This place was amazing, a hidden gem, and we wish we would’ve stayed more nights. We only stayed two, and had we known how great it was going to be we would’ve come sooner. It was in a quiet little neighborhood, very peaceful, the grounds are very beautiful. Svenja & Olaf were very nice and helpful and very clear with instructions for self check in since we were getting in late. The breakfast was wonderful the next morning, he cooked eggs and bacon the order, and they had many other options to choose from. Our room was very spacious and clean, we had a door that walked out to the patio. And while the patio was open to any one staying there, we ended up having it to ourselves most of the time. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in the area, and if we are ever here again, we will definitely try to get a room if it’s available.

Zeer vriendelijke en nette ontvangst met een gepersonaliseerde brief op naam met uitleg en code voor o.a. de poort. Ook een kopje koffie is inbegrepen wanneer je later op de avond terugkomt. Mooie omgeving en prachtige locatie.

Hotel très calme dans un grand parc. Petit déjeuné correct et ambiance cosy. Attention, le restaurant n'est pas ouvert tous les jours et il faut une voiture pour aller diner.

B&B Baron’s House Neerijse - Leuven – this eight room hidden gem bed and breakfast is in a perfect tucked away location less than 10 miles from Leuven and 15 miles from Brussels. The property is beautiful with enough parking nestle in-between hedges. Though our stay was just for 2 nights, and arrived after hours, Olaf had communicated and provided instructions for us to check in without any hassles. Olaf was welcoming and helpful and he was there in the morning to prepare breakfast eggs made to order to go along with the spread of meats, cheeses, croissants, breads and jams.

This place is very special, it is in a great location and very close to nature. Whilst walking in the nature reserve it is very easy to get completely away from modern day life. The accommodation is very comfortable and secure with a good breakfast. This is our second visit and will not be our last.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baron's and would return again. Baron's is hidden away off the main road but easy enough to find with a Sat Nav and is well sign-posted. We arrived after hours and had messaged ahead of time to get instructions for access and received a very quick response with helpful instructions. The property is beautiful and parking is very easy. Our room was clean, tidy and each day it was re-made and re-organised. Our interaction with staff was mainly with Olaf who made us breakfast most mornings for our stay except the last day - Breakfast was excellent with a good range of hot and cold options. Olaf was very friendly, helpful and made breakfast a time of the day to enjo - We never felt awkward and he made things very easy for us. Olaf and all the other staff spoke english to an excellent standard which eliminated any potential language barriers. Baron's is a premium place to stay and the facilities are up to this standard. The staff go above and beyond for guests - When we checked out, we did not want to leave. We loved staying here and would recommend to others.

This is a great place - highly recommend and we would be more than happy to return. We called ahead as our ferry was delayed so we knew we would arrive late - the owner couldn't have been more helpful - keys were left out for us and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived just before midnight. The room was perfect - very nicely decorated, beautiful furnishings and bedding and great touches in the room including the mini bar, shower gels etc in the bathroom and thoughtful positioning of light, switches and plug sockets. The breakfast was great too - good range of options and good service. Its ideally located for Brussels airport and a midpoint for us between the ferry and our next destination. We will be back if we are travelling in the area again as we prefer small independent places with character to bland soulless chain hotels

Spontaan een nachtje weg en dan kom je deze parel tegen! Overnachten in dit rijksmonument was een feestje, heerlijke super nette kamer en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Rustig gelegen aan de rand van een natuurgebied. Een aanrader!

All our normal hotels in Leuven were full. This was thus a fall back choice, but sometimes you get lucky. It is the opposite of mass tourism--7 rooms in the 1710 coach house of Kasteel Neerijse, about 15 minutes by car from the center of Leuven. A more beautiful, bucolic setting, is hard to imagine, and we got lucky again. May 30-31 were brilliantly sunny. The modern rooms were bright and cheerful, and the bathroom functional although separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Breakfast was fine. For dinner, you either go to Leuven, or we went to a brasserie on a beautiful lake in Zoete Water. No city on these days! The place is managed by a young couple who are friendly and engaging. In short, a travel experience that is different from the take a number and wait your turn mass experience. Whew!

Stayed at this property several times over the last 10 years. It was always special and a bit of a gem. So I was surprised to see it looking so unloved and tired this time. There has been a recent change of staff which is a shame as Olaf and partner were lovely. Never mind I suppose all good things come to an end.I still have fond memories but don’t feel that I could recommend at the moment.

It was peaceful, clean, and had great linens, comfortable beds, good breakfasts and Rituals cosmetic products. The property needs some updating like new pillows, towels, rugs, and chairs. These items were quite worn looking. A quick fix would make this a 5 star rating.

De ligging van de B&B is prima als je Brussel en omgeving wilt bezoeken of als je op doorreis bent. Wij hadden de grotere kamer voor 2 personen comfort kamer nr 8 geboekt. Bij binnenkomst hing er een bedompte put/ grond lucht die verminderde doordat we alles open hadden gezet. De ventilator die de lucht moest maskeren mocht alleen overdag aan maar s avonds uit. Het beddengoed had de lucht geabsorbeerd van de putlucht die in de kamer hing. We hebben de eigenaar op de hoogte gebracht en hij gaf aan dat spijtig te vinden en bij de schoonmaak van de kamer het beddengoed zou verwisselen. Bij terugkomst op de kamer konden we eerst weer luchten. Het beddengoed rook nog steeds niet fris. We hebben de ventilator aan gelaten die eigenlijk uit moest want anders was het niet te doen. Op de site ziet alles er netjes en gemoedelijk uit maar dat is voor kamer 8 is dat schijn. De muren naar de wc toe zijn donker van de vocht uitgelagen, spinnen en slakken in de kamer geeft geen prettig gevoel. Wij hebben wel vaker in B&B 's geslapen maar deze heeft nog echt heel wat te verbeteren.

The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. If we had not stayed in the attic room I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Prachtige en verzorgde kamer. Mooie grote badkamer met slechts 1 minpuntje. Er zit een prachtig bad in maar douchen is lastig omdat er geen mogelijkheid is de douchekop hoog op te hangen.

Although a little remote, the Barons was quite lovely. Very quiet and for us commutable to Leuven. Comfy clean beds and a nice en suite. Self service breakfast was continental in style but sufficient. The grounds of the Barons and woodland next door was lovely. The cafe up the road nice and De Kroon is a must do.

Our room was very spacious and clean, we had a door that walked out to the patio. And while the patio was open to any one staying there, we ended up having it to ourselves most of the time. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in the area, and if we are ever here again, we will definitely try to get a room if it’s available.

Ci si aspettava di più, le immagini se pur veritiere lasciavano pensare ad una sistemazione più di alto livello, si pensa forse alla villa padronale (ma non era in effetti specificato) , la stanza però, ad esempio, aveva l’ingresso diretto sulla sala della colazione situata nella dependance e la doccia era in realtà posizionata nella vasca da bagno con la tenda. Detto questo ci siamo trovati benino e il personale incontrato si è dimostrato premuroso.

Er was aangegeven dat er airco zou zijn, maar deze was er dus niet. Dan is het niet aangenaam bij hogere temperaturen, waarbij een ventilatortje te weinig verkoeling brengt. Het douchen in het verdiepte bad zonder spatscherm is voor senioren ongeschikt. Personeel is top en zeer bereidwillig. Prima ontbijt.

De ligging van de B&B is prima als je Brussel en omgeving wilt bezoeken of als je op doorreis bent. Wij hadden de grotere kamer voor 2 personen comfort kamer nr 8 geboekt. Bij binnenkomst hing er een bedompte put/ grond lucht die verminderde doordat we alles open hadden gezet. De ventilator die de lucht moest maskeren mocht alleen overdag aan maar s avonds uit. Het beddengoed had de lucht geabsorbeerd van de putlucht die in de kamer hing. We hebben de eigenaar op de hoogte gebracht en hij gaf aan dat spijtig te vinden en bij de schoonmaak van de kamer het beddengoed zou verwisselen. Bij terugkomst op de kamer konden we eerst weer luchten. Het beddengoed rook nog steeds niet fris. We hebben de ventilator aan gelaten die eigenlijk uit moest want anders was het niet te doen. Op de site ziet alles er netjes en gemoedelijk uit maar dat is voor kamer 8 is dat schijn. De muren naar de wc toe zijn donker van de vocht uitgelagen, spinnen en slakken in de kamer geeft geen prettig gevoel. Wij hebben wel vaker in B&B 's geslapen maar deze heeft nog echt heel wat te verbeteren.

The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. If we had not stayed in the attic room I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Das Frühstück wird für jeden Gast persönlich zubereitet. Um Ruhe und Erholung zu finden aber trotzdem auch Sightseeing nicht ganz zu vernachlässigen, ist diese Unterkunft hervorragend geeignet.

B&B Baron’s House Neerijse - Leuven – this eight room hidden gem bed and breakfast is in a perfect tucked away location less than 10 miles from Leuven and 15 miles from Brussels. The property is beautiful with enough parking nestle in-between hedges. Though our stay was just for 2 nights, and arrived after hours, Olaf had communicated and provided instructions for us to check in without any hassles. Olaf was welcoming and helpful and he was there in the morning to prepare breakfast eggs made to order to go along with the spread of meats, cheeses, croissants, breads and jams.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baron's and would return again. Baron's is hidden away off the main road but easy enough to find with a Sat Nav and is well sign-posted. We arrived after hours and had messaged ahead of time to get instructions for access and received a very quick response with helpful instructions. The property is beautiful and parking is very easy. Our room was clean, tidy and each day it was re-made and re-organised. Our interaction with staff was mainly with Olaf who made us breakfast most mornings for our stay except the last day - Breakfast was excellent with a good range of hot and cold options. Olaf was very friendly, helpful and made breakfast a time of the day to enjo - We never felt awkward and he made things very easy for us. Olaf and all the other staff spoke english to an excellent standard which eliminated any potential language barriers. Baron's is a premium place to stay and the facilities are up to this standard. The staff go above and beyond for guests - When we checked out, we did not want to leave. We loved staying here and would recommend to others.

This is a great place - highly recommend and we would be more than happy to return. We called ahead as our ferry was delayed so we knew we would arrive late - the owner couldn't have been more helpful - keys were left out for us and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived just before midnight. The room was perfect - very nicely decorated, beautiful furnishings and bedding and great touches in the room including the mini bar, shower gels etc in the bathroom and thoughtful positioning of light, switches and plug sockets. The breakfast was great too - good range of options and good service. Its ideally located for Brussels airport and a midpoint for us between the ferry and our next destination. We will be back if we are travelling in the area again as we prefer small independent places with character to bland soulless chain hotels

On the last day of our 2 week European trip we had booked what we thought was an Air BNB. What it turned out to be was an apartment in a sketchy part of Brussels. Not expecting to find much at 4 in the afternoon I found this place called Baron's House. As we drove down a remote Road just outside of the city I was starting to question my choice. Until we went through the gate, what an amazing place, I only wish we would have stayed there more than the one night. Thanks.

This place is very special, it is in a great location and very close to nature. Whilst walking in the nature reserve it is very easy to get completely away from modern day life. The accommodation is very comfortable and secure with a good breakfast. This is our second visit and will not be our last.

Although a little remote, the Barons was quite lovely. Very quiet and for us commutable to Leuven. Comfy clean beds and a nice en suite. Self service breakfast was continental in style but sufficient. The grounds of the Barons and woodland next door was lovely. The cafe up the road nice and De Kroon is a must do.

This place was amazing, a hidden gem, and we wish we would’ve stayed more nights. We only stayed two, and had we known how great it was going to be we would’ve come sooner. It was in a quiet little neighborhood, very peaceful, the grounds are very beautiful. Svenja & Olaf were very nice and helpful and very clear with instructions for self check in since we were getting in late. The breakfast was wonderful the next morning, he cooked eggs and bacon the order, and they had many other options to choose from. Our room was clean, tidy and each day it was re-made and re-organised. Our interaction with staff was mainly with Olaf who made us breakfast most mornings for our stay except the last day - Breakfast was excellent with a good range of hot and cold options. Olaf was very friendly, helpful and made breakfast a time of the day to enjo - We never felt awkward and he made things very easy for us. Olaf and all the other staff spoke english to an excellent standard which eliminated any potential language barriers. Baron's is a premium place to stay and the facilities are up to this standard. The staff go above and beyond for guests - When we checked out, we did not want to leave. We loved staying here and would recommend to others.
We absolutely loved our stay at Baron's and would return again. Baron's is hidden away off the main road but easy enough to find with a Sat Nav and is well sign-posted. We arrived after hours and had messaged ahead of time to get instructions for access and received a very quick response with helpful instructions. The property is beautiful and parking is very easy. This is a great place - highly recommend and we would be more than happy to return. We called ahead as our ferry was delayed so we knew we would arrive late - the owner couldn't have been more helpful - keys were left out for us and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived just before midnight. The room was perfect - very nicely decorated, beautiful furnishings and bedding and great touches in the room including the mini bar, shower gels etc in the bathroom and thoughtful positioning of light, switches and plug sockets. The breakfast was great too - good range of options and good service. Its ideally located for Brussels airport and a midpoint for us between the ferry and our next destination. We will be back if we are travelling in the area again as we prefer small independent places with character to bland soulless chain hotels

Wat een fijne locatie. Rust en sfeer van het erfgoed. Aan niets ontbrak bij het ontbijt. Vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar en medewerkers waarderen we enorm! 2 nachten zijn helaas zo om maar we hebben genoten!

Apart from the location and breakfast, the hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Our room was on the ground floor next to breakfast area which meant that people were just behind our curtains and we could hear the morning hassle. Our room had worn out/broken sheets, towels and curtains. Showers curtain line had snapped which meant that there was no cover at all. The room was unclean from floors that werent vacuumed properly to spider webs every corner. What we later found out was that the hotel property is on sale and service from last feedbacks had dropped significantly.

On the last day of our 2 week European trip we had booked what we thought was an Air BNB. What it turned out to be was an apartment in a sketchy part of Brussels. Not expecting to find much at 4 in the afternoon I found this place called Baron's House. As we drove down a remote Road just outside of the city I was starting to question my choice. Until we went through the gate, what an amazing place, I only wish we would have stayed there more than the one night. Thanks.

Service problems. Staff forget my breakfast. Didn't get any help on transport ie they didn't know how i was to get to a place 5km away. No servicing off bedroom over a six night stay.
