Pullman Brussels Centre Midi

Hôtel pratique pour les voyageurs en train. Salle de fitness peu équipée, sauna en libre service plutôt pratique, restaurant correct, chambre moderne, (très grand lit ok). Les prestations générales sont plus proches d'un 3 étoiles que d'un 4.

Gym needs an update

This hotel is conveniently located just above the Eurostar station or the Brussels Zuid. The hotel itself is great, roomy, and comfortable, but the surrounding area isn't exactly the best neighbourhood in Brussels. There are rough sleepers who stay around the station. They do not bother anyone, but I thought potential travellers needed to know that. They have a small gym on the 3rd floor with a sauna room. The bar is nice, but I wish they had more cocktail choices. Overall, it is a good hotel especially if you travel in and out of town via Eurostar.

The hotel was nice, but little things were in a state of disrepair. It’s not in the nicest area, but it’s extremely convenient, connected to the main rail station as well as the bus + metro stations. The bar closed quite early, but not for lack of customers. There was no ice machine for our drinks we ended up having back in our room. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Warm front desk staff as well as restaurant and bar staff! Great dining and drinking experiences within the hotel. Amazing location for national and international travels right next to district trains to other cities (Gent and Brugge) the Eurostar, as well as venturing into the city even by foot, less than 30 minutes walking to reach the centre. Local market on Sunday's just outside (not anything to make time to see (stall foods and hygiene products). My stay was quiet and unproblematic, every European city has good and bad areas, at night I would advise not going out alone if not street-savvy. The rooms are designed and furnished modern with great views of the city. I booked a twin room and received a double instead which was not ideal, sharing with my friend. We chose not to change it due to only staying for 2 nights/ staying in two different rooms for only 2 days would have caused more hassle. Some areas of the room were also not serviced great, cleaning could be improved, the cups in the bathroom were stained, we had no shower gel and had to request this, a new bottle was just left on the side, and some of the carpet had not been hoovered. Unsure whether this is a fault of the hotel or Expedia but the hotel was advertised as a spa, this was the only reason we booked. Unfortunately there is no spa. The gym is tiny, it would comfortably fit 2-3 people with limited equipment and there is a sauna that would fit 4-5 people comfortably.

Chambre correcte mais finalement assez sonore au dessus des taxis de la gare. La vue est en biais et ne permet pas de voir grand chose du 7ème étage. L'atomium visible au loin est sympathique. Mais finalement, la vue qu'avaient nos enfants de l'autre côté, au 9ème, était mieux (pour un prix de chambre moindre: nous on avait la nespresso en plus, mais pas plus, il nous semble). Le sauna est un petit plus, et peu de clients y vont. Mais il est très chaud (on est pourtant des habitués). Le petit déj est correct, sans plus. Peu de variété, de produits chic. La confiture par exemple est plus riche en sucre qu'en fruits. Il n'y a pas de légumes cuits hormis les champignons (tomates ?). Le pain avec les raisins était bon. Les cuisiniers ont du mal à maintenir les aliments en nombre. De nombreux clients doivent réclamer pour regarnir. Accueil prévenant et checkout également efficace, avec la même personne. Et c'est pratique quand on arrive en train d'être si près, et de pouvoir laisser les valises à la bagagerie.

Great facilities and location at the rail station. Adequate breakfast.

Nice hotel with easy access from Eurostar and good connections to all parts of Brussels. Only thing letting it down was the VERY slow service in the bar!

Great amenities!

The location was 10 out of 10. Right above the Midi Railway station. You can come from anywhere in Europe and walk into the Hotel. Was busy fro uber to pick up or drop off front of hotel as the road was too b busy. The room was very clean and tidy. The sun was awesome! Even though the front desk mentioned sauna was open 24 hours, it is not true.

L’hôtel est juste à côté de la gare ce qui est super pratique pour prendre l’eurostar. Malheureusement la chambre n’était pas très propre avec des traces sur les murs des toilettes. Une salle de bain pas propre non plus ce qui est dommage. Je m’attendais à plus venant d’un pullman 4 étoiles

Unfortunately I received bed bug bites at this hotel. It was a nice hotel and didn't realize I had the bites until I got home from my flight today.

公共交通機関を使っての移動には非常に便利。 6泊したが、毎日床掃除はされていなかつた。 かつ、無料の水の補給、ウォッシュタオル供給も あったりなかったりとサービス提供ルールが一定でなかった。更に、風呂場の水洗の調子が悪く、シャワーに切り替えてもシャワーと浴槽両方に水が流れる状態だった。設備メンテナンスが良く無い。 最終日の早朝の朝食の際、開始時間になっても暫く スタッフ不在で、宿泊客が勝手に食事を始めざるを得なかった。

J’ai fréquenté cet hôtel depuis plusieurs années et malheureusement, j’ai vu lentement la qualité se détériorer. Mais lord ce séjour, j’ai dû demander de changer de chambre car l’insalubrité de la chambre par la présence D’INSECTES m’a littéralement horrifié. C’est mon dernier séjour. Tellement décevant.

Great location, but for a Pullman hotel, expecting high standards, this was very basic and more of a 3*. Rooms were spacious but needdd a renovation, broken toilet door handles, dirty walls and very dirty carpet. It did not meet expectations and would not book again. Breakfast was also very small and lacked variety

Very dirty in the room, got blood stain on the carpet. Expired water provided, requested to have another bottle, waited over half an hour had to call again. Toothpaste was expired and dry. Terrible experience.

I really want a window that opens so I am connected to real air. Not here.

Nice spacious rooms. The room we were in can’t pick up the wifi signal very well even our data signal. The a/c seems not to be working. Very convenient to train and metro station

Room was nice and clean, although TV did not work and the shower part of the bath/shower setup did not work. The TV was fixed and it had Chromecast. Breakfast was nice, buffet style with broad selection. The aircon settings, you could select +/- 3, not seen this before. Area around station can be rough, lots of homeless, outside used as toilet in some areas.

Did not feel like a 4*. Uncomfortable bedding. The bedding had various bumps from different layered sheets that didn’t cover the entire bed surface. Room had various marks and wall panels out of alignment. It felt a bit tired. I found the room uncomfortably hot. There is no air conditioning as indicated. The hotel controls the heating and cooling for all rooms - confirmed by speaking to reception who were unable to allow me to cool my room more as the hotel’s system was in “winter mode”. On the plus side, the room was very quiet.

The location is great if you plan on using the train/Eurostar. Lots of quick options in the station for food and toiletries. Had a great view from the 7th floor. Room was quiet but the a/c did not work very well.

Nice property right at the main train station. But, the room never could get cool (always a warm 74 degrees). Uncomfortable for sleeping.

Staff were wonderful, location was very convenient but midi isn’t the nicest of neighbourhoods. Room was clean & the shower was great. The sound proofing and black out curtains were great. The only real meh was that mattress was quite hard and I was sore in the morning from it.

Lovely room, although right on the railway station I didn’t hear the train noise and had a great night sleep. The little sauna was a welcome addition after travelling in freezing weather all day.

Excellent staff and smart looking in the public areas but our room looked tired, the doors looked like someone had broken in and the air con was broken. The staff did their best to remedy, provided fans (and free slippers) as the hotel was full so no room to move to. At checkout the reception said they would pay the city tax on our behalf as an apology but the cost still appeared on my credit card bill. Location was good for Eurostar and the room wasn’t expensive, if rather hot in the heatwave.

Staff was not very friendly. Had to wait for a long time at both reception for checkin and at restaurant.

Liked proximity to train station. Too many homeless on the property panhandling. Major lack of support with a heat issue in our room. Front desk would not ask a maintanence call to at least get the room fan working. Any air movement would have been an improvement.

The hotel didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed at a Pullman in Auckland and the Brussels one is a two against its five out of five. Check in was slow with only one member of staff allowed to check in, who was on a long call with someone wanting a refund. Few staff spoke good English. The hotel felt tired and dated with smallish rooms. The breakfast was underwhelming. The only benefit is that it is steps away from the Channel Tunnel trains.

Friendly, helpful staff. We were able to check into our room early and stay an extra hour on departure. Very nice well appointed deluxe room. Excellent breakfast.

The Pullman hotel was a nice stay and very convenient to the train station. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were nice. The neighborhood around the hotel isn’t very welcoming but the convenience of the train station made it worth it as we were traveling around Belgium during our visit.

Very handy if you are getting a Eurostar or another train as the entrance is right inside the station 2 mins walk to Eurostar terminal. Friendly staff and nice big rooms, high floor rooms have great city views too!

Quarto excelente, localizado melhor ainda. O hotel fica na estação Brussels-Midi, fácil de se locomover, em cima da estação de trem e do metrô. Hotel moderno, quarto espaçoso e confortável.

We liked the central location right on top of the MIDI train station and walking distance to the shopping, dining and sights near the Grand Place

We arrived late at night from the Eurostar and the hotel is a very short walk from the terminal - no need to even leave the station. Very comfortable hotel with efficient friendly staff. Not the nicest part of town but centre accessible by metro - or about 25 min walk

This is a soulless hotel. The food at the restaurant is mediocre. I had the worst ceviche and chicken mole of my life. Instead of trying too hard, this hotel should focus in providing freshly cooked flavourful food. The breakfast was also very average with fruit cut most likely a few days before so it was not nice at all.

Reasonable hotel extremly convenient located inside the midi train station. Surrounding area is not good at all, had I know the trains I needed also departed from the central stations i had stayed in a hotel over that Area. Regarding the Pullman hotel: rooms are ok for a short stay, shower is really good. Breakfast is very cumbersome, reposition of food takes too long. Menu options in the restaurant for lunch or dinner are very limited. Staff at the front desk isn’t the kindest, my checkout experience was way much better than check in. All staff at the restaurant is VERY kind.

Really lovely hotel. Couldn’t be more perfect for catching the Eurostar. My only negative was breakfast - ordered room service the night before and it was 20 mins late. Sausages were cold, mushrooms barely cooked, scrambled eggs nice. Have to say though, I think it was an anomaly as the burger I had the night before was great.
