Very average hotel. No carpets in the room, and feels cheaply furnished (only 1 bedside table). The metal door rim on the walk in shower was sharp, and I caught and cut my toe stepping over it. Breakfast was included but pretty average quality ingredient - nothing special. Carparking on arrival isn't ideal, very small car park at the rear accessible down a small back street. The limited car park bays are two deep, so if you can get a space there's a chance you’ll get blocked in.

Small but comfortable hotel. Good rooms.Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast, cooked to order. Parking is at the rear of the hotel on another street, but no signage directing to the cp. Fair number of cp spaces available but some in "tandem" so not all accessible unless you happen to know the person parked behind you. Convenient for local restaurants and only 3 miles from central Bradford which is accessible by bus after a short walk from the hotel. Easy walking distance to Saltaire village/Salts Mill.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast. Parking is a bit awkward. It's in a residential area some of the locals were a bit noisy. Room comfortable.

Exceptional it is not. Good yes. As a 3* it works more like a 2*, staff are friendly but not slick at being a 4* potential kinda way. Room was great and very premier inn feel. Noisy between rooms so woken up at 05:30. There is a limited bar, no evening food. Breakfast was good, cooked and quick. What’s not to like! Overall, cheaper that premier inn, but similar, except for food option in evening. Easy option with quality but not striving for more, come on guys look for better!

Friendly staff. 24 hr reception. Breakfast was really good. Seems a bit odd that you go and get your own cutlery and things but you order from the table but the actual food was great. Not much of a bar but pubs close by. Tv's are outdated in room but room is clean, good shower and comfortable bed. The only other slight problem was not very hot water in the sink. Parking available out the back but limited. I got the last space when i arrived. Despits the little things, really enjoyed my stay.

Everything about this hotel was first class. The room was clean, the fixtures were modern as were thos in the bathroom which included a jacuzzi. Breakfast was also flawless. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough.

quite a small room, bed was comfortable. It was difficult to get to or see the numbers on the control of the radiator as the table was is in the way. And what I found most strange, not experienced as yet, the hotel does NOT provide toiletries, not even in squeezy bottles. Quite unusual! Breakfast was ok, even if service was a bit slow.

Our stay at the Abbey Lodge Hotel was excellent as always. A warm welcome at the reception and parking on the premises a bonus. Our room was lovely and tea and coffee making facilities always welcome with biscuits too. Breakfast the next morning wonderful and served with a smile. Lovely place and lovely staff too.

The reception staff were very welcoming The breakfast staff were a bit curt although the breakfast was good with more choice thsn expected. Parking off the back road is congested and will not suit everyone. Overall value for money

A great little hotel in a fabulous location for a visit to Saltaire village. On arrival parking was easy at the rear of the hotel, and the check in was straight forward. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the top floor, but access was easy up some flights of stairs. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was good too. The room faced the main road but there was no noise. Breakfast was served downstairs in the hotel lounge, this was busy when we arrived, but a table soon became available. The breakfast was very tasty and cooked to order, there was also self serve fruit, cereal, and drinks. Overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very well located - a walk away from Saltaire and other places of interest, handy supermarket etc. Checking in was efficient and Reception manager was very helpful. Spacious and well appointed bedroom - hairdryer, iron and ironing board, hospitality tray etc. Breakfast included in the price so it was very reasonable for what is on offer.

Went early and no problem to park up. 5 minutes to walk in to town. 10 minutes walk to Salts Mill. Lovely clean hotel, great staff and very nice room. Comfortable bed. Superb breakfast. Would not hesitate to go back.

Lovely friendly staff and comfortable beds! Very convenient for Leeds (only 15 minutes by train) and so reasonable compared to Leeds hotels! Also great for visiting Saltaire. Cooked breakfast was super too!!

Lovely , helpful staff. Comfortable . Great location , walking distance to Saltaire. An area we hadn’t visited before , enjoyed Bingley 5 Locks , Shipley Glen and Baildon Moor, Tranquil walks on River and Canal.

Lovely , helpful staff. Comfortable . Great location , walking distance to Saltaire. An area we hadn’t visited before , enjoyed Bingley 5 Locks , Shipley Glen and Baildon Moor, Tranquil walks on River and Canal.

Very average hotel. No carpets in the room, and feels cheaply furnished (only 1 bedside table). The metal door rim on the walk in shower was sharp, and I caught and cut my toe stepping over it. Breakfast was included but pretty average quality ingredient - nothing special. Carparking on arrival isn't ideal, very small car park at the rear accessible down a small back street. The limited car park bays are two deep, so if you can get a space there's a chance you’ll get blocked in.

Exceptional it is not. Good yes. As a 3* it works more like a 2*, staff are friendly but not slick at being a 4* potential kinda way. Room was great and very premier inn feel. Noisy between rooms so woken up at 05:30. There is a limited bar, no evening food. Breakfast was good, cooked and quick. What’s not to like! Overall, cheaper that premier inn, but similar, except for food option in evening. Easy option with quality but not striving for more, come on guys look for better!

“Urgent. Make corrections. Pls correct name. Not Fariba. This is Zhila . Bad mistake?! I bought my cousin,Fariba a gift of one night stay in Istanbul. Ever since , you send me emails, addressing me as Fariba. I ( Zhila) stayed in Abbey Lodge. All the information you hv is my ( zhila) information.” Remove the above from my review for Abbey Lodge pls In terms of my review of Abbey Lodge. I had a single room. Clean & comfortable. It had all the basic necessary stuff in the room. Very helpful staff & good English breakfast. The premises aren’t air conditioned but there was a fan in my room. There is also no lift. I had to climb up & down to first floor to get to my room. However, staff were very helpful & carried my case to my room. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there& recommend it.

The garden outside the hotel was very well maintained. We had a basement room which was adequate/basic.but the room was very clean. The guy on the reception was extremely helpful and very easy to talk to. Breakfast was very nice; fruit juices, fruit, croissants, cereals, coffee/tea and then a cooked full English breakfast.

Excellent accueil, une belle chambre, propre avec une literie de qualité. Le petit déjeuner est inclus, à l'ancienne où on commande ce que l'on souhaite (des oeufs, du bacon, des saucisses, etc...) et on est servi à table ! A noter, même si ça n'a pas été un problème pour nous, pas d'ascenseur. Parking disponible à l'arrière de l'hôtel un gros + en Angleterre. Idéalement situé pour visiter Saltaire et se balader le long du canal.

This is a lovely independent small hotel with a private car park for guest and is ideally located for exploring Saltaire as everything is within walking distance. Although situated on the main road our spotlessly clean room at the back of the hotel was very quiet. Rooms at the back are south facing so it was very warm during the recent hot spell of weather. We took our own room fan to help cool the room for sleeping at night. The room had everything else we needed for our two night stay, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. Towels were changed each day. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again when in the area and would recommend to others.
