My expectation was high when I booked the hotel due to the picture of the swimming pool. The location was excellent and close to the subway station. Check-in was smooth and fast. Got a nice upgrade to a junior suite. The stay of the first few days was excellent except the very last day when I went to the swimming pool which is a non-smoking area but there were people smoking lying on the chair. However, no hotel staff enforces the rules. Also, the men's change room to enter the pool's area was not maintained well. I will stay in this hotel again but not using the swimming pool.

Rooms were very outdated. Booked a club room and it was no better than a standard room. Was on a non-smoking floor but rooms and corridors still smelt like stale smoke. Air-con is in the rooms but doesn't seem to change the temperature, we found the entire hotel to be extremely hot. Lots of the cardio machines in the gym were out of use during our visit and the gym was unbearably hot (even at 5am).

The main attraction was the outdoor pool and on arrival found out the pool would be closed the following day so very disappointed and the Chinese to English translation had the wrong dates so confusing. After establishing the pool Wouk be closed the hotel did offer a room upgrade which was appreciated. Very nice stay. Staff corrected the translation.

The overall performance of this hotel is above average for my opinion. As world known 5 star luxury hotel I would expect they can do a lot better. 1. Didn’t get the room type as pre-requested. 2. The bed sheet is broken with hole and dirt marks on. 3. The bathtub didn’t work. 4. The water pressure is weak. 5. The air conditioning is weak.

Javin Yu checked me in as usual. I’m staying at this property about 15-30 nights a year. She is always delightful. I look forward to staying at this property more than any other hotel at which I stay. The front desk staff, the wait staff in the restaurant are always exceptional.

Always awesome. This trip shift manager Lillian was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. In the cafe Miu is always extremely friendly and helpful. Of course at front desk, night manager Javin is the best in the business. She always anticipates my needs and never falls short. Ever

As always, my stay at Intercontinental Foshan was incredibly pleasant. Thanks to Javin at front desk, restaurant waiter Wells, front desk Annie, lobby reception, Lilian, breakfast room, Miu and Mandy. A hotel can be clean, well located, reasonably priced, etc. These are things we expect from a 5* hotel but the people are what makes one hotel stand out from another. The standards followed by the people at this property are unparalleled elsewhere.

Javin at the front desk was absolutely awesome. I love this hotel and the service from EVERYONE is awesome! Looking forward to my next stay. I’ll stay at this property 30 nights this year. I’m calling the Intercontinental FOSHAN MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HOTEL and Javin my absolute favorite!

I was so pleasantly surprised to find my favorite front desk clerk (Javin) waiting to serve me at check-in. She is always the highlight of my visits to Foshan Intercontinental! As always (when she is able) she upgraded me to a superb room. Javin always makes my stays here just a little more pleasant! The hotel the entire staff are world class. Take it from someone who knows. I’ll take 5 international trips this year but the intercontinental Foshan is always consistently number one for me in service, food service and atmosphere. The dining staff and restaurants are also consistently number one. The know my preferences and go absolutely out of their way to ensure all my needs are met. This property excels in every way. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

숙소는 대단히 좋은 시설입니다. 다만 다소 1월의 추운날임에도, 히터로 선정하고30도를 설정했는데도 찬바람만 나왔어요. 나중엔 껏답니다. 3층중식당9시오픈에 맞춰 딤섬세트 식사주문했는데 요리나오는시간이 길고, 일부는 냉동을 해동한건지 질감이 좋지않았네요.
