Alfred Hotels Monaco - Hôtel avec rooftop

Hotel Restaurant was closed (Monday evening) and limited food options in the neighborhood. The hotel is difficult to reach by foot if you come with local transportation (we arrived by train) and luggage. we had 2 suitcases which we pushed uphill for nearly 20 min, which was our workout for the day. Since we arrived before 3 pm, the room was not ready but we were able to leave our luggage at the reception and head to Monaco by foot. Warning: Lots of stairs and walking. The rooms were simple and clean, the bed comfortable. The cleaning lady literally walked into our room at 9:25 am, while we were still in bed. There were no door signs (do not disturb), so we hoped they would not enter the rooms until 11 am checkout time.

Beautiful top floor bar with amazing view

Amazing rooftop bar with incredible drinks and views. Perfect hotel right outside Monaco (technically in France). Hotel staff very friendly and was perfect for my friend and I. Taxi's in this area were also very easy to get since you are in France!

Good service, comfortable room. Great breakfast and a nice rooftop bar/restaurant with an excellent view. The food at the restaurant was good and inexpensive, the cocktails were also good but quite pricey.

Staff very kind and helpful, let is check in bags and hold them longer day of checkout. The rooftop is very nice, we got free prosecco. Breakfast was very good. Considering this was one of the cheapest hotels available near Monaco it far exceeded my expectations.

Clean room and nice staff

Je ne peux que vous recommander cet hôtel, les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses ainsi que la salle de bains. Très bien placé, à deux pas du centre de Monaco. Décoré avec goût, la literie est top, la chambre très propre. Personnel super : souriant et serviable. Un petit déjeuner très complet avec de bons produits.

What a HILL to hike with luggage to get to this hotel. Our room only had a bathtub with a hand wand. One of the tubs had black mold.

Es un hotel cercano a la estación de tren de Mónaco. Puedes llegar caminando. La regadera del baño es algo incómodo porque es una tina pero no tiene cortina de baño ni cancel y te bañas con la incomodidad de no tener que mojar todo el piso del baño. Se requiere un cancel o cortina.

Rooms are newly renovated and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location also has an elevator. Beds are super comfortable also!

Only 200m steep walk from the train station, with Carrefour 50m away. Quick taxi ride to Port. Friendly staff with suggestions for drinks and tasty Pizza on the rooftop with views of the harbour!! The room was compact but well laid out so plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and pillows were plush. Close the bathroom door and instant quiet for easy sleeping 😴 Breakfast was tasty with bacon and scrambled eggs, quality cheeses, breads etc etc Easy to recommend, will stay again!

Hotel well located near the Monaco train station. Room was ok, comfortable and with AC. There's is no proper shower, only a bath with no curtains. The breakfast was ok.

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, but the air conditioner didn't bring the temperature of the room down enough and the streets were loud at night. The rooftop bar and restaurant had delicious food, but we didn't get our full order and we were overlooked most the time.

Property was good and the staff excellent! The AC did not work for the 3 nights we were there. That is the only thing we did not like. Thecrest was very good

Very nice small hotel. I liked that it is located in Beausoleil as Ubers do not come to Monaco. The shower spray is a problem. No curtain or door on the tub and water goes all over the floor. No English-speaking channel on the TV. Nice breakfast.

Highly recommended with friendly hotel staff. Contacted you earlier thru WhatsApp in case you need any help from them. Also provided a very clear video from Monaco train station to the hotel. Make sure your e-sim or service provider got Monaco coverage in their network or else you will lost all the internet connection when reach Monaco!

Nice stay and reasonable rates. Mario at the desk was great, was able to accommodate us getting to the hotel early by getting us an equivalent room. He also helped with the airport transfer on last day.

The only thing good about this place is the location. But the hotel doesn’t tell you about the street lifts. I found out via google. The hotel is very basic, no tea making facilities in the room, only shower gel provided in the bathroom, empty fridge and to top it up the staff is very hostile. We were aware that we were very early for our check in - the receptionist at the time was a woman with black hair and she was very rude about it. She didn’t even bother to welcome us but just nodded her head and asked why we are there. There is a toilette next to the reception and I went to use it and to wash my face as I was after a long flight. Then I heard her loudly telling another person that I was taking a very long time. Breakfast is provided. Again the person serving breakfast didn’t even bother to greet or smile. She didn’t seem to enjoy what she was doing. Ubers aren’t allowed in Monaco but this hotel is in the border and in Beausoleil. So you can catch an Uber from here. But the woman with blonde hair lied to us saying Uber can’t come there and quoted a price double to an Uber to go to the airport. When we told her that the hotel is not in Monaco she said the kitchen is !!!! We are not that stupid. I just wanted to get out of this place as soon as I could as I just didn't feel welcome at all. It looks like a place run by a family and they are least bothered about hospitality. The service at this place is way below 3 star.

The staff were exceptional with all their advice. This hotel went beyond its normal duties. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel situated at edge of Monaco in France. Only five minute walk from Monaco train station. Lovely rooms, roof terrace bar and good quality breakfast served. Walking distance to all attractions.

Hotel was convenient to walk to casino, waterfront, and was clean. Staff was pleasant. Its an uphill hike back to the hotel from the marina, but the room was serviceable and the neighborhood pleasant

This is close to the train station but the way to the hotel is winding uphill. It was hard for me and my daughter to bring 2 big check in luggage and carryon uphill. Going back to the train station is easier. We loved the spacious very clean room and bathroom of Hotel Forum. Breakfast is continental, no hot food. There is Mr Pizza 5min walk but it closes from 2pm-6pm when we came back the next day. We loved the hot chocolate at Cafe de Paris and we loved to see the life of Princess Grace at Prince Palace, and the visit to the cathedral.

Un hôtel qui répond aux attentes et correspond aux descriptions. Ne pas hesiter à chercher l'ascenseur à la gare de Monaco qui amène tout près... cela évite une ascension laborieuse avec des valises...

Personale molto cortese: Alex in particolare è stato splendido, squisito e gentilissimo. Struttura nuova e moderna, con letti comodissimi. Stazione ferroviaria raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Consigliato!

Great friendly staff , Alex was very helpful . Breakfast was lovely, a little pricey if not included . Rooms have been renovated to very good standard. Very large bathroom, beautiful towels. Pity roof terrace not ready for a couple of weeks. Location is good once you understand the lift system from ground level of the city.
