The view of the mountain was gorgeous on the back side of the property. The pool, sauna & hot tub were great. Good shower. TV was staticy but it worked. No issues for one night stay it was good.

Great pool with a fun slide for the kids. Room was clean and wifi worked well. It’s a little out of town so you have to drive to go anywhere. Staff were good on check in, but hard to find later. Breakfast was good, but it was packed, the lines were long for the one toaster !! Could fix this with another toaster. Staff also slow to refill things as they ran out. Go to breakfast early if you want a full selection.

The staff was very friendly. The the room had a kitchen unit and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was above average and the hot tub and pool were a great way to relax after a day of skiing.

Improvement from our first stay a week previously. The wifi in our room was not the greatest. Perhaps wifi boosters would be beneficial to the rooms. Great indoor pool, hot tub, sauna. Great complimentary breakfast and nice in house restaurant Alforno.

Beds were double - I expected queen - I should have read the small print. Bed was very uncomfortable. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle. Hotel room felt run down. Hot tub was green - not clear. Boards in the sauna were unstable to walk on.

-Pool dirty with cloudy water, strong smell of chlorine indicating a very long time since water change, dark scum on pool edge -Hot tub overfilled above skimmers and not circulating at a rate that cleans hair and scum off the top, no way to kick the jets up -Staff don't wear uniforms or even t-shirts, at times it's hard to tell who works there -Construction and other equipment left laying around, scaffolding in pool area, traffic cones and other items in parking lot -Someone living in an airstream trailer in the parking lot -Making no use of beautiful back lawn and bar area, actually locking people out of it from restaurant and making is hard to access, is a beautiful spot...too bad -Broken plastic fork in scrambled eggs -Shut down serving food at breakfast fifteen minutes before end of breakfast, forty people playing hunger games instead of eating All of this, and more for over $300 - bad deal. It's a poorly run old style motel, avoid.

RIP OFF!! Pictures of the rooms do NOT indicate the condition of the rooms! I took pictures of it myself it was so bad. This place was disgusting! Carpet so dirty I wouldn’t take my shoes off, build up of dirt around the sink faucet, peeling paint, dirty walls and light switches, the bathroom was disgusting…..the list goes on and on. Oh, and the breakfast was laughable and they only brought out very little at a time so people were constantly going without. Another guest was complaining at the front desk of water dripping from the ceiling of his room and they basically just shrugged their shoulders and offered him nothing. This is a $50 room, not $300 like they’re robbing people for!!

Check in was smooth but when i went to the bathroom i saw a blood stain on the wall. Not a lot but enough to go to the front to tell them. No apology, no offer for a different room, discount. Just stared at the computer a bit thenbshe told me she would come clean it. The bed SUCKED. Big dent in the middle, felt like someone elses body had formed to it. The curtains didnt close all the way because the top wasnt connected. It was an accessible room a d had a table and chairs infront of the window and heater making it impossible for a wheelchair to access...crazy

The staff were friendly, the food was good, but the condition of the room was not great. We had to lift the bathroom door in order to close it. The baseboard heater was rusty and the corners in the bathroom were filthy.

Rooms were dirty, dark and door had gap under where bugs can come in from outside. Our room was on the lower level with parking lot right in front. We were suppose to stay two nights but could not stay 2nd night. Staff was great and only charged us the night we stayed. Continental breakfast was good. Would not recommend.

Entered the room and left after ten minutes. I am not a picky person but the state of the room was horrendous. There were stains everywhere. Unfortunately I only took a photo of the floor. The bedding was covered in stains. I can only imagine of what. Gross. I had my two daughters and I couldn’t have them sleep in a room in this condition. We left after 10 minutes and the property wouldn’t even refund our money. Disgusting conditions and absolutely fraudulent to not refund. Disgusting.

I’m not one to complain but when your spending over $350 a night for a 2 bedroom suite the carpet shoukd be clean ,the putty on tge walls shoukd be sanded and painted and the dust on the tile baseboards was like 1/2 inch thick in the bathroom !

The motel was very quiet, we could not hear the highway or the trains. We had dinner at the restaurant, we had pizza it was good and saved us driving into town. Breakfast was very good. The beds are getting a bit old and probably should be replaced. The TV had limited channels and many of those were snowy.

Stay was good. Had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The AC blows onto you if you're in the bed close to it, so had to shut it off to be comfortable during the night. Hot breakfast was good but same thing every day.

We had a studio suite, 2 Queens, with a great view of the mountains. The suite was very spacious and had everything one would need for a day's stay, even an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was hot and substantial. The staff at the reception were excellent, professional and responded to our needs immediately. Would definitely recommend.

This property was a great choice for us and with a beautiful view. It wasn’t in the town of Golden, but it was only a short convenient drive. The check in was quick and the staff member was pleasant & efficient. The room was impressive and very clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. We checked out early in the morning before breakfast was ready, but the gentleman at the front desk offered us coffee and muffins to take with us. We will definitely be back for a stay at this hotel.

Great property! Easy to get to, fantastic parking. The views are beautiful. The staff are so accommodating. We arrived before check in time. Our room wasn’t quite ready but they gave us one that was. All staff were very friendly. Would recommend a stay here!

The waitress in the restaurant/ bar was exceptional! The service was above and beyond. Check in and checkout was super easy! Staff was super friendly! There is no room service however we could take out from the bar and that was just as easy.

The most terrible experience of our trip. We had mentioned that we are having a baby with us and the hotel anycase charges more with the baby. The hotel is not having elevator, still they gave us room on the upper floor. We were tired and my husband told the lady at the reception that we are having a 4 month old baby with us and we are having a stroller (obviously) but she didn't acknowledge our request. The doors were not automatic so I struggled a lot to carry my baby up the stairs which I felt so unsafe. This was the most terrible thing we experienced. We never saw such raw behavior for families with babies in Canada! Location was good but the struggle we had carrying our baby to the hotel room was real. Not to mention they didn't even offered any crib or bedding for the baby! Very bad services I must say. Plus the room lock got stuck many times, there was stuff from previous guests left in the fridge, tv was not catching signals and blurry. But everything seems less important when I think of the inconvenience I had carrying my baby without stroller up the very unsafe stairs!

Custmer servuce when i arrived 15 mins b4 checkin i was told my room was not ready. It was still being cleaned. Two couples after i arrived did recieve their keys immediately. The Rooms are very dated old carpet paint chipping off walls. Management beeds to address the customer service and satisfaction policies with employees. When we inquired about restaurants to eat near by the staff could not mention one . Woukd not recommend thus motel unless you are just looking for a place to sleep, and take shower. Breakfast was good !!

Rude, and unkept staff, servers at breakfast had dirty clothes and poor hygiene. No parking for guests as crew trucks were all double parked in paved area, staff would not ask them to move and park properly. No pool towels, front desk staff told a 10yr old to walk across the parking lot in the wet rain to get our own towels, waited almost 15 mins for staff to bring towels...entitled, arrogant staff talking down on guests in their own language. We'll never be staying here again AVOID THIS PROPERTY

Great value, free parking, amazing pool for the family, clean rooms and easy access to the Trans-Canada (Highway 1). The Golden Skybridge is just 7-8 minutes driving from the hotel. Strongly recommended if you are around Golden city!

Great location with beautiful views overlooking the valley from the rear side of the property. Everything is very clean. The attached pub/pizza place is EXCELLENT - we had a fabulous meal. Also, the included breakfast is fantastic, with lots of choice, including great hot food. We stayed at another property on our return trip, and the difference was stark - this is truly a GREAT included breakfast! Will stay here again for sure.

Lovely, clean, affordable and updated motel for a comfortable night. Staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the waitress who fed a couple of hungry (hangry) late comers. What I wasn't prepared for was the view they rolled out the next morning. Viewed from the well maintained courtyard in the crispy morning air while sipping my tea I was awed. As the mist rolled between the mountain ranges and flowed the majestic mountains ranges suddenly appeared. Quiet moments like these are remembered a lifetime.

Arrived in the middle of a storm. Quick check in. Nice big room and lovely view of the valley. Ate in the restaurant, food was good. Breakfast was also very nice. Only strange thing for me that was missing was body wash, just a bar of soap. I really felt comfortable and relaxed here and would stay again

The beds were comfy and warm. Our big room with the bunks worked great with kids. But the continental breakfast is a joke. The scrambled eggs were so runny and grey I couldn’t imagine anyone trying to eat that. Very limited options.

Had a good stay here. Very spacious room. Toiletries are Dove brand. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, beans, cubed hash browns, pancakes, waffles, and bread. A couple of options for fruits. Restaurant attached to the hotel has good dining options and friendly staff.

We loved the free breakfast in the morning! The location was conveniently located off the highway and easy to find. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.We also got a room an amazing view of the mountains from the second floor. The Alforno restaurant (on the property)has amazing pizza and a great patio!
