Quiet hotel in Villeneuve that is well located to walk into town. Also a great location to visit Avignon. The property is beautiful and well maintained. They serve an excellent breakfast. Parking is easy either in front of the property or in the surrounding area.

Meget svært at kommunikere når personalet i receptionen ikke kan engelsk. Hotellet mangler virkelig at blive vedligeholdt og samtidig manglede specielt haven det. Der var ukrudt alle vejen og der manglede at blive fejet over det hele. Poolen var beskidt og igen var der ukrudt over der hele. Vores suite havde en lille terrasse men buskene omkring manglede beskæring så man kunne ikke sidde der samtidighed var have møblerne ikke blevet tørret af længe. Da vi så skulle tjekke ud blev vi præsenteret for en regning på 75€ fra restauranten selvom vi på intet tidspunkt havde spist der. På regningen fremgik at den vedrørte bord nr 1 - og vi boede i værelse nr 1. Blev endda lige en ekstra gang spurgt om vi nu var sikre på vi ikke havde spist der. Vi fik dog overbevist personalet og skulle ikke betale. Nå der er sagt så var beliggenheden fik og der var mange gode restauranter i byen.

Generelt en god oplevelse. Det første værelse vi fik tildelt var ikke rent. Fik dog hurtigt et nyt rent værelse. Hotellet er noget slidt og trænger til en overhaling og nogle komfortting på værelset. Bl.a. ladestik og bedre belysning ved spejl, flere bøjler i skabet og et lille køleskab, som mangler meget når det er varmt. Det har potentiale til at blive rigtig fint.

The room is a nightmare. It hasn\'t been cleaned properly and the furniture was old and full of stains. There was already a bad smell when entering the room and the first impression didn\'t get better. There was mold in the shower and the fittings seemed not been cleaned for ages. The toilet had staines and lime depositions. In the bathroom closets we found make up from guests before and a dirty towel. The air conditioning didn\'t work properly so it was quite warm in the room. The pillows had a very bad smell.The balcony looked as if it has never been cleaned. And this all in a so called "luxury room". Over all, very poor...

The property has beautiful grounds. However, we were put in the older section which is decorated with French charm, but has not been kept up. We were two women traveling alone, and the room had a door to a patio that was shared with the next room and a staircase leading to the open parking lot. That door would not lock. It would appear to lock, but you could push it open from the outside. It did have a wooden shutter you could close, but it wasn’t that secure and they would open it when they cleaned the room. When the lock was brought to the staff’s attention, they dismissed the complaint because it “locked from the inside,” ignoring that anyone could enter from the outside. The room was listed as having a shower, so I’d expect some type of mount for the shower head, not just a tub with a handheld shower head. The tub faucet with the handheld head was adjacent to the vanity and had no curtain/glass, so water would spray your belongings on the counter. The tub and door in the bathroom had obvious mold and mildew. Additionally, upon arrival the clerk ran a 100€ deposit, rather than a pending charge, for incidentals and said the difference would be credited back. But at checkout I had to pay incidentals separately (the bill was wrong) & when asked about the 100€ she said he shouldn’t have charged me. Hopefully I get that money back. Finally, the food did not match the quality of other comments/reviews. It was mediocre at best.

La chambre était superbe et très propre. Le parking gratuit, devant, très étroit, il vaut mieux se garer dans la rue. Pas de rideaux occultants, et un énorme lampadaire devant ma chambre, très pénible la nuit, cela m'a empêché de bien dormir. On m'a proposé de dîner sur place. J'étais la seule cliente, il n'y avait plus qu'un choix. Pas d'anticipation, pas de nourriture, cheminée éteinte alors que c'était en janvier, pourquoi proposer de dîner?

IRL lever hotellet inte upp till bilderna som finns på nätet som jag gissar är tagna för en del år sen. Lite slitet och halvdåligt städat o allmänt skött. Fantastisk trädgård, men förra årets löv låg fortfarande kvar bla där där man åt frukost. Rummen luktade innestängda o första rummet vi fick hade kraftig mögellukt i badrummet. Andra rummet bättre, men fortfarande låg en viss unkenhet/fukt över det nya rummet. Poolområdet var lika ledes dåligt städad (men ren pool). Poolöverdraget i lamell hade däremot nog inte sett något översyn på ett par år eller fyra. Frukost var bra, dock saknades t.ex. lite nötter och/eller frön till müslin. Annars nära många trevliga områden att utforska med goda restauranger, mm. Lätt att ta sig in till Avignon (med bil).

This property is situated across the river from Avignon proper in Villeneuve. This town has a charm all its own with a great antique market on Sundays. The hotel grounds and terraces could use a little love and upkeep. Our room was on the larger side as we booked to ensure this. While the bath had a shower attachment there was no shower curtain or door just the tub with the shower attachment. This is typical in Europe but, be aware if this is bothersome for you. A bonus in the bath was the heated floor. Also, the toilet is not part of the bathroom but across the actual living space so this was inconvenient especially at night. There is parking in a typically tight parking garage that you find around Europe. The staff is lovely and helpful. Overall, we liked this property but would love to see the outside cleaned and tended.

This property was amazing. It is on the outskirts of busy Avignon. It is a short walk to mumerous cafes, restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely accomodating and cordial. Rooms were a good size and nicely appointed. Having the pool on the property with beautiful grounds was amazing. Breakfast was great with numerous options. If you want a quieter place just outside the busy city, this is your place.

The property has beautiful grounds. However, we were put in the older section which is decorated with French charm, but has not been kept up. We were two women traveling alone, and the room had a door to a patio that was shared with the next room and a staircase leading to the open parking lot. That door would not lock. It would appear to lock, but you could push it open from the outside. It did have a wooden shutter you could close, but it wasn’t that secure and they would open it when they cleaned the room. When the lock was brought to the staff’s attention, they dismissed the complaint because it “locked from the inside,” ignoring that anyone could enter from the outside. The room was listed as having a shower, so I’d expect some type of mount for the shower head, not just a tub with a handheld shower head. The tub faucet with the handheld head was adjacent to the vanity and had no curtain/glass, so water would spray your belongings on the counter. The tub and door in the bathroom had obvious mold and mildew. Additionally, upon arrival the clerk ran a 100€ deposit, rather than a pending charge, for incidentals and said the difference would be credited back. But at checkout I had to pay incidentals separately (the bill was wrong) & when asked about the 100€ she said he shouldn’t have charged me. Hopefully I get that money back. Finally, the food did not match the quality of other comments/reviews. It was mediocre at best.

Excellent staff and service! The property is so so beautiful! My only complaints were that the AC was not very strong for sleeping at night. But otherwise, a wonderful stay and a hotel I recommend!

Lovely garden and patio. Huge room. Would have liked a fridge in room. Coffee and tea in room, but strangely no milk ! Had to go down to reception every morning. No ice machine either. Had to go down to the kitchen. No elevator. Very friendly accommodating staff.

The staff was outstanding. The desk clerk on duty when we checked in was gracious enough to carry a piece of luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. The hostess, Nathalie, friendly, professional and very kind. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Wonderful property, lovely spacious interiors, expansive gardens, and pool. Great neighborhood.

Meget svært at kommunikere når personalet i receptionen ikke kan engelsk. Hotellet mangler virkelig at blive vedligeholdt og samtidig manglede specielt haven det. Der var ukrudt alle vejen og der manglede at blive fejet over det hele. Poolen var beskidt og igen var der ukrudt over der hele. Vores suite havde en lille terrasse men buskene omkring manglede beskæring så man kunne ikke sidde der samtidighed var have møblerne ikke blevet tørret af længe. Da vi så skulle tjekke ud blev vi præsenteret for en regning på 75€ fra restauranten selvom vi på intet tidspunkt havde spist der. På regningen fremgik at den vedrørte bord nr 1 - og vi boede i værelse nr 1. Blev endda lige en ekstra gang spurgt om vi nu var sikre på vi ikke havde spist der. Beautiful room, lovely grounds, desk staff and dining servers were amazing--great for dinner. But don't yell at the guests for using a wine glass for a juice glass when you have no other drinkware available. The dining service manager was rude, pushy and she did not hestitate to come over to our table and scold me like I was a child. I'm 60. If I want orange juice, I'll use whatever drinkware is available, and if that's a wine glass, so be it. I'm a guest, not your employee.

Das Hotel sieht auf den Bilder ganz anders aus. Einer der Männer an der Rezeption war komplett überfordert und sprach absolut kein Englisch. Der Garten wirkte ungepflegt. Es war zu wenig Personal da. Am Montag gab keine Handtücher am Pool, angeblich alle in der Reinigung. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen, weil unser Zimmer entsprach absolut nicht der Beschreibung. Auch das Frühstück war sehr enttäuschend, es gab nur eine Mitarbeiterin, die sehr überfordert war. Bei Frühstück mußte man sich selbst bedienen. Auch die Qualität der Speisen ist verbesserungswürdig. Die Speisen wurden nur sehr verzögert nachgefüllt. Der Zimmerservice war gut. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist in die Jahre gekommen.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from the shopping and dining district of "new" Avignon (across the river from the "old" walled city). Beautiful grounds and courtyard, peaceful setting, very helpful staff, and a diverse group of guests.Get a room with a balcony facing the courtyard/gardens if you can! It's not as convenient to the walled city but we had a car and drove to the walled city and surrounding cities with relative ease. The hotel was a peaceful respite at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Thumbs up!

This is a truly peaceful place. Rooms face a lovely garden large enough for strolling, tables, and pétanque. The hotel is a bit of a longer stroll to the old main center of Villenueve Les Avignon, possibly 10 minutes. We loved the Avignon on the other side of the river because of the quiet and lack of hustle and bustle that tourists bring to Avignon proper.

Mooi gebouw, kamer prima, restaurant is geen restaurant maar een soort dure snack. Tuin mooi maar geen gezelligheid. Niemand aanwezig terwijl foto’s anders doen vermoeden. Te duur voor de ambiance. Ver van Avignon en hotel heeft geen fietsen. Valt echt wat van te maken maar doen ze niet.

Flott hotell til en god pris. Denne lille byen er veldig koselig med mange gode restauranter. Hotellets restaurant var stengt. Frokosten på hotellet og den litt eldre frokostvertinnen var en helt fantastisk opplevelse. Maten er noe av det bedre vi har spist til frokost og vi reiser mye. Frokostservitøren var veldig hyggelig og lagde god stemning. Hun er en drømmeansatt og man får lyst til å komme tilbake hit - og det gjør vi helt sikkert.
Flott hotell til en god pris. Denne lille byen er veldig koselig med mange gode restauranter. Hotellets restaurant var stengt. Only negative thing was that the restaurant was only serving tapas and was closed our two last nights. Also would have liked a boiler for water and coffee in the room. The hotel was beautiful and it’s location perfect! Staff super nice and the room one of the best I’ve ever been in! Highly recommended!

Wow ! Cet hôtel est une belle découverte. Personnel sympathique et accueillant à l’écoute de vos besoins. Nous avions demandé du pain sans gluten pour le matin et le tout était déjà prêt pour le petit-déjeuner. Le brunch est délicieux le matin. Je recommande. Piscine propre et bien aménagée avec transat, parasol et beans bag. La cour est de toute beauté avec un jeu /terrain de pétanque. Chambre, nous avons eu la suite familiale. Très bien. Les enfants avaient leur chambre avec des lits jumeaux. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel !

Måtte vente på værelset i ca to timer Poolen var grøn på bunden af alger Det mangler generelt vedligeholdelse Aftensmaden tema med en ret som blev serveret en time for sent og vi måtte bede om tallerkner da det var blevet glemt og maden var brændt og utilstrækkelig måtte køre ud i byen får at spise Morgen/ frokost servitricen var derimod fantastisk

This was a lovely surprise - such a nice hotel with a lovely garden - very spacious accommodation - huge bathroom - fairly limited menu but good value - red wine was a bit disappointing - rose & beer were fine. Sat nat took us on a not very easy route to hotel but exiting was easier. Very pleasant staff. -very relaxed ambiance. The pool in a different area had railings around it so not so appealing to sit around. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
