Great hotel. Only complaint is the bar downstairs was never open during my stay. There was a rooftop bar but it was extremely busy and hard to just go up there for a drink. At one point both bars were closed at the same time from 9-11pm on a Saturday night.

Great stay, very accommodating staff for us traveling as a family with an infant. Only negative is that driving there is a bit difficult because you have to go through a pedestrian only zone to get to the hotel to load/unload luggage. It caused some confusion for valet but once located was easy for walking and getting to and from everything in the city.

Exceptional hotel, with large well appointed rooms. Hotel staff were very pleasant and always happy to help. We enjoyed the breakfast area, roof top bar and offerings. Very walkable and super convenient location. Love our stay, exceeded our every expectation!

Best location for a hotel, excelent breakfast , nice staff on the reception , room service could be better . Parking lot far away from the hotel , but The Vallet was very efficient . Restaurant could be better . Soup, Meat and past could be better .

Great and super nice boutique hotel. Great food and room service but prices are even for room service extremely expensive and portions small. Unfortunately they also forgot to clean my room which they however did after reminding them. Hotel bed was super hard but that’s individual preference I think. Besides these point a great hotel to stay and spot clean.

We stayed at Louis Hotel 4 nights while visiting the Christmas market in Marienplatz. The hotel has a great location with one entrance right into the Viktualienmarkt and the other entrance just a couple of blocks from Marienplatz. The room was very comfortable with nice linens. Our room did not have much of a view as it faced a small alley. I'm not sure, but it looks like other rooms would face the Viktualienmarkt. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the bar area with fireplace. It was great to enjoy a drink by the fire on a cold night.

This place is perfect for being close to a lot of markets including fruits, veg’s, nuts, flowers, coffee bars. The hotel needs a spa! It has a small gym for 2-3 people max, but in fall & winter time, needs a jacuzzi!!!

MARVELOUS! A “MUST” if you’re in Munich and want to be near city centrum. Through one door you’re already at Viktualienmarkt and through the other, a few steps to Marienplatz and surroundings. The hotel is elegant and its rooms (at least mine) was big, comfy and with all necessary appliances, very uncommon in European hotels. I had direct view to Viktualienmarkt and, if I opened the door/window, I listened at the churches bells’ tolling. Has a nice bar and excellent restaurant service. Absolutely LOVED IT.

The hotel was great – cozy and mid-sized, with a really welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and even helping with our bags. Room service was quick, and the rooms were spotless – even the bathrooms were very clean. The rooms were also bigger than they looked online, which was a nice surprise. The only thing that felt a little off was the bathroom setup – the toilet and main bathroom were in separate areas with a hallway and door in between, which wasn’t the most convenient. Not sure if that’s normal for the area, but it stood out. Other than that, the location was perfect, right in front of the Christmas markets and in a safe part of town. I’d definitely stay here again!

Location is very central, although can be difficult to access at times because of local restaurants and crowds. Layout of the room wasn't ideal (e.g., bathroom door obstructed main door and was very difficult to open), and there wasn't much counter space in the bathroom sink. Staff was pretty friendly and the breakfast was pretty good as well.

Zi 210 direkt über der Küche. Bis spät in die Nacht hörte man extrem viel Lärm aus der Küche. Ausserdem direkt neben dem Fenster an der Aussenfassade ein Scheinwerfer. Dementsprechend fast taghell im Zimmer. Die Nachtvorhänge bringen da leider auch nicht viel. Personal am Front Office zu wenig aufmerksam (keine Hoteleinführung, kein Welcome Drink, mit Telefonieren beschäftigt, zur Anreisezeit „unterbesetzt“,…) für den gehobenen Standard.

Everything was terrific. The staff was so helpful and patient. The only feed back I have is that the room lighting is horrible. The bathroom and rooms are so dimly lit you feel like you are in a cave. The lighted makeup mirror is so high on the wall my mom couldn’t see herself in it.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut mitten in der Stadt. Preiseleistung im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels der selben ist Kategorie ist wesentlich schlechter. Service ist nicht wirklich auf dem Niveau das man erwartet, wenn man den Preis bezahlt, den das Hotel verlangt.

This was our 12th and sadly last stay at the hotel! It used to be great, now torn curtains and worn out rugs in the room, had to beg for refills for the coffee machine, asked repeatedly to leave the AC on and repeatedly came back to a hot room with the AC turned off by the same department that failed to refill the coffee or fridge as was prior usual, the staff turnover is also extremely high as we only recognized one person from our prior 12 visits. We even left notes to leave the AC on that went ignored, see photo. Price is not our main decision factor but for the payout can stay almost anywhere in Munich and most for less money. Bayerische Hof will get our business next time! There used to be a great manager Herr Fuchs, did not ask but are guessing he is no longer at the location.

Our 2nd floor market-view room was large and well-appointed, with an unobstructed view of the market. We enjoyed being able to open the balcony glass doors whenever we were in the room. The market closes in the evenings and our room was quiet at night. We loved the soft pillows and duvets and enjoyed our sleep. Our morning breakfasts in the dining room were a fantastic start to each day! The staff were very kind and attentive, and we had a great selection of coffee drinks, juices, breads, and assorted breakfast menu items to select from each day - all were well-prepared. Our check-in and check-out at the reception desk were seamless, and we especially appreciated the attention in getting us cab service and a boxed breakfast to go on the day we departed. We loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
