We stayed as a family of four for four nights at the Real Marina Residence. It was easy to check in at the hotel which is a short walk from the complex. Our apartment was clean and spacious with all the mod cons. Ample toiletries were provided and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and although we didn’t have a sea view it was still pleasant. The rooftop area with the pool and sun loungers was a highlight - the pool was smaller than average and not heated but this was not a problem in the warm sunshine. It would probably feel a little crowded with more than one family but we were always the only ones up there which was perfect. We bought a few things which were not provided - liners for the bathroom bins, washing up liquid, kitchen sponges, etc. A colander would have been useful in the kitchen but other than that we had everything we needed. We liked having a gas hob which we don’t often come across in holiday apartments. The location of the apartment is great - a short walk into town, a large supermarket, the ferry harbour, and opposite is a complex of restaurants and a small but very fun arcade. We had a wonderful stay at the Real Marina Residence and would happily return.

My family and I, liked the hotel staff for good customer services. They met our needs without delay for instance when the initial appartment was not suitable (Stove was not working), the management changed our appartment in no time. Also the management was not relunctant to change our appartment again and gave us another opportunity to view another appartment when we found the new appartment they gave us not as big as our initial appartment. The staff were always available whenever we need their services for instance when we need them to show us how to operate the AC and TV. What we don't like about the hotel is that we are unable to use their swimming facilities because it was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool that is in the residence and we learnt bitter experience never to book hotel with outdoor swimming other than the summer season. It would have been very nice if the outdoor pool could be heated but it wasn't and therefore we learnt our lessons never to book hotel with outdoor swimmings other than their summer seasons.

Bon séjour appartement spacieux et très bien équipé. Cuisine complète avec four micro-ondes congélateur ainsi que la climatisation dans toutes les pièces. Une télévision moderne avec deux chaînes françaises mais la possibilité de caster depuis son téléphone mobile. On regrettera l'état de la piscine sur le toit qui ne correspond absolument pas aux photos du site. En effet c'est plutôt une piscinette dans un endroit plutôt défraîchi et dont je joins les photos à mon commentaire. Malgré tout nous retournerons sûrement dans cet établissement puisque la situation est idéale avec de nombreux restaurants et commerce à proximité.

Great apartments in a central location. Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of storage. There were 2 large bathrooms also one off the hallway and one ensuite off the master bedroom. Off the lounge area there was access to the balcony with a table with seating for 6 there was also a table inside with seating for 6 for when it was too hot to sit outside. Both bedrooms and the lounge had air-conditioning which worked really well. There were also shutters on all the windows which kept the light out in the morning and allowed us to sleep in. If anything the kitchen was a little under equipped it could of done with a few more utensils and there were only 3 wine and 3 beer glasses. We only ate in once though so not a problem. The pool are on the roof is nice for a dip but a little too small and shallow for a swim. The kids still loved it though. You can book into the Hotel to use the pool for the day this costs €35 per adult and you get to use the money at the hotel bar for drinks food and snacks. This was a really nice pool with a great view and the food was excellent also so well worth it. Checkin was delt with at the hotel reception which is not really made clear anywhere. All in all a great base for the week in Olaho which is a lovely traditional Algarve town with plenty of great restaurants and island beaches to explore.

Very large place , easy to walk to everything in town and central for driving anywhere in the western algarve for day trips . Towels and pillows are due for a refresh . One bathroom had a peculiar odor but the everything else was fine . Good overall value and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was immaculate. We were kindly upgraded to a stunning two bedroom apartment and we were even able to have a later checkout. We visited in December so there was not a lot to do nearby. However the local restaurants were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!

Das Appartement war Riesen groß…Küche mit allem was man braucht …Gewürze etc muss man schon mitbringen genauso wie geschirrhandtuch und Spüli. Es hat zwei vollwertige Bäder eins mit Dusche und 🚾 das andere mit Badewanne und Bidet. Einziges Manko …das Schlafsofa war zum schlafen einfach unbequem…. Esszimmer und Einbauschränke mit genügend Platz.Klimaheizgeräte im Schlafzimmer sowie im Wohnbereich. Wir haben inkl Frühstück gebucht. Empfehlenswert.

Great apartments in a central location. Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of storage. There were 2 large bathrooms also one off the hallway and one ensuite off the master bedroom. Off the lounge area there was access to the balcony with a table with seating for 6 there was also a table inside with seating for 6 for when it was too hot to sit outside. Both bedrooms and the lounge had air-conditioning which worked really well. There were also shutters on all the windows which kept the light out in the morning and allowed us to sleep in. If anything the kitchen was a little under equipped it could of done with a few more utensils and there were only 3 wine and 3 beer glasses. We only ate in once though so not a problem. The pool are on the roof is nice for a dip but a little too small and shallow for a swim. The kids still loved it though. You can book into the Hotel to use the pool for the day this costs €35 per adult and you get to use the money at the hotel bar for drinks food and snacks. This was a really nice pool with a great view and the food was excellent also so well worth it. Checkin was delt with at the hotel reception which is not really made clear anywhere. All in all a great base for the week in Olaho which is a lovely traditional Algarve town with plenty of great restaurants and island beaches to explore.

Great apartment, perfect position near restaurants and shops. The only issue we had was at the check in. We didn’t receive any instructions by email and the address we had was wrong. I asked for help to the Marina Residence Team using the whatsapp chat and I received a reply the following day. We spent one hour going around the main street looking for the residence (Google unfortunately confirmed the wrong address we had, and we didn’t know what to do!) We were just lucky to pop in and ask information at the Marina Hotel , and this was the place where we should have done the check in. Nobody told us. The staff of the hotel was always nice and helpful . The flat was great. You can be unlucky and find very noisy neighbours (this happened only the last night, a group of tourists next to us decided to party on the balcony until 4am) ; there isn’t a front desk, so you need to deal with it on your own. Olaho is very nice and close to wonderful beaches (Armona). Be careful to walk around the small hidden street of the village especially during the evening, because we had a couple of unpleasant situations when we refused to give money to some guys begging on the street, they started shouting at us and the second time a person tried to follow us after we got money at ATM. I suppose there is no place in the world where you can low your guard. Overall, a good experience.

It was modern and fully furnished! Ideally situated with a spacious balcony with sea views. Nothing was overlooked. Fully air conditioned with pool for two units. Will definitely be coming back to the Real Marina.

Very spacious 2 bed apartment. 5 min walk to shops/restaurants. Staff very helpful with welcome drink on check in. Olhão is a beautiful, unspoilt gem of the Algarve. A visit to Ilha Deserta & Estaminé restaurant is a must.

The apartment does not provide any housing services. Towels are old and fir any extra towel you have to pay, no tissue paper as well as no coffee or tea and simple things that you can use the kitchen. For us was useless to have full kitchen and we weren’t aware that those essential stuff would nit be provided. This wasn’t the first time we rented an apartment for vacation. Front desk staff are not responding to the call and the text messages. Poor experience overall!

We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was immaculate. We were kindly upgraded to a stunning two bedroom apartment and we were even able to have a later checkout. We visited in December so there was not a lot to do nearby. However the local restaurants were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!

We stayed as a family of four for four nights at the Real Marina Residence. It was easy to check in at the hotel which is a short walk from the complex. Our apartment was clean and spacious with all the mod cons. Ample toiletries were provided and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and although we didn’t have a sea view it was still pleasant. The rooftop area with the pool and sun loungers was a highlight - the pool was smaller than average and not heated but this was not a problem in the warm sunshine. It would probably feel a little crowded with more than one family but we were always the only ones up there which was perfect. We bought a few things which were not provided - liners for the bathroom bins, washing up liquid, kitchen sponges, etc. A colander would have been useful in the kitchen but other than that we had everything we needed. We liked having a gas hob which we don’t often come across in holiday apartments. The location of the apartment is great - a short walk into town, a large supermarket, the ferry harbour, and opposite is a complex of restaurants and a small but very fun arcade. We had a wonderful stay at the Real Marina Residence and would happily return.

The residences are self catering apartments a very short walk from the hotel (where you check in). The apartment was a bit on the tired side now but clean & huge! It had air con in the lounge & bedroom & electric shutters in those rooms too. Nothing is provided in the kitchen by way of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cloths etc, save for a tea towel, but there’s a Pingo or Aldi within reasonable walking distance. Close to a large selection of restaurants & bars. Ubers are easy to get hold of & if you have breakfast in the main hotel, there’s a very good choice there from the hot & cold buffet. Only 15 mins from the airport, would definitely return for a short break.

Das Appartement war Riesen groß…Küche mit allem was man braucht …Gewürze etc muss man schon mitbringen genauso wie geschirrhandtuch und Spüli. Es hat zwei vollwertige Bäder eins mit Dusche und 🚾 das andere mit Badewanne und Bidet. Einziges Manko …das Schlafsofa war zum schlafen einfach unbequem…. Esszimmer und Einbauschränke mit genügend Platz.Klimaheizgeräte im Schlafzimmer sowie im Wohnbereich. Wir haben inkl Frühstück gebucht. Empfehlenswert.

Moderne romslige leiligheter med fine bad. Sentral beliggenhet og nært hotellet der man kan spise frokost. Vi anbefaler den, absolutt verdt pengene. Olhao er en ferieby først og fremst for portugisere. Du slipper overfylte strender, men kan i stedet ta båtene ut til øyene i naturreservatet der du får leid solstoler og muligheter for å besøke greie og enkle restauranter. Byen er også spesiell med sine sjarmerende smug og små gater.

This was a really nice pool with a great view and the food was excellent also so well worth it. Checkin was delt with at the hotel reception which is not really made clear anywhere. All in all a great base for the week in Olaho which is a lovely traditional Algarve town with plenty of great restaurants and island beaches to explore.

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights ar Real Marine Residence. The two bedroom flat was excellent. We had a everting what we need for our stay. The only things that we could not take advantage was the roof top swiming pool due to the weather. The staff were very kind and helpfull. We paid for breakfast for duration of our stay and we was given one day free breakfast. We really enjoy our stay and will recomended this hotel to our freinds

We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was immaculate. We were kindly upgraded to a stunning two bedroom apartment and we were even able to have a later checkout. We visited in December so there was not a lot to do nearby. However the local restaurants were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!

We were delighted with the property and location. The only downside we found was motorbikes racing up and down the road outside apartment blocks all during the night reving their engines enough to waken you.
