Very clean room with cozy feel. Easy and free parking, super nice staff to assist with anything. Highly recommend.

We had it for one night. Beautiful rooms, nice staff, breakfast was really good. Kids enjoyed the pool and the gym .

The pool was dirty and cold. The shower curtain had stuff on it and smelled like mildew. The people upstairs and beside us was very loud. The hotel itself was overall clean though. The breakfast was good! The hotel is surrounded by nothing also. The nearest restaurant wasnt far though. Family friendly place.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. The rooms were pleasant, and the breakfast was among the best I've had in a while. The only downside was that the heated pool was actually quite cold. Aside from that, everything was fantastic.

The stay was valentines weekend and it was amazing, the staff were very wonderful and so polite. The pool area was wonderful and clean. One of the best breakfast my family and I have had while we travel. Everything was great and once again the overnight girl and the lady handling breakfast were incredible people.

Wonderful value for the price. Clean room, good breakfast, nice pool, even a guest laundry on site.

Decent room right off the interstate. Convenient to NKU. Only one EV charger appeared to be working but I was able to snag it and charge up overnight. Room was contemporary and clean. No complaints.

Nice hotel with nice staff. It’s right next to the highway which is convenient. I was worried it might be too noisy but it wasn’t, it was nice and quiet. Lobby and dining areas are nice and clean. I didn’t go into the pool but it looked nice. The room itself was nice, it was spacious and clean. The bed was okay but not great, it was kind of lumpy, especially in the middle. AC worked well. Toilet didn’t always flush properly the first time. Really nice lighting in the bathroom and the room itself. They have a convenience store type of thing on the first floor with drinks, snacks and other common items. Drinks weren’t terribly overpriced, $3 for a bottle of water or soda. Alcohol didn’t seem too expensive either. The snacks were super expensive though. $6 for a regular sized Snickers bar and $4 for a very small bag of Doritos. There are late night food options available. We ordered Indian food and had it delivered after 10pm, I think they were open until midnight. The breakfast in the morning looked good. I wasn’t very hungry so I only had coffee and a cinnamon roll, but it was good. Overall it was a nice stay, and I would stay again.

Overall ease of getting to-from destinations. One thing that stood out was the bathtub had mildew in the corners that could have been cleaned.

The staff at this Holiday Inn were very friendly and helpful. We were not impressed by the condition and overall cleanliness. Our room was not spotless by any means. It looks like they did the basic and didn't deep clean. There were several details I would have liked to see taken care of, such as crumbs in the corners, better wipe down of the shower, a working remote, and sheets left for the sofa couch.

Hotel was not crowded. The pool looked nice as did the breakfast -- we didn't partake in either due to time restrictions. The front desk attendants were very friendly! We noticed mold growing in the shower, although the bathrooms were otherwise spacious and well accommodated. We couldn't get the thermostat to turn on...thankfully the room was a comfortable temperature.

Our door lock quit working the first morning. They said it was the battery but we sat in the hall and then the lobby while the guy from the front desk worked trying to get us in our room. It was not only hot in the hallway but nasty as there was trash sitting outside of rooms that had been there from the day before. There was a terrible smell in the hallway the entire time we were there. We returned to our room late the second night. Our trip was for a concert. Our room was so hot! We had purposely set our air to a lower temp as our concert was outdoors. We wanted to be cool when we got back. The front desk attendant again came to check and told us to give it a couple hours and see if it would cool down! It was already after midnight. I would not recommend staying here. The trash was still in the hallway outside of other rooms when we got back the second night also.

Very clean , friendly staff, good breakfast

Everything was excellent! Quick and easy check in and out. We even arrived slightly early and room was ready! Everything was clean. Bed was fluffy and comfy. Loved the big bottles of dove products provided! Shower caulking could use repair but definitely didnt take away from the great stay. The hot breakfast was outstanding and so much to pick from!

The “sofa bed” in the King room is not a sofa bed. It is more like a chaise lounge. There were 3 of us as the room description says 3 can sleep. One of us slept miserably on the chaise.

Check in and front desk service were great. The room had no light blocking curtains, so the street light lit up the room all night. Ugh! A lack of charging ports caused problems for 3 people in the room. In today’s world there need to be a lot more.

The room was very clean. The alarm clock is really bright and the fire alarm flashes constantly a bright white light. If you are bothered by lights like that while you sleep, bring a sleep mask. I wish I would have.

Location was perfect for our trip. Staff were friendly and the room was very spacious and comfortable.

It was very clean. But you could hear everything. People walking above us(sounded like they were coming thru the floor) kids screaming in another room. I heard the all the noise from the highway. I could even hear the toilet flushing from room next to me. I won’t ever stay at a holiday inn express again. Stayed at one last in completed different state with the same experience

My room was terrible! The A/C unit when it kicked on was loud, sounds broken. Then the refrigerator was so loud when it cycled it would wake us all up. My wife said it was the worste hotel experience she's ever had.

Carpets were stained and looked gross. And shortly after we checked in and got into our room, the door opened unexpectedly and it was a hotel worker

The hotel charged me for the entire 3 night stay, instead of just for incidentals. I already paid for the reservation through Hotels.com and now my money is tied up as "Pending" for the next several days until the refund gets put back onto my debit card.

Upon check-in at the property the staff charged the full room rate to my card, although I had already paid in full days earlier when I made the reservation through Expedia. I saw this reflected on my bank account and brought it to the attention of the front desk staff immediately. They were apologetic and attempted to “release” the additional charge. They assured me it had been released and should be returned to my account shortly. About 30 minutes later I checked my account again and the room rate had been charged to my account a second time! Both of these charges were in the pending category, thus holding my money essentially hostage and unusable. I again brought this to the attention of the front desk staff and they tried again to release the money, assuring me it would be returned immediately. Instead, at checkout I received a receipt for the room rate (not Expedia rare) and was told to call the manager the next day, Monday. The manager informed me that the charges were just pending and had been released on their end but that does not explain why I was even charged at all when I had already paid in full at the time of my booking. At this point I have been told that I have to wait 3-10 business days for this money to be back in my bank account and otherwise I am out of luck at this point. I have never had such a crappy situation with a hotel stay or with booking through Expedia, but as of now I have paid over double for 1 night at a Holiday Inn Express. It’s a mess!

Check-in was frustrating and took over an hour to get our room. Got there at 2:40pm and was told our room was almost ready & would be about 20 min. Totally fine since they were sold out for a concert & check-in time was not til 3pm. We returned at 3:10pm and were told it wasn't ready yet but given no time frame. We waited in the lobby while others came in and got into their rooms right away. At 3:30 we asked about an update and were told it would be ANOTHER 30 min. We mentioned that we were there for a concert and needed to get ready to leave, but the staff was rude saying there was nothing they could do. I mentioned that I was told it would be 20 min at 2:40pm and it was now almost an hour later - the lady said "well that's not my problem, they should not have told you 20 minutes." :( There was one guy that came in after and made arrangements for us to use another room to get ready, but then our room was ready. Once we got into our room everything was great! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and our stay was fine.

We are grateful for the early check in on Saturday. We arrived at 12:15pm for a 2pm wedding. Our guest services representative at the counter found one room available. Our family of 5 was able to get ready and be on time for the wedding. Thank you for saving the day for us!

Loved the proximity to Cincinatti but was far enough away for us to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved being surrounded by the trees and hills. Really appreciated the breakfast each morning. Very good selection and good food. Housekeeping did an excellent job.

Location was easy access for us to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Zoo, and Aquarium. Great lobby for lounging and working. Great design features in the room. Loved the walk-in shower. Quiet location. A few easy dining options including Mellow Mushroom. One of our best hotel stays ever.

Great location off the highway, the area is very quiet and safe. Hotel is super clean and very nice for the price.

The hotel was a great close location to Riverbend pavilion.

Great for a stay if you are going to Riverbend, easy Uber ride to and from.

Close to Riverband Music Center. 10 minute drive.

Overall this was a very nice hotel. It was close to where we were going (Newport Aquarium and Heritage Bank Center) but out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We all slept well in the beds. The only downside was there were no vending machines at all at the hotel. We got in kind of late the 1st night and my wife wanted a drink but the only option was a 16 oz bottle of water at the desk for $3. We would for sure stay here again though if staying in the Cincinnati area.

Very comfortable king size bed. And the breakfast had a very nice variety of different foods to choose from.
