Hotel espetacular no centro de Bruxelas. Serviço excelente e quarto muito confrotável. O bar é muito agradável onde só se pode comer uns snacks muito ligeiros e o restaurante é horrível parecendo uma cantina. Uma das razões que escolhi este hotel foi a piscina interior mas que obrigava a uma reserva prévia que quando a pedi já não estava disponível o que foi uma surpresa bastante desagrável. Por estas razões creio que não será uma das opções numa próxima ida a Bruxelas.

Everything was perfect Only downside was being a 5 star property they don’t own their swimming pool They are doing partnership with some private club and that is only for adults. Including me I saw many people with families in the hotel and for kids a pool is a must. Other than that every one was super kind and lovely and helpful

Das Hotel an sich sieht super aus und ist einem klassischen Stiel gehalten. Allerdings mussten wir leider wieder auschecken nachdem uns gesagt wurde, das der Poolbereich ab 18 ist. Unser Sohn hätte also auf dem Zimmer alleine bleiben müssen. Des weiteren ist der Poolbereich nur nach Reservierung zu benutzen. Das alles sollte man auch in der Hotelbeschreibung ausschreiben. Hätten wir das alles vorher gewusst, hätte ich das Hotel mit Sicherheit nicht gebucht und die 350€ gespart. Am besten suchen sich Familien mit Kindern ein anderes Hotel, wo Kinder auch willkommen sind.

Although the hotel entrance and lobby is very beautiful, when it comes to the room the cleanliness level is very low, stains on the carpets and the towels have stains. We had to ask to change the towels on arrival because of stains. We didn’t allow house keeping during our stay because we saw that they use the same towel to wipe everything in the room. It's a 5-star superior hotel, both structurally and organizationally, and it certainly has the appearance of one. However, the room had not been dusted in many areas for quite some time. The minibar was practically nonexistent, the fridge didn’t work, and a significant amount of water had to be wasted before the hot water arrived. The beds were not properly made the next day—the duvet was left as it was—and the cups used for tea were not washed. A breakfast table, used by one of the residents, was left in the corridor from the morning until the evening. After already paying quite a considerable amount for 2nights stay upon arrival we were told we had to pay an extra €200 deposit before we were allowed into the room. Nowhere this was stated on the website or before arriving. After the stress of booking in we get to the room to find the bathroom floor had a white chalk substance covered all over it so much it left a clean mark and a dirty finger when wiped. After paying so much we didnt want to be accused of any damage so we took pictures and documented; The person who stayed 2 days before their menu was still in the room and we hadn't been giving a new one, One phone didnt work, The bed frame was hanging off the wall so everytime you moved or sat down it bashed against the wall, The wallpaper had bubbled in places and was ready to fall off along with the many stains that looked like a damp cloth would of cleaned away, The bathroom mirror was lose and sink marble had terrible deep cracks all along and throughout, There was no heated towel rail or radiator to dry with with limited towels available, No bathroom mats just towels placed down making it very slippery, The leather was cracked and the chairs were dirty marked with stains. I do wonder if most of this would of been easily missed if it wasnt for the fear of losing a deposit over nothing. The security were such a pleasure to talk with always greeting us and giving us advice they really do make the hotel feel safe. Al staff were lovely.

The room is big for European standards. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The bed linen and bath towels are clean and no smell of cigarette or chemicals. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. The hotel staff are also very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. There are a Vietnamese, a Korean and a Thai restaurant near the hotel within 5 minutes walk if you enjoy Asian food. A small grocery store and a “Paul” bakery also within 3 minutes walk. A bus stop is right in front, we need to take the bus to get off the next stop to catch the metro, or you can walk 15 minutes to the metro station.

I arrived at the hotel 11 AM. At the booking, I requested the early check-in and the hotel confirmed it had made the note. In fact, I had to wait over 5 hours even after hotel's regular check-in time, 3 PM. The time I checked in was 4:30 PM. Then, Sunday night, there was the event and laud bass noise bothered me until 1:30 PM. Then, on Thusday, no hot water. Throughout my stay, I had the issue of WiFi poor signal that made me impossible to plan a video conference from my room with my US colleague.

This is a really nice hotel. However, the temperature control in the room was very problematic. The room was very hot and when we called the reception, the option we were given was to have a small fan or open the windows. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Actually, the best in Europe so far! The service is nothing short of amazing! Everyone, as in each member of the staff gives exceptional attention, care and goes beyond what is expected. From the valet to the front desk, housekeeping, and the waiters. Loved their breakfast too. They have vast selection to choose from and they tasted wonderful. Their fitness studio is a tad small but they have top of the range equipment (Technogym). I can not fault this hotel for anything. Special shout out to Julie, Amelie, especially Ilias of front desk. The perfect hosts of this 5-star hotel. Sorry if I forgot the names of the others as there's so many of them! Such wonderful people.

The staff were incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived, allowing us to see two rooms before deciding which room was best suited to my son's accessibility needs as he uses a wheelchair. If you are looking for an accessible room, the deluxe room has an accessible bathroom. The breakfast offered such a huge choice of options suiting every taste and everything was delicious and fresh. The hotel and room were spotless and there were lovely touches such as the chocolate on the pillow each night. I would recommend this hotel for the price but there are some flaws. It is very dated and does not look fresh. The rooms are better than the lobby. My check in was not the smoothest but not why I would give this hotel bad marks. My disappointment lies completely with the bad service, information and horrible attitude I got from the concierge. I don't know his name but he was completely incompetent, did not know the city at all and even gave me wrong information. He did not even kn ow the museums would be closed on a national holiday. That combined with his poor attitude every time I went to him for directions around town. Breakfast was very nice but if you don't go early you will have to wait for a table. The lounge was small, not alot of atmosphere. The food was good but expensive. Location is in the shopping area. About a 30 minute walk to the main historical area. I am sure the hotel had more glamour in its day but now seems warn and commercial.

The hotel location was great, hotel is comfortable and accessible. However, when checking in, the receptionist told us we need to wait a little since we got there earlier than expected. We waited long enough before realizing others weren’t waiting and had a room right away. When we asked “how much longer” it seemed that the receptionist forgot about my partner and I, then gave us a room right away. The only friendly staff I give credit are the bell boys, they were exceptional!!! On our last day, before checking out, the experience wasn’t too pleasant. We knew breakfast wasn’t included and we were okay with paying for it since we needed a quick meal, 80€ later, we couldn’t eat anything due to the food being so cold and unattended. No water was provided to us or even water to grab anywhere. The same hostess that charged us for the meal came 5 minutes later to tell us they’re “closing soon”. She could at least have warned us before paying for ice eggs, cold bacon and terrible coffee. I will only recommend this hotel for business purposes, since the staff seem to be more interested than having tourist guests. I don’t recommend any food from the hotel menu either.

Classic grand hotel experience. good value for what you received. be aware it’s a solid 25 minute hike from there to the Grand Place. they were a little short staffed the day i checked out so the restaurant didn’t open at 6:30am as expected and we had to go get our car out of the lot since there was no valet either. so that wasn’t great. you kinda pay premium for those extra services.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful however rather a long way from the main action. The taxi drivers are not happy about customers using cards which makes travelling around quite anxiety provoking The tea making facilities in room didn’t include black tea, or milk and we had a nightmare getting what we needed, and almost had to pay 20 euros for what should be free Miscommunication between members of staff led to delays on checking in, and a fair bit of hassle. Très bel hôtel quoiqu’un peu vieillot . Petit déjeuner buffet hors de prix 38€. Service de chambre à revoir car beaucoup d’erreurs commises pendant mon séjour : chambre non faite un jour , papier toilette manquant un autre jour, pas remis du café ou de tasse propre quasiment tous les jours et donc obligé de réclamer. Plantes fanées dans la salle du petit déjeuner . C’est peut être du détail mais à ce tarif de la nuitée et ce standing, tout est dans le détail

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast options varied and v good quality. Staff checked each night if we had everything we needed. Room was very spacious and comfotable. Food in bar was only adequate and menu was limited. Lacked atmosphere. We were told pool was unavailable when we arrived for our stay , this was one the main reason we booked this hotel because it had a pool. It seems hard to find a hotel with a pool in brussels. I would rate this hotel 7.5 out of 10.
