Hampton Inn & Suites Wilder

Stayed one night on way down to TN. Pool was ok but hot tub was broken. Main issue was that we forgot my son’s travel bed rail and when we called to inquire they said they didn’t have it. Highly disappointed that it wasn’t turned in by housekeeping to be returned to us. Lesson learned to always double check before leaving room.

Plenty of parking. Clean.

Room was very clean and spacious. However, we did wish the pool water/area was warmer and that the hot tub was open! But all in all would recommend staying there!

The location of this property is very close to the freeway but there are no food options in the close vicinity. The beds were comfortable but the lack of a fan in the bathroom caused mildew on the bathroom wall. The hot tub was not functional, which was a disappointment. We have stayed in other Hampton Inns that were much nicer. I would not choose this location again for the mildew and cleanliness issues in our room and poor location away from food choices. There is a nearby Hampton Inn that is near the river in Newport. It’s a nicer location with nearby food options and river view.

Would've been better if the courtyard was open all night. Also the gym and pool.

Stayed here one night for a concert. The property is clean, and parking was convenient. Check in was easy, and the staff was nice. The fitness center was closed, but the hotel was in the process of remodeling. The location is convenient to the highway, but dining options were somewhat limited.

The property was under construction. The pool was closed. My booking said we would have a city view. We had a view of a brick wall. The staff was not overly friendly or welcoming. There were cabinets and other project materials in the hall. They started hammering and pounding in the room above us while we were trying to sleep. The breakfast was gross. It was some weird egg with a piece of American cheese in the middle and ham slices floating in water. It was just unpleasant the whole time. Not what I expected.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is near the highway to nearby activities, yet safe. It was very clean and in good repair. The breakfast was poor - cold dishes, watery oatmeal (lukewarm). The fitness room had no working treadmills, but there were other options.

Room seemed to lack some basic items, such as a fan in the bathroom, extra trash can in sink area. TV was mounted on a wall such that you couldn't see it from either bed. Hair in the trap of the shower. Overall, room was not what we had come to expect when staying at a Hampton Inn.

Excellent service from the front desk to the staff. The property was well maintained and very clean.

We were comfortable in our room. There were many stains on the chair so we had to put a towel on it just to feel comfortable sitting on it. Wall paper was ripping off the walls. This place needs a major update. It appears it is in process. Breakfast was in a small conference room, although the main breakfast area appeared ready to use. The toaster was out of order - Really? Can you spend $10 and go get one at the store?

Under construction which is understandable but the halls were loud and outside was loud. The halls were hot and a bit unkept The rooms were subpar. Vents were dirty. No bath fan. Just ok

Our room was extremely run down. They were undergoing construction and some remodelling so I’m sure that these rooms are being remodeled. The carpets were very dirty and look like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time.

We’ve stayed here multiple times & they are consistently clean, friendly & accommodating.

Our room was dirty upon check in. Staff was not very friendly, though they did get us a new room though not the layout we needed. No comp or upgrades. Property was grata location for Riverbend music though

Stayed there when we went to see a concert at Riverbend. They are in the process of remodeling....the check in area is very nice, our room was 'okay'. Someone dropped something on the floor above us a few times..I don't know what it was but it was VERY loud. Bathtub was gross....my husband took a shower in his foot flops. Could have used a good scrubbing. No restaurants in the area. Cant say how breakfast was, we got back from the concert at 1:30am and left at 6am. Didn't have much contact with staff but the person at the check in desk was very nice. Final room cost was $240 (on a Thursday night). I'm sure once it is remodeled it wil be very nice, but it's not a $240 experience.

Stayed here with 15 teenagers and 3 adults for a school trip. Suites are very spacious. Fold out couch is painful. It has springs in the mattress so bring a pad/air mattress. Other than that, it was an awesome stay. Great breakfast with a large room to eat in. Swimming pool was great and open late. Fitness room is smaller, but has 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and 2 bikes. Will stay here again next year.

Nice hotel. Traffic noise noticeable at times, but everything else was great!

Bed was not comfortable and too hard. Ended up not sleeping well and woke up tired ☹️

Hotel was nice but the floors are paper thin. It sounded like there was a heard of elephants above us. Turns out it was just toddlers.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints during this visit! Seeing the sunsets from the hotel room were beautiful too!

A little ways away from things but not too far. Nice room and good view of skyline.

Overall stay was pleasant except I now have the worse backack you can imagine. I am attaching a picture of the mattress that has a 8-inch-deep VALLEY in it. It wasn't til the second night that I realized I had sunk into the mattress! I am 5'9 weighing 190 pounds so I am not overweight ...it was a VERY BAD mattress!

I didn’t like that when we got to our rooms one of the keys didn’t work…next day both keys did not work. Also, sitting in my room and a stranger walks in on me holding up a key saying 332??? He apologized but this was very awkward! It was very frustrating not knowing if keys were going to work or not!

After my stay there was a charge on my card for $20 and they won’t return my call to tell me what it was for. The breakfast bar was very sparse.

The staff was amazing. They were running behind and hustled fast to get us a room because we had the kids with us.

It was a construction zone when we arrived starting on the road leading to the hotel. The check-in staff staff was great and extremely accommodating. When We arrived back to the hotel@1130ish, a shift change had occurred and the night/morning breakfast crew had taken over. The gentleman behind the desk verbally reprimanded me for sitting on a seat just inside the dining area, clearly 5 feet from the lobby area. We i’ve been standing and cheering and singing during a concert with 90 temps outside. We just needed some relief.. To sit for a moment. Was a verbal reprimand necessary in that situation? the night crew she realize, especially on a Saturday night, how to deal with people to back to the hotel that have been out having a good time. Do you have to be a ball buster? The following morning, the same person and A second older management person was totally oblivious to the necessities for their guests. No coffee even though it had been brought to their attention multiple times for over a half hour& still didn’t get coffee, ran out of sausage multiple times out of two different juices at the juice station. The hotel is under construction and it was a hot mess. extremely frustrating when you were trying to relax on a night out. Once again, our check-in crew was great and extremely accommodating the night crew which turned into most of the morning crew were essentially useless

The area seemed to be safe and was quiet. After a day of driving, we were hoping to walk to dining, rather than to drive. We found a Bob Evans within a few miles.

Great and close access to downtown Cincinnati and Airport, 15 -20 minutes to either location! I will always book this property when attending downtown festivities etc., if staying downtown is an issue.

Staff was so nice and friendly. Great location off of the highway.

Pleasant spot to stay as we were going to a concert at Riverbend. I would say keep the breakfast open longer. Some of us sleep in. Oh and Longnecks is close to go get great pizza and hang out.

Amazing place to stay everything was perfect but we kinda like to get out and plunder and this hotel was up on a hill by itself and not really walking distance from anything you just can’t get out and walk on the interstate

Stayed for concert at Riverbend Music Center - quick drive over. Affordable. Great stay!

we stayed two nights and were close to many cool attractions and restaurants. close enough to cincinnati to make a quick trip. we will book this location again.

Hotel is going through remodel and breakfast was very limited but other than that it’s a nice place to stay

The room was very comfortable. Slept great, bed very nice. Its a quiet hotel and pet friendly. Cant give good review for breakfast. I kindly suggest to better how things are fixed. The coffee is weak. The ham we tried watery and no taste. But wonderful hotel overall.

Loved the property. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Newport but close enough to drive to the Levee multiple times a day (I have little that needed to come back for naps), the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the facility was very clean. I would return!

We have stayed in this Hampton Inn before and it has really gone downhill. The lounge/breakfast area furniture is very dirty and makes you not want to sit on it. Also, the breakfast is the same every single day. We were there for a family event and it required a several-day stay and the breakfast did not change - at all! Overall, this hotel is okay and doable but it could be way better.

Breakfast was disappointing. The only good thing was the omelets. Waffles very dry. Pastries terrible. Not may hot options.

Staff was awesome! Pool was nice for the kids but hot tub was not in commission. Breakfast had plenty of options for food/drinks. Hot coffee all day! Recently remodeled and still like new. Would totally stay again!
