Difficult to find, off Las Ramblas, but a good location. The area around the hotel is very noisy with people walking the narrow street until very late into the night (4:00 am). Small room, newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast was a buffet and good. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all questions and inquiries! There is a lounge near the front desk that provides space to relax and plan your day.

This was a nice hotel with clean rooms and helpful staff. They watched our bags when we arrived early and called us a taxi to be there at 6:30 am when we needed to head to the airport. I would stay there again.

I like the staff service and support but I think they need to inform that the area nearby is under construction. Rooms need to add more amenities like other chains (water for example). Elevators are very narrow. But again, the staff is very supportive.

Great location, walking distance to so much stuff. The room was nice and clean, i do suggest getting a 3 bed room if you want more space. Nice breakfast, not to many choices but it was nice not having to spend that additional money. Also they will store your luggage if you arrive early.

Great location. Walkable with suit cases from cruise ship terminal blue bus shuttle. (Bus loop by Columbus statue) Just off of the base of La Rambla. Secure storage room for your luggage with resting area if you arrive early and need to get organized. Helpfull friendly staff. Quiet clean modern room. Good breakfast included. 100 restaurants within waliking distance. Taxi to or from airport is best choice.

This hotel is just off of La Rambla which a nice tourist spot with lots of gift shops , restaurants and always bustling with people . Hotel is very clean , rooms are renovated and look quite new. It is in Gothic quarter which is filled with hundreds of eateries . The hotel is in pedestrian friendly narrow street so no vehicular noise . Rooms are cleaned nicely . Decent breakfast and hotel has an elevator and also has air conditioning . Bathroom is neat and clean . Area is safe . There are people well until late night . Stores are open well past midnight .

Excellent location, close to metro, very clean, sustainable, comfy beds, great multilingual staff. We could store our luggage, we’re able to check in early. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The kitchen staff works really hard to restock and keep the dining hall clean and organized. Enjoyed our stay. It’s nice to be in the central area - we could walk around, come to rest in our room with an AC and then go back to exploring the beautiful city. There is a lot of restaurants, shops, convenience stores and supermarkets close by. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a waste basket in the bathroom.

Met all expectations….clean, safe, good breakfast and very well located to get around. First time for us in Barcelona and it was perfect!! Rooms are small but that is expected. No issues for two of us. ONLY suggested improvement is with the showers….somebody decided a 1/3 glass wall to act as the “door” was a good idea….its not. Bathroom floor was drenched after each shower but overall didn’t take away from quality of hotel. Great spot.

La habitación muy pequeña y no habia donde poner las maletas de 3 personas, encontramos una chinche en la cama. Se la llevamos a recepción y nos pregunto si habíamos abierto la ventana??? Y que iban a revisar pero toda la noche algo picaba en el cuerpo. Las camas muy aguadas, no nos gusto

I chose this property because of its location. It was within walking distance to La Rambla, La Boqueria, Plaça de Catalunya and Gothic Quarter. Location was ideal. Amenities especially the breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Lots of pastries, boiled eggs, bacon, coffee and juices. Room was quite clean and staff was great. Only negative of room 212 we had was the shower. There’s no shower door so it gets flooded after every shower regardless of how careful you try to be. A shower curtain could easily remedy this.

The positive first: Nice property with good breakfast. Great staff- very attentive and helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast area deserve the highest marks. Now with the negative-The shower stall doesn’t have a door-so no matter how careful you are while showering, the water spills on the bathroom floor and you have to mop it to avoid flooding the room below. The rooms are the size of a large closet.Lots of noise from the outside at all hours since La Rambla never sleeps. Overall we had a very nice stay at Hotel Barcelona House.

The air conditioning is only a gimmick, as the room temperature is adjusted for all rooms by the reception only! So in the individual room/s no temperature is adjustable. Besides of this we had a very good stay.

Struttura con arredamenti nuovi e curati, la camera abbastanza spaziosa e comodo il bagno, ma con una finestra che dava su una specie di condotto chiuso, quindi stanza senza luce naturale e se si apriva entrava aria viziata senza ricircolo. Il personale non sempre é stato gentile, colazione molto caotica e con pochi tavoli rispetto alle persone. Di notte talvolta molto rumoroso.

Entiendo que se podría mejorar el personal que tienen asignado en el área donde se sirven el desayuno. El peor servicio que he recibido, el desayuno termina a las 10:30 am y ya a las 10:15 van pasando por las mesas diciendo que alas 10:30 cierran, literalmente te botan incluyendo que la cara y la actitud de las empleadas no son las mejores. Triste por demás porque el hotel es bastante bueno saltándose la parte del desayuno.

Average hotel massively let down by front desk staff. We booked a taxi to the port with them and were assured it would cost €15-18 when we got to the port we were charged €45! Raised it with the hotel but they weren’t interested. Don’t stay here.

Great position for this hotel. Could walk in any direction to see many sites. Staff extremely friendly and cooperative. Able to leave our luggage here which was much appreciated. Would have liked a kettle, fridge and cups in our room to be able to make a cup of tea, but otherwise perfect.

Location is good. Any requests to the stuff gets a "No, not possible" answer. Early check in? - No. Can we have breakfast on the date of arrival rather than departure - No. We arrived to Barcelona at 6 am and checked in to this hotel at 3pm. We tried to have a nap only to be waken up by construction in the two rooms right next to our room. Stuff responded that the construction is not a big deal as they would wrap up before 5pm. So, hotel itself is ok but if you are out of luck if you have any help / requests or anything goes wrong

Place is excellent location. BUT. Offers a mediocre breakfast buffet with undrinkable coffee. THE worst are the beds. Probably bought at auction of old used beds. If you want a good nights rest go elsewhere.

Excellent location, just of La Rambla. Lovely and clean and staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Had to ask for a kettle and pay a €10 deposit, then buy our own cups as you couldn’t borrow any. Not a major problem, but a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was the same choice of cereals, pastries, cakes, bacon, rolls and continental meats and cheese every day, so got a bit boring after the first couple of days. Bacon was also cold, which was a bit strange. However, you could eat and drink as much as you wanted.
