Our stay was brief but we had a nice night at the inn. The inn is inside the Volcano village so next to the restaurants and the general store.

Rustic setting & basic accommodations. Lots of space. Nice having kitchen available. Mattresses need upgraded or thick mattress pads added. Would also recommend removing the old combination key lock on the front door as it was a bit confusing when we got there late at night until we noticed the electronic keypad.

The place needs some TLC. For example, the ceiling light in the hallway was missing the glass shade. Our bathroom light only had bulbs in 2 or the 4 sockets. Paint should be touched up. And breakfast was absolute bare minimum. I threw away an orange that had turned green but was still in the fruit bowl.

Stayed 3 nights

Room is nice, big and clean, but this place doesn’t feel welcoming. Arrivals at door but code not working even the host is right there in living room won’t open door for us. Had to pay the fee first then a new code sent to me. Before I use the new code the host opened the door. First thing heard from him was kids not welcome and they like to be quiet even we don’t have any kids. We stayed 3 nights, room never cleaned, had to ask for fresh towels. Location is good, very close to volcano national park. Entrance is bit hard to see if coming dark.
