Friendly Staff in a convenient location. Within walking distance to Tim Hortons, Needs and Dollarama. Toliet did not flush. Had to open to tank and flush it manually. Bathroom door was too big for its frame. Had to slam the door closed or got stuck in the hinges. Cozy little room for a good price to lay your head at night. May want to update to todays design. Room has the 80s look. Grounds were spotless. Would come back again

The cottages, which we were put in first were disgusting. They were creepy to stay in. There was mould and dirt . The screens were torn . The handle on the door was ready to fall off. I told the owner that We just could not stay there. He moved us to another room up front which was much better. There was no breakfast included and no laundry facilities at all. I would not recommend this motel to stay in

Quick check in and polite. Surprised to have to pay $10 cash for early arrival as room was already empty. Decent room and bathroom which was appreciated. Parking directly outside of door. Location great for access to local amenities

Everything about our experience here was great. The room was clean, front desk people were friendly. The room was like having your own little 2 bedroom apartment, with a kitchen and living room. Will definitely look into staying her again when ever we come to a show at the Decoste Centre.

My bed was clean other than that. Everything else was dirty. The shower curtain was disgusting. The kitchen was filthy. It needed to be scrubbed down from top to bottom.. I guess the old thing goes you get what you pay for

This is an excellent budget hotel. We were surprised to find a kitchenette and used it. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. It also had a new heat pump ac.

This was a quiet motel that served its purpose for me (rest stop between destinations). Nothing outstanding. Room had an older TV, desk, chairs, mini-fridge, and coffee machine. Bedding, towels, bathroom and other surfaces were clean, and staff was friendly enough. Heat was a bit confusing at first, but worked well once I got it going. Bed was a little bouncy for my liking, but I was able to get a good night’s sleep, shower, and be on my way. Sobeys and Subway around the corner was convenient. I would stay here again if I needed a low-key place to crash for the night.

I booked this last minute for one night stay. It was only $99 per night so my expectations were not high. We stayed in room 18 which was clean, comfy beds with lots of pillows, clean sheets and towels, a small kitchenette, and AC. Everything was in working order. The room itself was small, ,shabby in need a paint job with dated decor. However for $99 it was fine for us. It was close to shopping and restaurants and it was 43 C with the humidity that day and the AC worked great.

The motel charged us $10 per child, per night, just keep this in mind when booking!!!! The rooms are poorly taken care of, mold in the bathroom, even the bathroom toilet seat is peeling. The pillows are as flat as pancakes. The staff argued with us that we brought a dog to our room, but we had only brought blankets from home and we have 3 dogs in our household. There were dead squirrels in the front green space of the hotel, which is the only “hang out” space around. The staff were rude and ignorant when asking for extra towels (they only gave us 1 towel even though they knew 4 people would be in the room). Rude again when asked for extra bedding for a fold out couch. There is no soap/shampoo/conditioner or even a box of Kleenex provided in the rooms, just as a heads up to future renters!

Great location and good price. It's right near big Sobeys store for groceries etc and MacDonalds - both I think open until 9pm. MacDonalds opens at 6am - great if catcing the 7am ferry to PEI. The parking lot coming in is a bit chaotic and our room was a bit run down. It can also be a bit noisy with main roundabouts at doorstop and hectic comings and goings. But absolutely great for anyone on road trip - and the Caribou to Wood Island (NS > PEI) car ferry.

Poorly renovated with tears in wallpaper, dusty coffee machine, dirty fridge, sofa old and sagging. Pictures of rooms were not representative. Some updating in washroom - newer tub surround and basin which was nice.

Adequate rooms for the price, tho a bit dated. Bathroom/shower were new. Staff was excellent, attentive to our requests. Air Con was EXCELLENT! Great location, as can easily walk to beautiful downtown Pictou! :)

In need of a 'refresh' as a lot of stuff is a bit old, but can't really complain for the price paid ($104 + tax CDN). Woke to no wifi or tv which was apparently caused by an area outage, so not the property's fault. On the plus side; had a kitchenette w/dishes, utensils, etc & a Keurig coffee maker w/decent coffee.

Great affordable room, very friendly staff. My only wish is that I needed a plug in for my hair dryer next to a mirror! Bathroom one wouldn’t work, and the only other one I found was in the kitchenette. One other small disappointment, I could get th3 coffee machine to work properly, got lukewarm coffee. Would indeed stay there again.

Great location and good price. It's right near big Sobeys store for groceries etc and MacDonalds - both I think open until 9pm. MacDonalds opens at 6am - great if catcing the 7am ferry to PEI.
