Hilton Garden Inn Bartlesville

We specifically wanted this hotel because the advertised they had a hot tub. Or a whirlpool tub. There's was not open. It was closed for service or something like that. We did not know that. Had we known that, we would not have wanted to stay in this particular hotel. We would have looked elsewhere. By the time we found out the bad news, it was too late All the other hotels were booked. Plus our room key didn't work. We got locked out of our own room four different times. The book this hotel over the internet. But I spoke to the reservations desk. I did not mention the idea of the hot tub, and they did not mention it to me either. I didn't think to ask. I trusted the website. I should have asked. I think the hotel was fully booked and so they didn't particularly care. I did not receive any degree of customer service or customer satisfaction from this hotel. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Check in was easy and the room was clean. The pool and hot tub need a really good scrubbing.

Unattended dogs barking for multiple nights, shower water pressure was very poor, limited parking, hot tub was not usable & they are intending on eliminating it. Very overpriced.

Pool smelled nasty. Hot tub out of order. Room smelled like weed. Overall not acceptable for Hilton. But generally businesses in this area are poorly run and in bad condition.

Nice hotel. Great buffet style breakfast, though there is a charge. Rooms arr clean and comfortable. Could be bigger rooms. Quaint bar with inexpensive house drinks and tasty appetizers. Thursdays they have happy hour with half priced drinks and appetizers. All around a great stay in a nice, historical small city. Laundry and fitness room are also available.

I paid in advance for a king room. At check in we were told that because of overbooking we were downgraded to a queen. No apology, just a pouty face look. The parking lot was flooded so we had to park in the street. We were told that the agent would try to let the parking patrol know, but she wouldn't guarantee. There was a strong oder of cigarettes smoke in the lobby. There is mold in the shower and along the door frames in the room. The room was big and the beds were comfortable.

This is a great place to stay only issue was the pool being closed.

this was an overall terriable experiance i had a delay in my arrival so i called and aske them to keep my reservation and that i would be arriving a day late (car trouble) they said they would no problem. when i arrived they had canceled my reservation, but had "only" a king suite avalialbe so i took it the room smelled bad, the freezer was so iced over the refrigerator would not close, and it had rained, the back parking lot was 90% unavalable.

Very nice overall stay. The hot tub was out of order all weekend however.

This hotel was in the heart of this little town. It was very easy to get to, clean and with a friendly staff. The only issue was had was parking. Since we were traveling across the country and pulling a car on a trailer they did not have enough parking.

The Hilton Garden Inn has always been my "go to" place when visiting Bartlesville. I love the location, the welcoming lobby and the nicely furnished rooms. The morning meal options are inexpensive and much better than the "free breakfasts" at other hotels. What I didn't like was the cleanliness of the room and the outside appearance of the hotel. My visit was just before the OK Mozart Festival. It was a time for the hotel to shine. Instead it likely was an embarrassment for both Hilton and Bartlesville. Weedy flower beds, saplings growing up through shrubs and landscape mulch covering the sidewalk at the entrance are not appealing. Upstairs the shower door barely opened and the sink faucet creaked and groaned when you turned it on and off. Clearly, room maintenance is no longer necessary at this hotel. But, then, deep cleaning no longer seems to be necessary either. It was instantly obvious where the vacuum never went. Along the baseboards, between the night stand & wall and under the bed there was a disgusting layer of dust and dirt on the carpet. Maybe it's a sign of the times . . . staff shortages, budget cuts, employee turnover, etc. Maybe it's due to incompetent management and unsupervised or uncaring employees. Whatever the reason, Hilton needs to address these shortcomings and others to keep this once beautiful property from going to seed.

The stay was ok, but surprisingly disappointing. First, the guy at check in was nice, but a bit lacking in customer service. He didn’t tell me there would be a $100 hold on my card for incidentals so I was surprised by that and had to call the front desk to ask. Hoping that falls off before more bills are due. This should be something stated up front. Most hotels don’t do that anymore. The room was surprisingly run down. The wall paper was peeling from the walls, the trim was beat up, and the shower was dirty. There was also a giant spider in our room. Breakfast was included for us, but it was normally $14. I had gotten better breakfasts at a continental breakfast. The biscuits were so hard the gravy couldn’t soften them. The fruit was just ok, and the selection was abysmal for $14. You’d get a better deal at IHOP if you’re having to pay. It wasn’t a bad stay, but for the price they really need to up their game and clean up the rooms. Upgrades desperately need to happen. I won’t be choosing this hotel again soon.

The main reason I booked was for the hot tub it was empty and closed. The shower head was dirty and full of lime build up and had no pressure to even wash off with. There was a spill of some sort in the elevator and hall when we got there and it was still there at check out l. Not clean at all l. The breakfast was not good dried up and crunchy biscuits and over cooked bacon and sausage. Would not recommend.

It is a very nice hotel that we have stayed in several times. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. My only complaint is that the staff did not greet us the way they used to. Maybe to busy on their cell phones, who knows. We do not purchase the breakfast, so I can not comment on that. The indoor pool is nice too.

There were bugs all over my room. I’m not sure if they were crickets or big roaches, but there was about two dozen of them in there. All of them were dead, except for one, so I know that they were in there for sometime. If housekeeping Didn’t see those bugs, what else did they not clean up? On a positive note, the lady that ran the bar that night was extremely nice.

Best place to stay in Bartlesville. Great location downtown and easy walking to shops and dining. The rooms are clean and the staff was nice. The beds could use more comfortable mattresses and the showers are terrible. Very low water pressure - could barely get the shampoo out of my hair. Would give them a 5 star review if I was more comfortable in bed and had a good, strong shower.

Stay was okay. Room could have been cleaner. The padlock in our room didn’t latch so it felt unsafe as our door was rattling all night each time another door nearby would shut.

We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't going and the pool area was pretty dirty. The yard around the hotel wasn't maintained very well. We stay here once or twice a year and did notice things have went down hill a bit. The room was very comfy and the a.c. was cold. Our remote didn't work very well. The bedding again could use an upgrade. Bathroom and towels were clean. We will stay again but hate to see this very nice hotel go down the drain.

For being a hilton hotel it was very disappointing it was not updated at all and the beds were terrible.

Our admission clerk Kevin was courteous and professional. Housekeeping staff perform an impeccable service. Whole experience first class. Our first and only choice when in Bartlesville.

Upon checking in, I was told that they oversold the hotel and the room type I booked was not available so I was downgraded. There was also no maid service performed at all during my stay.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests,; from changing rooms to adjusting the price of my stay. The room and property were very clean and breakfast choices plenty; also delicious. I enjoyed a drink at the lobby bar and the lobby pantry was full of other drinks and snacks. Some of the furnishings were older, but still functional and there always seemed an appropriate number of chairs, tables, etc to accommodate the guests. Disabled visitors would enjoy the parking accessibility and added interior measures. GREAT location to explore Bartlesville!

Amazing help from front desk staff. Nice location, great little town. Clean, safe.

Overall, great visit. My only hiccup came during checkout. I have used hotels.com to book numerous hotel stays. I always ask for a paper receipt so there’s no surprises on what the hotel charges me. That receipt helps make sure the hotel, hotels.com and myself are all on the same page. Never had an issue asking for a receipt. However, when I was checking out and asked for a receipt, I was informed he was unable to provide a receipt and I was instructed to ask Expedia for a receipt (which I didn’t book through). I am sure Expedia was just a generic response but I was taken back by the inability to provide a receipt. Never had an issue at any other hotel. Despite this, I would stay here again. Quiet area and clean room. This hotel is centrally located.

Front desk clerk in the evening was not very friendly at check in. Next day our key door entrance was not working, couldn't get in our room. Desk clerk said it was because I may have the cards near my phone, still wouldn't work Maintenance had to be called, the battery died had to be replaced

The night shift front desk guy was awesome. The weekend breakfast Buffett was very good, and the waitress was so sweet.

The staff was great and the room was large with a nice shower. Bad points: The usb charger did not work. The "free breakfast" was a scam. It was a donut, bagel, or piece of toast. This was located in front of where they cook breakfast to order (for a price, of course). I bought the breakfast. Don't do that, they do not know how to cook.

The property was in a great location and good value except for breakfast. $15 for 2 scrambled eggs and a couple of pieces of bacon is just too much.

Hotel did not have a breakfast setup because the “cooks did not show up”. Otherwise, enjoyed my stay.

I would like for the breakfast buffet not to be so expensive but I get it. Otherwise, everything else was great!
