Van der Valk Hotel Beveren

Booked a junior suite - Room 811…. The corridor was noisy because of the workmen banging about early in the morning. My shower had no door - only hinges on the walls where the door was! Breakfast was cold - bacon, beans etc…. Coffee was great though. Hotel was going through a refurbishment so spa area was closed. Sushi restaurant was amazing - highly recommend this. I feel that any hotel going through a refurbishment, when a booking has been made, should advise this as I most certainly would not have booked here!

Kind personnel, pretty restaurants, clean room and bathroom, only one negative point on swimming pool which was not that clean unlikely other facilities.

Vi stannade en natt här i samband med Ef Sheeran konsert. Fint spa med pool, bra mat och trevlig personal.

Mooi hotel, vriendelijk personeel, veel parkeergelegenheid, lekker ontbijt met veel keuze, lekker bed, fijne douche. Het water in het zwembad was wel wat koud, maar ik vind iets snel koud haha. Mijn dochter vond het zwembad heerlijk!

At breakfast there was 24 tables with used cups, plates etc. no were to sit and had to ask for a clean table. Rooms were old and could do with a refit. Pool was out of action and was not informed before my visit.

Nice and clesn room. Fantastic swimming pool and wellness area. However in house 8 the noise from the nearby train is disturbing and loud.

Very nice large hotel with all amenities, within short driving distance of Antwerp. If you would rather stay out of town and enjoy a hotel with spa, swimming pool, 3 restaurants, a very large kids outdoor play are and free car park, then the Van der Valk Beveren is the place to go. Check-in staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was modern, spacious and well furnished, the water pressure in the bathroom perfect for a nice shower after a long day of sightseeing. We had dinner at Ozzo, their Asian - sushi restaurant, and although service was a bit slow due to a very busy Saturday night, the food was of high quality. But the high point of our 1-night stay was breakfast. The quality and choice is something I have never seen anywhere in my long years of travelling: a large variety of breads and sweet pastries, cold sandwich spreads and salads, cheeses and cold cuts, hot foods (including freshly cooked fried eggs). If ever a hotel wanted to send their clients on their way feeling good, this certainly did it. On our way out, we were already thinking about what else we could visit in the region just so we could stay here again.

Zeer netjes allemaal, moderne kamers. Alles is goede staat. Restaurants ook prima.

Received an old room with mold in the bathroom. Gladly the front desk was helpful enough to change my room to a newer room which was good.

We selected this hotel for an overnight stopover as we wanted to be close to Antwerp without getting involved with driving in Antwerp. The free parking was a major attraction. We arrived much later than expected due to delays in Dover, so didn't have time to see the area or use a restaurant. The hotel spreads over several buildings with lots of doors to open and go through to get to some of the rooms. The room itself was OK. Some of the tiles were cracked but it was clean and had everything we needed to a certain point. The mattress was OK but an extra pillow would have been nice. It had a ridiculous coffee machine and 3 pods of coffee (one decaffeinated, one espresso and one something else). It produced a miniscule amount of coffee from each pod. How is that in any way adequate for 2 adults on an overnight stay? I'd actually brought coffee with me but without a kettle that was completely pointless. We didn't have breakfast as it was far too expensive. We asked the receptionist if there were any bakeries in the town that would be open on a Sunday morning. She said she didn't know! It turns out there are some excellent bakeries in Beveren selling a wide range of truly delicious pastries and a decent supermarket open on a Sunday. One thing we really, really liked was the child pack they put in the room for our grandson. That was a very nice touch. He was very happy with it.

Das erste Zimmer lag leider in unmittelbarer Nähe von 3 Kühlcontainer die sehr laut waren. Aber an der Rezeption angesprochen habe ich direkt ein anderes bekommen. Die Zimmer sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch sind sie gepflegt und sauber.

Zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. De kamer was wat verouderd (niet zoals op de foto's) en niet zo grondig gekuist, maar wel zeer ruim met een goed bed. Fijn dat er een zwembad aanwezig is met lange openingstijden.

Vissa rum ligger precis vid ytterdörrar som smäller långt in på kvällen och tidigt på morgnarna.

Bel hôtel à un emplacement très pratique sur axe Anvers -sint Niklaas. Grand parking, surclassé dans le nouveau bâtiment chambre de luxe bien isolée. Restauration sur place très bien, buffet petit déjeuner somptueux. Literie très bonne. Seule bémol : passage du train à proximité très bruyant dès le matin très tôt.

Beaucoup de travaux en cours. Logé dans la partie ancienne de l’hôtel.

Really nice hotel. Only problem was the “double bed” was two twins pushed together. Was in that crack all night. Not comfortable. Everything else about the hotel was great. Make sure to check the kind of bed you are getting

Hotel is vlot bereikbaar. Voldoende parking in de omgeving, elektrisch laden is geen probleem. Verder genoeg mogelijkheden om te eten. De kamer zelf bevond zich in de zone 4, dit waren duidelijk oudere kamers. Ze waren netjes en functioneel maar je merkt dat o.a. de badkamer wel verouderd is met de witte tegels en radiator. Alles was proper.

I had a junior suite which was lovely. It was the furthest form the reception however, and that is a long way! Service at breakfast was not good, but the Asian restaurant had fantastic service. Reception was also very friendly and happy.

Personnel tres aimable spécialement a l’accueil

Great stat, staff very welcoming, and when we ordered food for delivery reception held it for us. Aircon wasn’t working in the first room but they moved us rooms within 5 mins which wasn’t a problem for us and very thankful. Car park was quite full but goes quiet once restaurants close.

The place is very nice and the staff are really kind and amazingly helpful.

There is a lot of like about this hotel, the service is exceptional, and they offer a comfortable stay for us and our dog. The range of TV channels in the room was a bonus, and the room facilities were pretty good, and spacious too in the new block. We were quite impressed with the Jardin restaurant, we preferred it to The nest. It was a good base for us to explore Ghent and Antwerp from. However, the areas that let it down are the location, it is not a pretty setting, next to a train line, large electricity pylons and right next to a large busy road. Nothing very easily in walking distance. We found the drain in our shower quite smelly at times, which is a shame as the block is quite new. And while spacious and well equipped, the style of the rooms was a little stark for our taste save for a random large lion picture, but this is a personal preference. There is a 'dog tax' if you like, but unlike most other hotels nothing is provided for that fee, no dog bowls or bedding in our room.

We have stayed in this hotel about four times. It continues to impress and get better. Everything is well-done and satisfying. This is a really pleasant place close to Antwerp, but in the country.

We verbleven 1 nachtje in het hotel. Prima. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid en ontzettend lekker. Dagje naar de mooie stad Gent en Antwerpen geweesr. Beide prima te doen vanaf het hotel.

Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Es ist etwas schwieriger zu erreichen ohne Auto, aber es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Zum Zimmer selbst: Es war sauber, im Schrank gab es einen Safe, einen Minikühlschrank, der mit Wasser gefüllt war, und sogar einen Kaffee-/Teeautomaten. Dem Service ist ebenfalls nichts auszusetzen. Wer es sich leisten kann, dem kann ich die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

Værelserne er skønne og hotellet er dejligt med pool og restauranter, legeplads osv. Desværre skuffer maden. Den dyre morgenmad har mange ting, men der mangler fx grøn te, mulighed for latte med laktosefrie mælkealternativer og generelt at få lavet noget lækkert frisklavet. Dog er der juice mans elv kan presse. Aftensmaden var meget skuffende (på asiatisk restaurant).

Net hotel met diverse restaurants. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Ein Hotel in das man gerne wieder kommt. Schöne große Zimmer, sehr praktische Nasszellen. Mehrere Restaurants, Wellness etc. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
