Wundervolles, sehr sauberes Hotel mit großer, geräumiger Parkgarage (15EUR pro Nacht) und kostenlosen Parkplätzen im Innenhof. Lademöglichkeiten für E-Autos gibt es in der Tiefgarage ebenfalls. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Galerie, welches sehr modern und großzügig gestaltet war. Das Highlight ist das üppige Frühstücksbuffet mit vielen ausgemachten Produkten in hervorragender Qualität. Insgesamt war das Ambiente im Hotel sehr angenehm und entspannt. Wir freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Clean modern hotel within a 5 minute walk to the nearest S-bahn station with direct links into central Munich. Superb breakfast with a complete range on continental options. 24-hour coffee area and bar on-site with lots of nearby restaurants around the hotel. Chose a sleeps 4-5 room which was possible, but the room was open plan with a mezzanine level for the 2 single beds. I would suggest that you do check out the layout.

Always a great experience. This family-run hotel blends traditional charm with modern comfort and is centrally located in the lovely suburb of Trudering. The beds are comfortable, and both the rooms and property are impeccably maintained. The breakfast buffet is a dream — and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of Herr Obermaier Sr., the founder, during breakfast. The hotel also features a cozy bar and an on-site traditional beer garden. Its convenient location provides easy access to downtown Munich via the S-Bahn. We come every year and will continue this tradition. Highly recommend this property.

Gemessen an den Sternen und Leistungen ist es für mich das beste Hotel in der Preisklasse, welches ich bislang in München hatte. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet und auf dem Flur kann man sich rund um die Uhr am Kaffee-und Teetisch bedienen. Kleiner Abzug lediglich für etwas viel Hellhörigkeit.

Ich habe meine Eltern in dem Hotel Obermaier einquartiert. Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Atmosphäre und super Bar. Das Zimmer im Traditionshaus war schon recht veraltet. Vor allem fehlten dort Ablage Möglichkeiten im Zimmer wie auch im Bad. Keine Stühle oder Bank oder ähnliches. Auch war die Zimmerlampe komplett mit Staub besetzt. Ansonsten sehr geräumig und sauber. Zur größten Enttäuschung konnte der Empfang leider kein Wort deutsch, an keinen der Tage. Dies ist insbesondere bei älteren Menschen, welche der Englischen Sprache nicht mächtig sind, nicht zumutbar. Es kamen mehrere Fragen auf, welche vom Empfangspersonal aufgrund fehlender Deutschkenntnisse nicht beantwortet werden konnte und nur auf Englisch geantwortet wurde. Bei einem familiären Traditionshotel sollte man erwarten können, dass das Personal am Empfang auch die Landessprache beherrscht! Wirklich sehr schade. Ich werde dort nicht mehr buchen.

Very nice hotel, very clean rooms, excellent traditional Bavarian breakfast buffet, and free parking. The hotel is located a 20 minute train ride from Marienplatz in Munich making it very convenient if you don't want to take your car into the city. The area around the hotel is nice, a little suburb of Munich and felt quite safe. Highly recommend if you want to visit Munich.

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und gross ,hat uns beim Betreten jedoch mit einem unangenehmen Geruch empfangen. Die Klimaanlage war ohrenbetäubend. Wir mussten die Klimaanlage hochschrauben, damit sie nicht mehr arbeiten musste……und wir schlafen konnten.

Unfortunately we had a room in the roof area, it was not possible to stand up on one side of the bed as the roof was incredibly low. The bathroom was also a problem as I am a tall person. We were offered a change of room for more money, this made a mockery of the VIP room upgrade benefit.

Zeer fijn hotel in Munchen op geringe afstand van het centrum wanneer men openbaar vervoer neemt. Station is op loopafstand en een dagkaart kost niet veel. Wij hadden een fijne ruime familiekamer met 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen.

Wij hadden een upgrade gedaan van kamer. Echter kwamen in een kamer pal aan de straat met veel verkeer, het bed kraakt enorm wat de nachtrust verstoorde en de douche was super klein. Al met kwa kamer een tegenvaller. Gelukkig wel een goed ontbijt en 's avonds bij het inchecken een aardige dame die ons een welkomstdrankje aanbood. Parkeren is eenvoudig als er een plek is.

Gute Anbindung an den Öffentlichen Nahverkehr. In ca. 25min mit Bus und U-Bahn bis in die Münchner Innenstadt zum Marienplatz. Geräumige Zimmer, jedoch die Milchglastür in den Badezimmern war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und ausgewogen. Die Speiseräume sind typisch bayrisch und urig. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Great place to stay at munich , we had a car and the location is a short drive to almost every main attraction. We are family of 5 and the room was spacious comfortable and very clean , just perfect. The placeis even better than the pics on the listing. Good breakfast !

We visiting during Oktoberfest and arrived the night the staff was a bit short handed. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We stayed in a secondary building and it was starting to show some wear. No air conditioning, would have been nice the nights we were there.

Es war NUR ok. Zimmer mehr als klein, das Badezimmer in Miniaturformat. Essen reichlich beim Frühstück. Wenn man zwei Spiegeleier will heißt es nein und über die Art und weiße von den Mitarbeitern lässt sich streiten. Beim Empfang und beim Auschecken völlige Gleichgültigkeit beim Personal.

Ruhige Unterkunft trotz zentralerLage (viele Geschäfte, Banken und Gastronomien im Umkreis. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer geräumig hat alles im Gutesn Zustand und ist sehr sauber.

Hotel Obermaier is in a quiet neighborhood in East Munich with easy access to the trains. ( 8-10 minute walk) The hotel and staff were great and our room was large. I would definitely stay here again on any future trips to Munich.

We loved our stay at Hotel Obermaier! It has a traditional Bavarian feel and decor - warm, cozy, and welcoming. The rooms were clean and modern. The lobby was so cozy we sat out there and had drinks and played cards at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an incredible selection at breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to the train station into downtown Munich (20 minutes to downtown).

I thought the hotel was closer to the older part of the city but it was a 20-30 minute subway ride. Still easily accessible as long as your are mobile. Love the quaint hotel and the little town surrounding the hotel. Enjoyed some great asian fusion food one night. Stayed 2 evenings and enjoyed the WONDERFUL Breakfast (make sure you go down to the lower level where there is more food other than the breads on the top floor). It was quite aways from the airport and a $109 uber ride but would stay here again. Staff were GREAT !!

Ideaal gelegen om München stad te bezoeken. Met de U2 vanuit Thuringen bahnhof. Dat is 20 minuten lopen. Dagkaart gepakt die voor de avond ook diende om vanuit het hotel naar het concert van Adele te geraken. Met bus 139 die stopt voor het hotel. Airco werkte niet goed. Dat was een stevig minpunt bij 30 graden. Ontbijtzaal in de ochtend was te druk en veel wespen.
