Hampton Inn & Suites Cleburne

Needs some maintenance. Stayed at your hotel 1.looked cleanest 2. Had indoor hot tub/ heated pool due to recent knee surgery for the therapeutic valve. The hot tub did not work but water was warm but pool was not. 3. Bar in 2nd elevator came off in hand as I held for balance going up and down. 4 remote control for TV very difficult to navigate. Staff very apologetic but could not fix problems. Would have bern pleasant stay without these problems. We were there 3 nights for a funeral.

First the Pros: They had really nice staff. The breakfast was great. Convenient location. Decent sized rooms. The cons: We paid extra money compared to other hotels in the area hoping it would be nice and for the indoor pool. The pool and hot tub were both out of order. One elevator out of the two was out of order. There was no WiFi, also out of order. The bathroom still had hair and dirt in the corners, and not just a quick miss. It looked like it wasn’t swept or anything. There was a bag of someone’s dirty clothes in the closet. I told the front desk about it when I requested for the room to be cleaned. The room looked the way it should have when we got there, but the clothes were still there. The shower faucet was loose. It felt like if you pulled the tab up or down it would break. I wouldn’t stay there again, but again, the staff was really friendly. Especially housekeeping!

Amazing!! Hampton never fails, and this stay was excellent. Shauna at the front desk greeted us upon arrival, and was very accommodating, helping us extend our stay and making the transition seamless. The entire staff has been exceptionally friendly. Our room was perfect! Clean and comfortable. I was a bit disappointed finding out upon arrival that the indoor pool and hot tub were down for maintenance. I emailed the hotel after booking to ask (after reading other reviews), and they responded that the pool area was up and running. This was not a huge issue, but it did make me a little sad.

Overall a decent property. Appears fairly newly remodeled. Seemed pretty clean. You have to ask for daily housecleaning or clean towels. Pool and spa were heavily chlorinated. Maybe to an unsafe level actually. Breakfast was decent. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Property was under construction, was not made aware at time of booking. Elevators were out of service, had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. The place was filthy and looked like an abandoned hotel.

Elevator was down, business center was closed, pool area was closed. The room was ok. Breakfast was ok.

The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The facilities are in dire need of updates. Only one elevator worked, only one ice machine on the 3rd floor worked, no vent in the bathroom, our fixer in the bathroom was dripping but they came and fixed it right away. The phone couldn’t be plugged in or it made a busy signal. The pool, hot tub, and business center were all closed. Most of the equipment in the workout room didn’t work. Breakfast was good, beds was comfortable, but it looked like there was mold on the ceiling that had been painted over. Other guests that were staying at the hotel with us thought their rooms smelled musty and I did bring a air freshener to make it smell better. I don’t recommend this hotel unless they do some major renovations.

Property is under complete remodel. Heavy equipment moving around, scoffolding covering entire building, construction workers hammering outside your window at 8am. Poor water temp in shower as well as poor drainage in bath. Long walk to enter hotel since front entrance is closed for construction. Mother is handicap but we couldnt psrk in handicap parking because of the construction. Bugs crawling around the floors. No hot breakfast which was a big reason we stayed there. I would suggest no one stay here until construction is complete.

We were looking forward to our stay and we’re highly disappointed to receive an email the morning of the day we were to check in letting us know of limited services due to a major remodel. No elevator, no Wi-Fi, no pool, no usual breakfast (simple sack breakfast available), etc. We had to scramble and were able to find three rooms at another local hotel, but we were fortunate to get those last rooms. Obviously, the remodel has been underway for a while and it was shameful on the part of the hotel not to notify us until the day of our reservation.

The hotel is under MAJOR renovation. No Wifi, no pool, no gym, laughable breakfast. Shouldn't have come here. Hotel.com should have given us a heads up. Very disappointed in Hampton Inn and Hotel.com. There is a Holiday Inn Express a quarter mile down the road. Wish I had known that when we saw the place.

The pictures looked great but the actual room was dirty from lack of cleaning. I tried to tell the hotel but they said there’s nothing they could do! I would like a refund or credit for another trip

Room was dirty and smelled. I booked a king room with micro and frig and they said they didnt have king rooms set up like that. So i got a double bed. The room was used by beeople before us and they fried fish. What frustrated is hamption knew and still booked us in that room. The room.was also dirty. Food was terrible at breakfast.

Just stayed and were disappointed. Check in was at 3. We arrived at 6 and our room wasn’t ready even by then. We had no hot water for showering and there was urine on the bottom of the toilet by the floor.

The furniture in the room was stained and the privacy curtain had several holes in it. Also, don't expect much from the internet or the tv. I even paid for the upgraded internet and still was unable to stream anything. It made getting any work done very challenging. The tv only had 3 stations that actually worked. It was way too expensive for the poor quality of the property.

Our room had trash under the bed. The bathroom was not cleaned very well. It smelt of mold/mildew. The air conditioner was full of mold and some of it blew out onto the bed my son was sleeping in. Pool was closed, one elevator was out of order and the other was sketchy. The water was disgusting at best and when the shower was turned on the entire room stunk of mildew water. Water leaked through light fixtures from the roof. But.. the saving grace was the wonderful staff. The front desk clerk was kind and very helpful.

Location, lobby and breakfast area were all nice. The rooms and bathroom shower in particular could use some updating.

Great room. Very clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the pillows are terrible. All of them were feather pillows. Even using 2 pillows together, they were still flat. I tried everything to get comfortable but couldn’t. Great place to stay but bring your own pillow.

The property is undergoing major renovations and none of the advertised amenities were available, including Wi-Fi. This should be advertised up front before allowing people to book a room, rather than finding out when you go to check in and it’s too late to find an alternative place to stay. Also, charging $150 a night when none of the advertised amenities are available is shameful. Either close until the renovation is complete or tell people in advance and charge a fair price. The staff was incredibly helpful and gave me the option to cancel for a full refund. However, with it being Labor Day weekend, everything else around was booked. The room was clean but definitely in need of the overhaul. The air conditioner smelled terribly like mildew and was really noisy. If you’re thinking about staying here, I would definitely call them before booking to see what condition the property is in.

our room was on the 3rd floor. The shower did not have any water pressure and the water did not get hot enough. Water was turned all the way to hot and it was barely warm

Clean and neat. The friendliest staff I’ve ever had at a hotel!

After a long trip and looking forward to relax, we meet up with the receptionist giving us dirty looks and not making eye contact. Just so so rude without looking up says “name”? We had a reservation, couldn’t find it just kept us waiting and plus wanting debit card for extra $25 for making reservation. I was signing to pay and just horribly keeps pulling on paper for me finish!!!! She proceeds to throw our room cards on counter, no thanks and no nothing! Didn’t know where elevators were. No ice machines on floors and to top it off pool was closed for maintenance! We came to Cleburne Tx for a family reunion for a week but just stayed one night especially because of that lady. We just went to hotel next door for following days plus told all out of town family members to stay away!

The only problem I had was with one receptionist that was rude, and has a prejudice. I did not see a name tag on her but asked another receptionist what her name was and she said Marie she wears a nose pierce. She was working second shift. She wanted to charge us and I let her know that we had paid alr3eady online, then she said she would charge $25.00 I asked for what and she said for any damage we cause....so I said I am going to check the room. She proceeded to now look at me and move her head closer and asked in a very rude way "What did you say? so I told her again I was going to check the room,,she then got my husbands license and put it like next to his face , and then when she got the room keys, she threw the keys on the counter. The rest of the staff was very kind and one man even apologized for her actions. She is giving a very bad service for such a good company. I checked on the reviews and we are not the first ones to receive such treatment.

I arrived to the hotel at 1:10 am and it took until 2:00 am to get checked in and get the room key. The lady at the front desk was having problems making a room key. Not happy with the amount of time it took to get a key.

Breakfast was great room was nice and very clean! Snack options were great coffee was pretty good! Over all an excellent experience! All of the staff was wonderful and Shawna really stood out!

There was breakfast but it was all pre-cooked, pre-packed. It was not buffet because of the remodeling. We always bring our own food so that was not a big deal for us. The wifi was confusing and we could not log into it without a popup saying we might be charged $4.95. We didnt know if that was a daily rate, or what, so we didnt use it. Everything that was not under construction was neat and clean and our room was cool (100 temps outside). I feel like the staff were really working hard to make up for the modeling. They were always very generous if we needed extra washclothes, etc. Once renovations are done, we will definitely try them again. The staff were all very kind and helpful. If just adults are traveling, even with the remodeling going on, it would be an ok place to stay, but might be a little difficult for families with little kids with no pool, and construction equipment around a good portion of the outside of hotel. They did discount our room, without us even asking, which I thought was very nice of them. It's a quiet, safe location just a,minute or so from stores. Im not saying not to stay here, but just be aware of the remodeling.

Travel here often for work, love the convenience from parking to location and breakfast.

It was clean and the staff friendly. Did not find any issues. My brother was having a birthday and we stayed there. It was 5 minutes from my brothers resident and very easy to navigate. Thank you!!

building and grounds are clean and well organized, continental breakfast was one of the better we've had, rooms was comfortable and clean nice stay.
