Ask for ground floor! Stairs were steep and more than a single story high. No coffee or breakfast provided—I travel with a Kerig and cereal but that was more trips up those awful stairs! Place was beautiful—gardens, room, outside seating areas in garden, bath had Jacuzzi tub and skylight. Very quiet—never heard other guests. Not a place for children which I appreciate as an older traveler. Would stay here again. This is the nicest and safest place in town. Be sure to notice living room when you check in—office is in front room of private hacienda. It’s fabulously decorated.

This is a hard review for me. The grounds of the hotel were extremely beautiful, the rooms were very spacious (crazy big), checking in and out was easy, and the staff were really nice. Now for the bad part. I think this place hired handymen to do repairs that didn’t care about quality, didn’t know what they were doing and made a mess of things. Also, the A/C to the room had a sign “Do Not Use”. They a portable fan thing to use instead. Which meant the room did not get cooler than 75 degrees. Like I said the rooms are big. They need proper A/C. The staff were really nice, but I needed smaller bills to tip housekeeping and they could not find any money to change a twenty.
