Online photos and descriptions did not correspond with reality onsite. Area was noisy and congested, and the hotel had no parking facility. Bedding, towels and bathroom were clean, but the chair in the room was soiled and dirty. Carpet at the room door entrance was worn thru in spots and unsightly. The elevator door inside and out was unclean. Two different male receptionists encountered, and one female receptionist, were helpful and deserve commendation for their service.

Reception sounded perky on the phone but upon arrival was not very welcoming (bad day?). The building where the front desk was located had been remodeled nicely. So very disappointed that the Express (building across the street) was not, hallway carpeting needed to be replaced. There is no AC nor bathroom fan but windows do open. Room was very clean with clean sheets. Location was easy access to the main tourist area (about 10 minutes walk). Bus stop in front so easy to get to train station. Early check-in was not possible and self directed to luggage storage room, which is not locked. I would book again and would request for the main building, not the Express building.

Very friendly staff but very tired property, needs a refurb, carpets washed and new tvs, ours wasn't working but the lovely young chap at reception replaced it. Beds were comfy and bathroom was good. About 8 mins walk from the central train station so a good location and a very good supermarket 100m from the entrance with everything you need. Good coffee shop down the road as well.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The amenities listed for this hotel do not exist. There is no parking available - they told me to park on the street. There is no laundry. There is no bar. There is no 24/7 room service - there is no room service at all. Rooms dont even offer coffee, nor fridges. The terrace that we had to walk across to get to our room is crumbling and was cordoned off by danger tape. Our room had filthy carpets. We checked in, went to find a laundromat and tried to cancel the renainder of our reservation within 2 hours of check in due the false advertising and we checked out the next morning after waiting 3 hours for a "manager" that never came. The hotel refused to refund anything, refused to check me out of the room, and lost the Amazon package that was delivered to me and signed for by reception. They are dishonest, rude, and cheats. I am appaled that they are on Expedia because this IS NOT a reputable company.

No air conditioning in the rooms and they get very hot. It was over 80 degrees during the night while we were trying to sleep. The beds were not made up with sheets or covers and now I know why they were just folded and lying on top of the bed…because you don’t need them. The windows cracked a tiny bit at the top, but there was no airflow to drag the cool night air into the room. Moreover, when you cracked the windows it made it even more difficult to sleep because of the rowdiness outside. The front desk had no fans to assist in cooling the room, either. Around 4:00 am, I cracked the room door and slept with it open to create an airflow to try to cool the room down with minor success. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all for a decent night’s sleep. The washer and dryer that they advertise as being available does not exist.

Super Lage zur Theresienwiese, sauberes geräumiges Zimmer, mega nettes Personal. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Duschkopf/Duschtür könnten erneuert bzw. repariert werden. Der Fernseher ist sehr klein (allerdings haben ihn auch nicht gebraucht). Parkplatzsituation war überraschend entspannt.

To start out on the positive the rooms were clean and spacious, but not the most comfortable beds and terrible pillows. Breakfast was also decent and good coffee. The hotel states it has laundry facilities which it doesn’t. It also states there is a gym nearby, which there is not. Also it is not in the best area.

Das Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend groß für mich als Einzelperson. Sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück mit großen Auswahl, gute kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und gute Verkehrsverbindungen mit SBahn und UBahn ca.200m entfernt.Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Gerne wieder. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Hotel room didn’t have air conditioning and had a dirty carpet. Shower had mold and the toilet was leaking water constantly. We got only one key to the room and would have liked two keys. The area is not safe, many homeless people around. I don’t recommend to women travelling alone.

Wifi connection was not great in the room, no outlet next to the bed. Furniture was dirty and bathroom faucets need repair. I would feel much safer with an additional lock on the door only accessible from the inside, I was disappointed that this was not available.

The location is very convenient. The staff are excellent- helpful and friendly. The area can be noisy if the room faces Goethestr. The windows are very good at blocking the noise but then the room gets warm.

The hotel itself was okay. The elevator was extremely small, and it was weird to know that they had a physical key to the room, which was left in the room after we checked in. Even though it is located 10 mins away from the train station and 15 minutes from all historic/interesting points, it is also located in a weird area where we did not feel safe late afternoon/evening (women); the area has a lot of striptease clubs and other stuff like that, you know what I mean. There is only Middle Eastern food around. we ended up bringing food and eating in the room to avoid walking outside in the evening. The hotel does not have a microwave or fridge available for guests, and their kitchen is only open for breakfast; there's no coffee maker either, which wasn't a big deal for us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the 3 times we interacted with them (the elevator was on the ground floor, reception was on the first floor, and our room was on the 4th). If you are staying at this hotel, please bring soap/shampoo - theirs is like dish soap :-(

3 blocks from train and subway and about as far to Oktoberfest grounds. The neighborhood feels a bit sketchy and the hotel entrance corridor feels like i made a bad mistake. HOWEVER, once inside, the desk staff were nice and my room was comfortable. The negatives were the dim room, low sloped ceiling for half the room, and the elevator not going to the top floor (where my room was). I did nothing about the heating as the room was find for October. Breakfast for €15 was reasonable. Given Oktoberfest the rate was fair. No room safe or kettle or instant coffee. No refrigerator.

Hotellet ligger nära till både centralstation och centrum (Altstadt), men gatan det ligger på har en lite ruffig karaktär. Själva hotellet är rent och välskött, men utan några extra finesser. Det finns ingen AC, vilket märks när sommarvärmen ligger runt 30 grader. Sängarna hade obekväma madrasser och de tjockaste kuddar vi upplevt vilket gjorde det svårt att sova bra. Rummets tv var den minsta vi sett på väldigt länge. Badrum och rum var på det hela taget fräscht, med undantag för heltäckningsmattan som sett bättre dagar.

Leider im Hochsommer absolut nicht zu empfehlen: im 5. Stock direkt unterm Dach war die Hitze schier unerträglich. Da hat auch das Klimagerät, das im Zimmer stand, kaum was ausgerichtet. Eine Klimaanlage müsste zwingend nachgerüstet werden. Außerdem hat der Wasserhahn im Bad gespritzt, und es gab am Bett keine Steckdosen. Pluspunkte allerdings für die Top-Lage: Hauptbahnhof und U-Bahn-Station Goetheplatz sind easy zu Fuß erreichbar, direkt neben dem Hotel sind ein dm und ein REWE.

Eine Klimaanlage müsste zwingend nachgerüstet werden. Außerdem hat der Wasserhahn im Bad gespritzt, und es gab am Bett keine Steckdosen. Pluspunkte allerdings für die Top-Lage: Hauptbahnhof und U-Bahn-Station Goetheplatz sind easy zu Fuß erreichbar, direkt neben dem Hotel sind ein dm und ein REWE.

The property is a surprise as from the street it is very nondescript. The hotel starts on the second floor (VERY friendly staff at front desk) and once you head to the very clean and updated room and the inside atrium presents a very modern look with windows and a lounge area that was being renovated on our stay. Great value not central location but very walkable! Suggest the following inexpensive additions to each room for a superior experience: - A fan to circulate the air - coffee maker - small bar fridge for drinks Wonderful employees made it memorable:)

The staff was wonderful and the property was clean. The bedding and bed were comfortable. We did have minor issue with toilet continuously running and the shower would not drain. Only other note, we had a front facing room which was quite loud at night but then again, it was a very central and convenient location.

They gave us all the keys to our room apparently without keeping one for themselves, they didn’t have a spare, the master key didn’t work, then blamed us for losing the key when they didn’t keep anyone, this hotel is trash and a waste of money, the room was dirty, and the owner was unfriendly (Property Of Stupid), we were locked out of our room for a night and they refuse a refund because they didn’t have a key to get us in our room. We like that it is walk distance to train station, but it was a misunderstanding about we pay in advance and the hotel computer system is not process payments right away, and the hotel assistant wants to change us again, and apparently, she apologies with a free breakfast but we did pay on advance that too and she never return any money back. Hotel room didn’t have air conditioning and had a dirty carpet. Shower had mold and the toilet was leaking water constantly. We got only one key to the room and would have liked two keys. The area is not safe, many homeless people around. I don’t recommend to women travelling alone.

Reception sounded perky on the phone but upon arrival was not very welcoming (bad day?). The building where the front desk was located had been remodeled nicely. So very disappointed that the Express (building across the street) was not, hallway carpeting needed to be replaced. There is no AC nor bathroom fan but windows do open. Room was very clean with clean sheets. Location was easy access to the main tourist area (about 10 minutes walk). Bus stop in front so easy to get to train station. Early check-in was not possible and self directed to luggage storage room, which is not locked. I would book again and would request for the main building, not the Express building.

The hotel itself was okay. The elevator was extremely small, and it was weird to know that they had a physical key to the room, which was left in the room after we checked in. Even though it is located 10 mins away from the train station and 15 minutes from all historic/interesting points, it is also located in a weird area where we did not feel safe late afternoon/evening (women); the area has a lot of striptease clubs and other stuff like that, you know what I mean. There is only Middle Eastern food around. we ended up bringing food and eating in the room to avoid walking outside in the evening. The hotel does not have a microwave or fridge available for guests, and their kitchen is only open for breakfast; there's no coffee maker either, which wasn't a big deal for us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the 3 times we interacted with them (the elevator was on the ground floor, reception was on the first floor, and our room was on the 4th). If you are staying at this hotel, please bring soap/shampoo - theirs is like dish soap :-(

Hôtel très bon rapport qualité/prix, bien situé dans un quartier calme avec tout ce qu’il faut à courte distance. 10 minutes à pied de la gare centrale. Personnel très accueillant et chambres spacieuses, ascenseur. Seul point noir - un petit déjeuner de qualité discutable au prix de 15 euros par tête. Vaut mieux sortir au réveille! Recommandés - les restaurants afghans du quartier.

Jättenära tågstationen där vi åkte Bernina express. Incheckning senast 23:00 vilket var tur för oss. Väldigt bra frukost. Det enda var våningssängen som saknade täcken, vi klarade oss eftersom det var varmt. Wifi funkade inte för oss. Många restauranger och matbutiker i närheten.

All the staff was kind and highly hospitable. Their breakfast is more than adequate as the staff tries to accommodate each individual. There were two grocery stores located right next to the hotel which was very convenient. The beds and blankets were comfortable and the street our room faced was very quiet when we went to bed (9pm or shortly after). We really only used the hotel for sleep and we got good rest there every night.

Very convenient for the central station (Hbf), just a 5 minute walk from the south entrance. Looks a bit run down from the outside to the extent we were worried as we approached. However, once inside the staff were delightful and the twin room we had requested was perfectly ok. Decor a bit tired but perfectly comfortable. No AC but a fan was provided. The hot weather meant we needed to leave the window open and, being the first floor looking out onto the street, it was noisy. In the heart of the Turkish district so some great food available nearby if you enjoy Near Eastern cuisine. There is also a DB drugstore next door. Didn’t try the breakfast, which was €15 extra. Bag storage available, but just in the corridor, so not particularly secure. Overall decent value for a good location in Munich.
