn't try and accommodate me with the hotel issue. the next following morning I spoke with a separate hotel front desk staff and advised her of my issues with the room. she informed me due to me booking with Expedia I wasn't able to get any refund or they wasn't able to help me out with the issues. later towards that evening she did try and relocate me to a separate room but due to me leaving in a few hours checking out I told me that's not good if I leave in a few hours. I was only given a sorry.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Jackson. Just two hours after checking into our room, my husband and I were appalled to discover stains on the bed linens, including the pillowcases. Additionally, we found pubic hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower, as well as a noticeable ring around the toilet. These issues clearly suggest that the room had not been adequately cleaned and prepared for the next guest. Each guest is charged a cleaning service fee, so there’s no excuse for the room to be in the condition it was. Upon making the decision to gather our belongings and proceed to the reception desk for an early checkout, I voiced my concerns to the employee, Will. He displayed no concern whatsoever, offering neither an apology nor a resolution to the issue at hand. Instead, I was informed that I would need to reach out to the manager on Monday when he returns. Shortly after, I received an email indicating that my reservation had been canceled, and I might incur a late cancellation fee. It is important to note that we had already checked in and subsequently checked out. This situation is entirely unacceptable.

Beautiful hotel, but several issues to note: 1) the front desk wasn't very helpful on a very basic need: a forgotten toothbrush. No complimentary toothbrush (fine), but also no option in the hotel sundry shop, and unclear where we might go nearby to get one; 2) AC in the room was lowered, but the room temp never went below 75, a bit warm for my taste; and 3) the shower was mildewed and the shower door would not close (a 2" gap), resulting in extensive water on the floor, using up all extra towels to contain. These are all fixable issues, and unexpected at a Hilton.

This historic building is beautifully restored but service is slow to non-existent. The blinds in my suite did not work. I reported this upon arrival and was promised maintenance would come up. I went to the front desk late in th even to remind the manager, Maintenance Man was standing at the desk eating pizza but promised to come up later. He didn't. The next day, I was told he had been up and said he couldn't fix the blinds. This was a problem because the blinds in the bedroom and dressing area were completely up, letting in full light and causing privacy issues. The living room blinds were affixed in the down position rendering the space overly dark. Manager didn't seem to care. What a shame.

Cleanliness wasn’t an issue , the AC/heat didn’t work , the TV may have worked but you couldn’t watch because it no Signal to be able to watch . And with all the lights/lamps in the room and it was still very dimly lit. YES there were windows , but we had not ac/or heat and the temps dropped to the 20’s- so we kept the blinds pulled down.

The desk was closed when we first arrived. When we did get a room it smelled of marijuana. The staff was nice and allowed a room change. All rooms were supposed to be smoke free. Many lights in the hallway are missing covers. The room was hot and stayed at 76 all night. We could not get it any lower. Now as far as outside the hotel…there are many homeless around. So you’ll have to valet your car for the night. Most restaurants are closed on a Sunday, which is when we came through. Bad timing.

The hotel seems as if it’s on its last leg. No spirits at the bar. (Bartenders were really sweet) and we got locked out of our room SEVERAL times. When we would go out and come back in, our key would not be working. This happened 4 times!!! They kept re keying our room. Then to make matters worse, the last time it happened, I went to. The room and back 3 times. Each time I had to go back down and let her know it didn’t work! Finally, she said she would have to change our room. But ma’am, our stuff is stuck in the old room. Basically they had to get security after an hour to let us in the old room casing us to miss our anniversary dinner reservation. I was so disappointed. No one knew what to do. I was very upset and feel like we were highly inconvenienced to have to change rooms. I feel like I should be refunded! I will not stay here again.

The hotel had only ONE person managing the front desk. The machine the creates the electronic card keys was NOT working, so, every time we needed to enter our room, the front desk person had to leave the front desk lobby and escort us to our room. Pitiful and dangerous. I expect more from a Hilton. Also, the room had dings and scrapes and obviously was not well maintained. Not happy experience.

I stayed one night. My a/c went out in my room sometime overnight or in the early morning hours which caused me to wake early because I was so hot. The shower door needed servicing, it was very difficult/almost impossible to open and close. The body wash container in the shower was almost empty – I barely had enough to wash. And there was no hair conditioner provided. I tried calling down to the front desk and no one picked up. When I checked out, I calmly explained everything that happened to the front desk associate who stated she would like to give me a refund, however, since I booked through hotels.com I would need to contact them to request the refund. She was very kind and helpful and even gave me her name to tell hotels.com. However, when hotels.com reached out to the hotel to see if they would issue a refund, they refused.

Staff was nice. Room was Spacious. We arrived later in the day and left early in the morning, so we didn’t get to experience much of the surrounding area, but from what little we did see, it seemed to be right in the heart of dowtown.

This is a very nice hotel on the edge of downtown in an area that is struggling economically. It's walking distance to the capital and several civil rights attractions, including an old Greyhound bus station, which is nice.

Hotel is decent and beds were comfy. Bar in hotel is very expensive ($8 for a beer). You also get charged an extra $28 for valet parking that you have to do per night. This hotel is in a not so nice part of Jackson. We did enjoy the Iron Horse Grill around the corner. Greta food, drinks and music.

I like the historic building (the old King Edward Hotel). Breakfasts were GREAT, there was a nice selection of beers in the hotel bar, and the valet service was very efficient and friendly.

The room was in terrible shape for a Hilton property. No bed skirt, bathroom supplies were not restocked or refilled, walls need repainting, grease finger prints on all of the wood and surfaces and window. Room was put together as an afterthought. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The rooms are horrible conditions. The breakfast terrible and low budget.

check in was great! downhill from there though. Broken floor tiles, Caesar salad had literally no Caesar dressing but Ranch was available. What? Why call it a Caesar salad? Breakfast was pre-paid but a bill still came, and you better not be in any kind of hurry. Pancakes arrived literally after we had finished out entire meal. We had just said to forget them when they arrived. Did they need to mill the wheat? It was tasty but slooooow to arrive at the table. And breakfast till 10? Nope, coffee urns removed at 9:40 and we were told there was no more coffee for us. Well okay

Hotel could use some updating. Waited a long time to get our bill for the breakfast. Front desk was nice. Not a lot of options near the hotel for food. Valet wasn’t clear on when it would turn to another day and you’d get charged
