Comfortable bed and swimming pool was good. I took a broken shower head to reception and requested another one, they just put back the broken one. I was about to watch international rugby match in the lounge area which I had discussed with the landlady. No one else was there, but just 20 minutes before kick off the landlord walked in and put cycling on the tv, so I took myself to my room to watch it. I was over charged for a breakfast I didn’t have. No signs on the electric car charger to state the rates but one of my charges was very expensive. Breakfast was terrible, the waiter just stands around leaving dirty dishes on every table to gather flies. There was always something run out. On my last day I asked if they had more bacon and he brought out some that had clearly just been microwaved. No eggs though, they ran out of those. There isn’t enough parking for all the customers, I ended up parking way down on the owners driveway which felt awkward and was inconvenient. Could be good if they improved their customer service.

We had a lovely stay in Samoens. The lodge room was perfect, clean with all amenities you need. The hotel has easy parking and is in walking distance to the town. Swimming pool and facilities all great. Would definitely come back.
