One morning without hot water. Last day whole hotel lost power

This was a great place to stay for my short trip in Madrid, but I can see it being even more conventient for longer stays given all the amenities in the room including the kitchen and washing machine. Everything was in great shape. but a few things to note: the code I was given did not work. Luckily I arrived during the day when there was a staff member at the desk and she was able to help. Also, as a light sleeper I thought the noises from the hallway including beeping noises of the doors being unloocked were a bit disruptive, and there was also a vaccuum noise on Sunday morning when I was trying to sleep. The windows also don't get completely dark, and there was a green light on the ceiling that was blinking at night, but I wore an eye mask.

Issues: - The unfrosted, clear bathroom window had no internal nor external blinds, so there was little privacy, especially at night with the light on. It's true that the nearest buildings with a clear view of the bathroom were quite far, but still uncomfortable for many guests, I'm sure. - The pricing of the rooms was very misleading; advertised at around 120 Euro per night making it appear competitive with modestly-priced hotels nearby, but then 100 Euro of unspecified "taxes and fees" were added to the bill. If reserving a room here, check the total price you'll be charged to avoid a shock. Otherwise, a very luxurious and comfortable room, with separate living room/kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, clearly very new. The kitchen was very well-equipped, including dishwasher and washing machine, coffee machine with 2 pods provided, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, etc. I didn't interact with any staff at all - all communications were via email and keycodes provided to enter the building, room, and access WiFi. This was all very efficient but impersonal. The tiny reception desk was unstaffed whenever I passed it. Very nice accommodation, but verify what you'll be charged.

Had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the washer/dryer. Loved the location. Restaurants, groceries, beautiful park nearby
