We stayed here for a memorial service. The rooms were all booked with our family members and other people that were attending some type of a wedding I guess. The stay was unremarkable, except for the lack of a sofa bed that I had requested in my original booking. I asked receptionist if I could have another room and my answer was “you used a third-party booking and you don’t have that option“. I don’t think that’s a great answer and it doesn’t make people wanna come back to your facilities. I don’t know if I’m gonna use a Hilton type hotel next time if these are the responses I get for bringing my business to them. Ultimately, we had to get an air mattress to put my son on in the room so he didn’t have to sleep on the floor. The breakfast was good, the pool is small and subpar. The area really has nothing to do, so bring a book.

Because of the very extensive work being undertaken on the lobby area, everything was dusty and it was like walking through a building site. There was nowhere outside of the room to sit. I feel that you should have cl;osed the hotel to do this work and not continue to welcome visitos.

All the workers were friendly and attentive. Rooms clean and beds nice. Construction so there was cardboard on walls in elevator but it worked. Only disappointment is they ran out of coffee at breakfast time for the day

A perfect place to stay . Quiet and the service was wonderful! Front desk clerks were so helpful and friendly. Pool was just right and the breakfast was amazing . My room was clean I had no issues. Will for sure stay here again.

The property was under construction so the lobby and breakfast area were inaccessible, but they had it set up to be completely operational. Breakfast was delicious, pool was warm and the staff were amazing. Expedia overbooked them so we did not get the room we booked online! Grrrr. They said Expedia does it all the time. My husband and I slept in separate beds, we did not get the king room we reserved. This was Expedia’s fault. We will no longer use the Expedia app for any of our travels. Hampton Inn of Yorkville, IL was great!

Never stay again. Front desk was rude. Inside pool was inoperable even though we called ahead and asked about condition. Found roaches. Asked front desk for another room. They denied saying they were full but the parking lot was empty.

The beds are comfortable. Carpet could be cleaner. Bathroom door had to be shut overnight because nightlight reflected on the standing mirror in entryway. TV has only basic channels. The volume on our tv wasn't working. Outlet on one side of bed wasn't working. Rooms are spacious including a good desk chair and couch. Overall it was acceptable.

The shower was so dirty with many black hairs around the edge of the tub and dirt stains. It was disgusting. The fridge did not work. They hotel itself looked very nice, but the room was not clean.

The front desk employee was great to help me through changing rooms twice. The first room was above the pool and very loud. Switched to another room which had a very loud heater and the security latch on door was broken. Switched yet again and while I could hear the people above, I dealt with it.

The hotel itself is nice. The staff was friendly. But, we arrived very late after moving and the computer system was down. It took over 45 minutes until we were let into a room. They couldn't make keys. The next day the water was off for around 7 hours for a new water heater. There next day it took a long time to get hot water still.

We had late check out and the staff came knocking on our door at 11am and then they started calling the room. This was unacceptable. We requested late check out for a reason and should not have been bothered and interrupted. This is now the second time this has happened.

We were treated with so much disrespect from the front desk. We were trying to use the front area to visit with other guests that were also staying there and they said we couldn't do that. They even called the police because we had open alcohol (beer bottles) but they never mentioned that to us. We have stayed there many times in the last few years but will now be staying elsewhere. When i checked out this morning the lady at the desk didn't say a word. No goodbye, have a good day, nothing.

The second shift receptionist was very rude. Every year we come to Illinois and a bunch of other family members come in as well. We book 10/12 rooms and have always used the common area to meet and play cards/games etc. They would not allow that this time wanted us to rent a conference room. The 2nd night we were standing commons are trying to figure out where we could go and the cops were called on us. Now..if we were all to come down for breakfast at once would we be told we couldn’t? It was highly disappointing because all of us have never had a problem and the hotel was always up to par. Now we will be staying somewhere else.

Staff is wonderful here! Mayra went out of her way to accommodate us with our granddaughter to make our stay perfect. Dia was super friendly at check in as well. Great breakfast too. We will be staying here our next trip to Yorkville. Never had a better staff anywhere!

We had a wonderful experience at The Hampton Inn. Our room was beautiful and extremely clean. Debra at the front desk was always so kind, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. Location is convenient to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was very nice and updated. Beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever had! Breakfast was ok….potatoes and sausage tasted off but eggs and waffles were decent. Not a large selection but enough for a quick bite. Location was good and quiet! Would stay again because of the wonderful night sleep we had, hoping breakfast will improve for next time though.

My room was perfect! Clean and spacious. I told the front desk I just called Michael Jordan over to shoot hoops. LoL! Breakfast was delicious Rosa was delightful. The gals at the front desk are absolutely beautiful and fabulous, big hello’s and beaming smiles. They made me feel at home, warm and cozy! I’m so happy I picked Hampton Inn for my stay. I was in town for dear friend’s Memorial Service.

My door to my room didn't lock. Reservations kept getting mixed up. Hotel was clean and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Never enough food at breakfast, definitely could have done better there
