Great breakfast options including eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. The location is very convenient to the China Lake entrance and to gas and shopping, as well as access to Hwy 395 via Hwy 178. The only issue is the property has only two washing machines and two dryers for guest laundry.

The property was fine, expected more in the room. Our beds were sweeky and uncomfortable. The bathroom needs updated, toliet was too low....needed higher seat I would like to have a copy of my bill. People were very friendly and nice....gym was great ... !

Friendly, responsive, attentive staff. The outer yard area was under repair but certainly caused no issues. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Excellent lodging.

The staff was WONDERFUL. The breakfast attendant kept everything clean,stocked and friendly. Everyone we encountered was cheerful and accommodating. The only downer was that the hot tub smelled moldy and dirty. Beside,that we had a very enjoyable stay.

Very clean and pleasant to stay here. Parking safe, well kept, pool and jacuzzi very nice. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bed and pillows very nice, our room had a view of the desert sunset. 😁 Our only issue… Walls a bit thinner than expected. But they have CC on the good quality excessively large TV. Largest TV we have seen so far when traveling. We will stay here again. This is a nice friendly Military town. Police definitely doing their jobs here. The restaurants close early here 8pm to 9 pm. (This was a Friday) Lots of places to eat, but definitely go early… Would definitely stay here again!

This was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, informative, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were both quick and painless. The room was clean; the bed was comfortable. The one downside to our room was the tub stopper was broken and wouldn't hold water in the tub. Breakfast was fine and included things like cereal, muffins, yogurt, and bagels. The pool was clean and refreshing after a hot day.

We were unpleasantly surprised that this hotel only provides housekeeping service every other day. During our checkin we were not informed about this. We only found out when we returned to our room and it wasn’t serviced. In addition the hotel.com website lists that this hotel offers daily housekeeping ; which is not factual. And the official website of the hotel doesn’t mention this downgraded service. All very disappointing.

The staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean and well laid-out. However, the air conditioners are very noisy room units. Air conditioning is mandatory in this town in the middle of the desert, but I found it impossible to sleep with the loud buzz coming from the unit. I checked with the front desk and was told that this is a problem with all the units in all the rooms, and they kindly offered ear plugs. But that sound level is unacceptable. There was also a noxious odor in the hallways, elevator and front entry from repairs and construction in the hotel. Customers should be advised of this in advance rather than notified by a sign in the hotel. If I had known about this and the a/c problem, I would never have come.

We were kept awake from 4:30am to 6am from the guests in the room above us walking around. Also, doors slamming down the hall. Not sure how they can have such thin walls on a modern hotel? Woke up miserable after all the noise but the hotel is clean, friendly workers and great breakfast. I would not stay there again unless I was on the top floor.

If you want to relax/sleep on your stay, this isn't the place. Walls, floors/ceiling are paper thin. You hear everything. The staff were awesome though, so that's a plus.

Property was very noisy, you could hear the toilets flushing from all rooms around you, When people on the floor above walked across their floor our wardrobe banged. Breakfast was okay with a good choice and a lady that kept everything well stocked. When we booked it said there was a safe but their wasn't.

Our stay was good, but we had a problem with our 3rd night. Hampton Inn did not have record of our 3rd reservation and we had to pay for it again. It was later refunded by Hotel.com, but dealing with the issue caused us to lose about an hour of time with our granddaughter.

The Hotel was really great but the staff was even better. We had been on a long road trip and had stayed at 3 other hotels. The Hampton Inn at Ridgvrest was by far the most welcoming. Always going out of their way to provide help. For us, excellence is found when people make the effort to enhance even the smallest things. The staff here did that. Super friendly and attentive. The Management should be really proud of their staff. It is hard to know if we will be back in Ridgecrest, but if we do we will stay nowhere else but here. Much love to you all and Thank you for a lovely stay <3

Bryce and Caryn up front were so friendly! Maria did an amazing job with the room being so clean and tidy. The gal at breakfast had a wonderful spread of food, everything was delicious, clean, and she was also extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

I booked the suite for our Son’s family to visit us. The only complaint I have is the quality of the included breakfast. The coffee was very good but my Son felt that the hot offerings were very poor and not what we would expect from a hotel of your caliber.

I have stayed at ridgecrest hampton Inn several times in the past year, and I always go back to them when ever I visit death valley on my way to las vegas. Their service is absolute best, and their breakfast buffet is the best anywhere I have had. Its very important to have your tummy full before heading out to death valley, and hampton Inn breakfast satisfies every need of that. Will stay again at this property.
