Goed hotel met goede parkeergelegenheid en oplaadvoorziening

Ho chiesto la sostituzione del telecomando della tv ma nessuno e' passato. Personale troppo giovane ed inesperto. Alla richoesta di utilizzare la sauna mi veniva risposto che non forniscono accappatoi (neanche a noleggio) e che devo comprarne uno al centro commerciale. Quindi non ho usato la sauna.

very clean rooms and comfortable beds, breakfast is also good. But I was confused that there was no water for for drink in the room, I had to go downstairs to buy two small bottles of water for 5 euros, also the sauna and jacuzzi are not available in the evenings, only in the morning

Lovely hotel, great staff, lovely breakfast. Very nice quiet rooms, with elegant bathroom and robes / slippers. Issue with shower draining dealt with quickly. Small gym and nice sauna, available 7-11. Jacuzzi pleasant but small and tepid. Parking a bit tricky if you are alone. The entrance is before the hotel, which is on a one way street so once you are past you need to go back around the block. Then staff need to confirm availability and operate the car lift. Each time you want to go in or out. But you can't argue it isn't secure! All in all a lovely stay, great location just outside of Old Town Riga.

Fantastic hotel, it’s certainly the best mid budget hotel in riga, myself and my wife have stayed in quite a few. Hotel is just across the road from Mercure hotel but in my opinion much better. Carpet in superior room, nice modern bathroom, great choice in breakfast and in general the hotel feels new, they have done a great job on their refurb. Next time we stay in Riga, we will be looking to book this hotel over others for price and quality. Morning Jacuzzi and sauna was great too and morning session included within our stay. Fantastic and big thumbs up from us

The check-in process was fairly disappointing upon being provided with a room it was obvious that the room had not been clean properly as the carpet was clearly unclean and the shelving and sidetables has visible dust present. So I went back to the reception and as for an alternate room which was provided however whilst the carpet in the new room was it in a better condition in the first in the room still wasn't to clean to a standard I would have expected. I went down to the reception again and asked one of the receptionist and they told me somebody would be there later that day to clean the room. However, this never happened, so I ask them again later in the day and they informed me that someone would come around the next day which never happened. I had actually ask one of the cleaners on the floor to to see if they could also tidy the room which the lady did which i very much appreciated. The single beds were smaller than the usual standard single whichbwas disappointing. Whilst there was a reasonable variety of food on the menu none of the heated food served was hot which was disappointing, the scrambled egg tasted odd with somewhat of almost of plastic smell and taste to it. Also in the elevators there images of a the breakfast which appear including items such as fried eggs and sausages, which aren't miniature frankfurters/hotdogs. However neither of these items were actually available. Jacuzzi was sloghtly disappointing as the water was barely lukewarm.

This was nice and basic hotel. Good rooms but not very nice atmosphere when I look to outside from window. Breakfast was very good and there was much different optional. For gluten free person there wasn't any special but still enough food to eat. A gym was nice. Morning sauna could be better at the evening time.

Good hotel with friendly staff. I wish sauna would work in the evening too, not only in the morning between 7am-11am.

Flott hotell med god lokalisasjon. god frokost, flotte fasiliteter, fin bar med gode drinker. Hyggelig personell som var behjelpelige med det meste. Rommet var utrolig flott, rent og pent. kommer gjerne tilbake

First the hotel has a great location about 10 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and also in the other direction from the Old Town. It's undeniably busy - when I took breakfast on my first morning it was quite hard to get a table! The staff were very helpful. My main issue was my room. It hadn't been properly cleaned and there was a used condom under the chair. Not everything in the bathroom worked efficiently either. I'd come back as the pros outweighed the cons and they were very busy.

Personnel sympathique, petit déjeuner correct, joli salle de petit déjeuner mais propreté de la chambre insuffisante (plus particulièrement sous et derrière les lits). Dommage car pour le reste, c'est bien.

There is no room cleaning (not good) until night 3 or 4. This should be clearly spelled out on Expedia. You have to ask and insist for room cleaning, until you get a staff member that will accomodate this (not great customer service either).

Personalen var toppen! Hotellet var rent och fräscht. Frukosten lämnade lite att önska. Inget särskilt. I övrigt hade vi en god vistelse.

Die Zimmer werden jeden dritten Aufenthaltsrag aufgeräumt. D.h. bei den Reisen unter drei Tagen muss man selbst für die Sauberkeit sorgen.

Hotellet har ett bra läge och bra standard. Det som drar ner betyget är städningen. Det är jättebra att man inte städar varje dag, men när det städas behöver det göras ordentligt. När vi kom var det dammigt, smutsigt och hår på golvet.

Extrapreis für anderes Kissen: 5€, Zimmer wird aus „Umweltgründen“ nur alle 3 Tage gereinigt, nicht jedermanns Sache, super Lage, insgesamt gut!

Friendly staff. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The room was cleaned, beds made, and trash emptied only every third day. Trash bags were only replaced upon request before 3 days, and we had to ask the reception for fresh towels and other essentials.

Nice hotel in good location. They need to sort their plumbing out. Bathroom smelled bad. Other travelers have said the same. Fix it!

Acceptable for a one-night stay, but for a longer visit it becomes inconvenient that the room cannot be ventilated, as the window cannot be opened. The pillows offered at the standard price are of very poor quality, as are the towels.

Fairly new and modern hotel. Room and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel was away from the old town but within walking distance. There is a large shopping centre very close but I did not find much in the way of restaurants in the area.

Fantastic hotel - location & facilities are spot on. It’s close to Riga’s coach and rail stations, as well all major shopping centres, beautiful park and Old Riga. The staff were great and we loved our lovely & modern room, with great view, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. It was incredibly quiet, so a good sleep was a bonus! Will stay again when in Riga next.

Friendly service at check in and check out, close to public transport, though Riga has some well documented issues with drunk people at night around the station I was well out of earshot with a 3rd floor room, courtyard window & air con. Free wifi was frustratingly slow and kept losing it, but I had issues all over Latvia which surprised me as they have some of the fasted internet speeds in Europe apparently. Free fridge and kettle, ample storage space. Excellent value overall.

The twin room our group occupied was small but clean and in good condition. One of us has to moved room because it smelled of sewage. Breakfast was good.

Upplevde svagt bemötande från personalen i receptionen, frukosten och städningen. Utbudet på frukosten var så där och gymmet var i dåligt skick. Bastun var ett plus!

Check-in was at 3:00 PM, and our flight landed at 10:30 AM. When we asked one of the hotel receptionists if we could store our luggage while we went out to explore the city before coming back to check in at 3:00 PM, she slammed something on the counter, sighed loudly, and then threw open the storage room door. They barely answered any questions, mostly just looked at you bitterly. They never greeted you when you approached the desk, never smiled, and you felt like a burden even just checking out :). They clean the rooms every third day. The hotel is centrally located but nothing special in terms of standard. It’s an old hotel, but not run-down. If you find another place nearby in the same price range, go for that one instead.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal

Servicen var forferdelig. Alle i resepsjonen var ubegjelpelig, ikke noe smil og hadde tydelig misnøye i kroppspråket (offer seg, tok seg til hode). Vi ønsket å bruke hotellets parkering, men fikk beskjed om at vår bil på 2 tonn ikke kunne parkere hos de, selvom parkeringen kunne ta 2,3 tonn. Fant heldigvis en annen parkering som var mye billigere. Kvinnen i resepsjonen uffet og akket seg. Det var veldig urenslig på rommet - gammelt kvinnehår i dusjen, på såpeflaksene og i badekaret. Ba om ekstra rengjøring - de kom og redde opp sengen og ga nye håndkler.

A great stay at the hotel, staff were all great, one in particular was “trainee” on his name badge. Doing a fantastic job. Well done. Hotel is very modern, room very comfortable and roomy. Close to everything you need in Riga, a 5 min walk from the train station or buses to and from the airport. Walking distance to old town and some great food and drink places.

Städning var tredje dag. Vi stannade 4 nätter, städning 3:e dygnet. Man hävdar att det är pga miljön. Jag hävdar att det är ett besparingaring. Frukosten var bra när den var påfylld, man fick säga till hela tiden vad som saknades. Inte ok för ett så kallat fyrstjärnigt hotell. Vi kom tre timmar innan incheckningen, vi erbjöds att checka in direkt mot en avgift på 10 euro.

We had a good stay at the Tallink Hotel Riga. Except that the receptionist could have been more helpful during our check-in. Maybe he was having a bad night or we interrupted his dinner, however the other staff members were friendly. Also the hotel could take a step forward becoming a modern version and getting rid of the check in papers. Tablets are more eco friendly.

At check-in, I was left waiting while the receptionist appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation with friends. This didn’t create a welcoming first impression and felt unprofessional. At check-out, I requested a modest 30-minute extension so I could shower after completing a half marathon. Unfortunately, this was declined quite bluntly, despite the circumstances. A bit of flexibility and understanding would have gone a long way in improving my overall impression of your service.

This hotel has very goood location near all attractions, like jugend style houses and old town. The shopping center Origo is in 100m distance, where you can buy groceries and clothes. Mc Donalds and Subway are also eight around the corner in case you need something very late or miss a breakfast. The standard room is quite small, but has everything that is needed, also a small fridge. The separate beds are very good and air condition was working, which was our pre-condition for choosing the hotel. Breakfast was on a good northern european level offering most sorts one can imagine. Extra mention for very good country style thick bacon. The only minus comes from coffee, which was provided by automat and wasn't very good. The hotel also has a garage, but it has some limits for car size. The price for garage sas 22€/24h. Generally a very nice stay and will be coming back.

Location is excellent for touring the city.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Altstadt ist in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Alles was man so im Urlaub braucht, gibt es rund um das Hotel, kleiner Supermarkt gleich gegenüber. E-Scooter sind gleich beim Hotel abgestellt.

Walkable to almost everything you want to do in Riga

Hotel is surrounded by buildings and the only side that has street view currently has a construction site in front of it. If you're happy not to have view onto a construction, then this hotel is surely great and quiet. My room had windows to the inside and it was very quiet. Just don't forget to close your thick curtains if you do not like being watched.

Great location, shame only the Riga has not cleaned snow for the time we were there and at the moment construction works near are interfearing.

An OK hotel, but they could have made more of an effort to secure gluten-free products for breakfast, which virtually every hotel has nowadays. I asked when I checked in and was informed that they have «a selection of gluten-free products». The first day they had bread and cereals; the second day they had only bread; and the third day they had nothing. When I asked, they just said it’s empty. On the rare occasions I’ve experienced this before, hotel staff have rushed out to buy something to keep the guests happy, Here it was just a shoulder shrug.
