Easy to park nice check in, dumped my stuff and went for food after a long day got back and noticed room smelt of smoke and was very run down and dirty. Definitely not worth the money

No noise policy in place after 11pm, noisy residents including constant banging of doors and stamping about the room and shouting. Reception informed as it was way past midnight went on until 3am, furniture in the room damaged. Totally needs a refurb, under the impression its used as temp accommodation for families, no problem with that. Breakfast was shocking its a full english or cereal, asked for scrambled egg on toast with beans. No toast but beans and half cooked scrambled on a plate. (Salmonella warning big time)! Honestly give this place a wide berth!

The gentleman at the reception desk was friendly and welcoming, however the condition of the hotel was very poor. Our bed sheets and bathroom were fairly clean, however the carpet was very dirty and in poor condition. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and moving when stood on. Our room was freezing despite the window being closed. Also, the bedroom furniture was very old and falling apart. We were very disappointed, and unfortunately we will not be recommending this hotel to our friends and family. This hotel would benefit from a total refurbishment, so that future guests can have a more positive experience.

The hotel is lovely in all communal arias but the rooms are very poor Smells like an ashtray , window lock broken and temporary fix but it dose not seal it so the room is is cold and hade to ask for heating and extra blanket . Breakfast is eggs toast and beans , cornflakes and tea Not bad . Staf Helpful and friendly.

The hotel room was clean but the carpet was studded with what looked like white paint prints all over, the shower tray was cracked and the the seals were broken. The staff were not welcoming. We had breakfast at a table where the paper napkin stuck to it, there was no menu, and there wasn’t a clear option. The salt and pepper pots were filthy. The walls were covered in black marks and a clothes horse stashed against the wall. Such a shame because the room was a good size, just needs some TLC - a lot could be improved with some attention to detail and some heart,

This was one of our worst hotel stays in well over a decade. The room carpet was worn, stained and littered with debris. The bedside table drawer had a previous tenant's underwear and vape in it (pic attached). The wardrobe only had 1 hangar and the shelf was coated with a layer of dust plus an open packet of sugar. Mugs for drinks were filthy. Bathroom sink had nose pickings on it. Shower was filthy and wasn't working properly. The worst issue was the constant smell of cigarette smoke as there were lots of smokers downstairs and smoke would make its way into the room.

I checked at around 20:30, the receptionist was in his cubicle, not polite or informative. I had RM:18, I walked in the carpet had thick black stains, the floor tiles in the bathroom was cracked, but the bed looked clean and nicely made. As I am a backpacker, wasn't too alarmed with what I saw, hence did not complain. The place was infested with bed bugs! I was woken up with bite marks, I was suspicious, then had confirmation as one was running on the quilt after it's feast! I have taken photos of the room and the bed bug! I informed the receptionist of the incident and he stated manager will not be around until later that day and that the hotel will not be there for long as the property was sold. I called the manager on the 07.06.2025, no joy. Sent her complaint and asking for refund, I am still waiting for a response.

Bear in mind this is a cheap place very close to Croydon town centre. However it is cheap for a reason, it wasn’t the cleanest place I have ever stayed, very dated and the shower as good as didn’t work, water came out very slow and didn’t appear to get hot. That said for a night in a location I wanted to be, it done the job at cheap price. Any more than a night would have been an issue

Property okay for the most part, but it was extremely difficult to open the door to the room, so much so that I left the door unlocked overnight. The door has obviously been jimmied open at some point, so something should really be done about this situation. Breakfast decent.

I called the manager on the 07.06.2025, no joy. Sent her complaint and asking for refund, I am still waiting for a response.
I checked at around 20:30, the receptionist was in his cubicle, not polite or informative. I had RM:18, I walked in the carpet had thick black stains, the floor tiles in the bathroom was cracked, but the bed looked clean and nicely made. As I am a backpacker, wasn't too alarmed with what I saw, hence did not complain. The place was infested with bed bugs! Bear in mind this is a cheap place very close to Croydon town centre. However it is cheap for a reason, it wasn’t the cleanest place I have ever stayed, very dated and the shower as good as didn’t work, water came out very slow and didn’t appear to get hot. That said for a night in a location I wanted to be, it done the job at cheap price. Any more than a night would have been an issue

The hotel is lovely in all communal arias but the rooms are very poor Smells like an ashtray , window lock broken and temporary fix but it dose not seal it so the room is is cold and hade to ask for heating and extra blanket . Breakfast is eggs toast and beans , cornflakes and tea Not bad . Staf Helpful and friendly.

Property okay for the most part, but it was extremely difficult to open the door to the room, so much so that I left the door unlocked overnight. The door has obviously been jimmied open at some point, so something should really be done about this situation. Breakfast decent.

The hotel room was clean but the carpet was studded with what looked like white paint prints all over, the shower tray was cracked and the the seals were broken. The staff were not welcoming. We had breakfast at a table where the paper napkin stuck to it, there was no menu, and there wasn’t a clear option. The salt and pepper pots were filthy. The walls were covered in black marks and a clothes horse stashed against the wall. Such a shame because the room was a good size, just needs some TLC - a lot could be improved with some attention to detail and some heart,

No noise policy in place after 11pm, noisy residents including constant banging of doors and stamping about the room and shouting. Reception informed as it was way past midnight went on until 3am, furniture in the room damaged. Totally needs a refurb, under the impression its used as temp accommodation for families, no problem with that. Breakfast was shocking its a full english or cereal, asked for scrambled egg on toast with beans. No toast but beans and half cooked scrambled on a plate. (Salmonella warning big time)! Honestly give this place a wide berth!
