Studio M Hotel Singapore

Hotel has good amenities, gym, pool etc. breakfast was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. Main downside was the cleanliness of the room. The room had a strong smell of damp and walking by another room, it also had the same smell.

The pool, the gym, and the lounge area on the second floor are nice and relaxing. They are all outdoor but very well cleaned and maintained and pleasant. But the hotel floor we stayed smelled like very strong perfume while the room smelled damp and unpleasant. We got used to it after a few days but every time I opened the door, it smelled. Maybe it is inevitable because the region is always extremely humid and hot.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time I have stayed here and it checks most boxes usually. Convenient location, good selection of restaurants below the hotel, swimming pool is decent. All in all a good option to stay while in Singapore.

Estúdio muitíssimo bem localizado ao lado do Rio Singapura com vários bares e restaurantes. Fica 10 minutos do centro. Hotel de bom nível com quartos não muito grandes mas que atende muito bem. Tanto a cama de casal quanto a de solteiro que fica no andar superior estavam ótimas. Banheiro separados e bons. Home office na parte superior do quarto. Café da manhã muito bom também e posso dizer que valeu a pena passar duas noites aqui. Tem academia, piscina e uma área muito ampla e bonita próximo a piscina e onde se toma o café da manhã. Pode vir sem receio. Li alguns comentários antes esperando meu check in que foi antes do horário e não encontrei nenhum ponto negativo que mencionaram em alguns comentários

Good location, great pool and outdoor area, good breakfast and was upgraded. But the hotel is in great need of renovation. Rooms and hallways are really tired - stained ripped and chipped tiles and carpet and flaking paint everywhere. And messy, no one was vacuuming. Plus the air freshener was very overwhelming, giving me a headache.

Appreciate the daily room clean and the complimentary water and towels in the gym and swimming pool. The self service laundromat is useful but slightly pricey. Given that Singaporeans are known for their friendliness, the receptionists staff could do with some addittional training on this aspect. The room space is perfect for one but could be a struggle for three. The soft bed keeps rolling out when being used as a sofa. The location and entertaining are all within walking distance of the property but in the scotching sun, it may not be comfortable. Also, care should be put towards the shower head cleaning moulds were spotted. Also housekeep should check the toiletries as I ran out of showel gel. Neverthless, my stay was pleasant and may use the hotel again.

So you can change after gym session and go straight to the pool. Service and the personnel were super friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay, thank you!

Somewhat close to Chinatown area, while you need to go up and down the overpass stairs. It is not close to the Metro and it is inconvenient to get to the sightseeing hub. The facility in the hotel closes very quickly and there are no bathroom on the 1st or lobby area. If you checked out, then you are out of your luck. It is so hard to check in to the hotel, since you have to do all the registration on your phone. The lobby is so tiny that it becomes like a zoo often. There are not enough seats for anyone in the lobby to sit.

Hotel is pretty run-down. Paint and wallpaper peeling in the corridors. Housekeeping trolley stored in corridor by rooms overnight. Terrible smell from the shower.

The hotel provides very limited service. I would not consider it a 4-star property; it is closer to a 3-star business hotel with heavy reliance on self-service. The in-room AI assistant is essentially non-functional — it gives only one response and cannot continue a conversation. For example, it was unable to advise how to turn the air conditioning on or off. On the day of check-in, no one answered the phone from morning onwards. I was calling to inquire about a paid early check-in arrangement. There was no response, including from the duty manager. Later, I was told the hotel was very busy and fully booked. However, being too busy to answer guest calls should not be the customer’s problem. Although Shirley from front-office trying to help as much as she can and giving me 1 hour check-in in advance. The team seems to be under staffed. Room maintenance is also poor. For two consecutive mornings, the toilet had a strong drainage smell, likely due to the age of the building. The toilet may require a pan collar replacement to address this issue. The flush handle appears very old and poorly maintained, and the exterior walls show visible green mold, which is noticeable even from outside the building. The towel handle in the bathroom is too high for normal people to reach. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There is a significant gap between the hotel’s marketing and the actual condition and service provided.

The bath room was very smelly and towels were not clean enough. Finally I got one cockroach in the room... Hotel place is very convenient, but check-in counter was always long queue and web-registration was also very troublesome...I guess I don't choose for next time.

A extremely terrible hotel, stains on bed sheets. I moved out after 1 night and show the photos to the manager. Yet they refuse to refund. They change another room but also stain on the bed.

Rooms were dirty. Very dirty. Could tell it hadn’t been deep cleaned in sometime. Staff friendly enough and convenient location.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! So much mold, I had chest pains, itchy skin and headaches. There was also a used condom on the floor of my shower. The hotel is also very popular among prostitutes.

Stayed a few times over last 3 years and this stay was a bit disappointing. Room was very under-standard compared to all my precedent experiences (mold, very humid and some lightbulbs broken, hot water reach after 15 mins of cold water !). Not sure if the hotel aged quickly and the standard lowered or if I got really unlucky this time. Breakfast remains very good

A studio room with desk and presumably bed settee upstairs. Very small toilet (!) but fully functional with wash basin in room. Separate shower. All clean. Very nice breakfast and firiendly staff. Well situated for Clarke Quay and tourist attractions. Easy taxi ride to airport.

Cleanliness was up to my expectation but room space limited for movements as it only fits to lay for 2 single beds. Amazing experience for having comfort and quiet sleep throughout the night. If you are away during the daytime and only spend the night to rest and sleep, it's fine otherwise space matters. TV was set to only show room WiFi password and unable to function for access to other channels.

Very small room, no place for more one case. More appropriate for single people. Up stairs extra room but difficult for older people climbing the stairs with a case. Area around excellent.

Nice rooms. Didn't have view of river. Just the opposite rooms. Seperate toilet to shower. However, both are quite small in space as compared to the rest of the room.

駅からは少し遠いですが、許容範囲内です。ところどころ部屋が汚れや損傷があります。 メゾネットタイプの部屋で魅力的ですが、2階がエアコンの吹き出し口でとても寒く、逆に1階は暑いです。その点だけ考慮して予約するのであれば良い選択肢になると思います。

A nice hotel and good for value, but expect the compact living and climbing up and down stairs as well as small spaces. Wouldn’t be good for a large sized person but I'd stay there again.

The rooms here are lofts. Didn't feel safe in the Premium Loft with upstairs bedroom due to low glass wall. You have to watch that you don't bump your head in several areas of the room. Location is good right by Robertson Quay with many restaurants steps away, although prices were quite high. Nice pool and breakfast area on Floor 2 and lovely to wander around at night. Fort Canning MRT 800m away.

Check in procedure is ridiculous and slow. Have to upload your own passport on phone.

Arrived at 3 pm and got assigned a room which was not what I booked. Was promised the right room once I’d be back from my meetings at 6pm, was then told to wait 30-40 minutes, had to wait 2 hours until I got my room at 8 pm. Was treated with an attitude at the bar when I asked for a tomato juice with the complimentary drink I received as compensation, and told I could only have a pineapple one. Long queues at the reception as everyone was complaining. I experienced staff and lack of process, which all results in wasting clients time.

Shirley from the express checkout counter helped me to check-in, and it was a fuss-free process. She also upgraded my room to the executive loft from premium for free, and was assigned a corner unit. It was my first time trying a loft which I longed to experience, and had an overall pleasant stay with Studio M.

The hotel and rooms are fine, but the check in process was really pour, we had to wait until 5pm to get the room.

Check-in is incredibly inconvenient. I already provided all the information when I made my reservation, but upon check-in, I had to fill it all out again, even taking photos. These unnecessary steps take up a lot of time, and many people have experienced long waits at check-in.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Special mentions for duty manager Jonathon and Ismail, Shirley and Rowena for their care and support towards myself and mother during a medical emergency.

Very hard to have human interaction. Unable to talk to reception - you need to stay in queue at least for 10 minutes.

The reception Team is super friendly and professional - Shirley above all - They really made my stay very special, AS ALWAYS. Well done guys, keep it up!

Great Access to Roberson Quay - Restaurants, Convenience Store and Clark Quay Central MRT. Within walking distance. Always easy to access Grab Ride. Room was compact - Studio Style but ok for Budiness Trip. Breakfast ok at L2 Breeze. Reasonable Room Rate as always through Hotels.com.

Very convenient location and great value for money. Close to Clarke Quay and other great locations, including MRT Stations. Will definitely use for future business and leisure trips to Singapore.

Hotel was located at Robertson Quay and the room had a beautiful river view. There were many restaurants within a 1 minute walk. We were able to walk all over Singapore based on its location.

Perfect central location to many attractions and eateries. Quiet neighborhood is a plus.

The breakfast buffet is good! Value for money! Distance to the nearby MRT station is a bit far, around 12-15min walk. The worse of all is the room design. The glass balustrade at the loft level is invisible and short of height, which could induce risk of falling off as one could not see it under the dim lighting at the night, or when one is not fully awaken while looking ways to toilet at midnight.

Amazing location near the River, walking distance to heaps of restaurants. Cannot fault the hotel, attentive staff, large range of breakfast options. One of the best I've stayed at in Singapore

Breakfast daily was an absolute nightmare. No coffee cups, no silverware, no plates, NO FOOD, &!NO JUICE. Not sure what I was paying for as we had to find an alternative source for breakfast daily. Additionally, the rooms are so backwards. An upstairs loft makes no sense as someone wants to come in and take their shoes off but has to sit on the bed with their dirty clothes to do so. Overall, very disappointed in the property.

This is the smallest hotel room ever. The toilet room is tiny, way too small even for a child. I prefer their French shower gel/ shampoo bottles to the small one available in hotels in Europe. The breakfast was not impressive and it gets crowded later (the signs warn you). The emergency exit door was almost completely blocked by a big scale and a motorcycle. They recommend us to use a taxi, and did not mention Grab. To Marina Bay you can walk along the river. In the morning they offer to do your laundry ('maybe around10S$ for a T-shirt'). We used a 24 h laundry in the public housing on the hill not too far from the hotel. Another plus: you get bottled water daily in the room or if you ask at reception. They try to be extremely effecient with express check in, which did not work in my case.

The studio is pretty neat and clean. No bidet in toilet, breakfast buffet need more selection. I've seen birds picked at the food since it's open area.
