The Den Hotel

Great for a short stay in Wrigley. Perfect location for cubs games and a very short walk to the train for downtown.

I really liked the location, close to Belmont Purple Line (this matters as the Blue line doesn't go through) Clean, and although the property isn't staffed they were responsive.

Easy in and out. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a good shower. Nowhere to set your suitcase or hang clothes though. Very small space, worked for us because we were not really in the room. Clean and nicely taken care of though. Felt safe and comfortable.

Note there's functionally no staff, and I saw/interacted with no people during my stay. Which is great.

This was a nicely kept, recently renovated room and bathroom. However it was small with limited space to hang or unpack clothing. There were limited amenities, no Kleenex, for example, and there was not even a chair to sit on, just the bed. It had a very nice, clean, newly renovated kitchen where you could make coffee or cook if you wanted. It was in a great location with easy access to Wrigley Field and many restaurant choices. If I were only staying one or two nights, it would have been perfect. For a longer stay, it was a bit limited. Communication with the owners was easy, and the electronic access was very convenient.
