We went to vist family there and wanted to try your place....room was ok but there was black mold in the shower.....the hot tub was full of fungus....pool was green and muchy....so most likely i will not come back to your place

Not a terrible stay but the hotel didn’t seem to maintenance well. Ice maker not working, stopper didn’t work in our drain, toilet made a weird noise when it flushed, and the pool and hot tub appeared to be in need of a good cleaning. The hot tub water was almost green. Not a terrible place to sleep but it seemed as though the hotel was struggling to keep up with the day to day maintenance. Probably won’t return

I specifically reserved my stay here because there was a hot tub. The Hot tub has been permanently closed and it is misleading to advertise that there is a hot tub on premises when there is no hot tub. Overall, they could learn to use a vacuum cleaner too.

Everything was great. Two minor things that our room did not have. Microwave (which maybe could get if asked) and pillows were average. Otherwise a great stay. Very clean and updated.

Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The lobby is nice and although it's not a free breakfast, there is a cafe with Starbucks coffee. There were only 2 cons to the stay. One was there was no microwave in the room, only the community one in the lobby, so if we needed it later at night, it's an inconvenience. Also, the shower itself had some pinkish mold and the shower door leaks like crazy after you open the door once your shower is done. There is a sticker on the door that tells you this, but it's more than we expected. We had to request more towels because we had used ours to mop up the floor. The ceiling around the light is starting to peel and there were some water stains on the ceiling.

Great! (Not perfect, so 4 stars, but tiny flaws, all things considered.) The key cards wouldn’t let us (and cpl others) in through the outside side entrance. And the shower wasn’t spotless. Some hair remained and the shampoo dispenser was broken off the wall. But I’ll stay here again.

The hotel is nice overall but for one of the rooms we had to switch twice due to the smell int 2 of the rooms. There was a bad odor that wasn’t resolved after an ozone treatment. After waiting about a hour for the treatment to complete in the second room, the smell was still present. The third room they put us in was fine.

I booked a business trip for 1 week. Telephone not working. I informed front desk..did not fix it. All kinds of stains on furniture, chairs, couch. No cleaning of the room. Informed front desk and cleaning crew. No cleaning in 4 days. The promised cleaning today. Never did it. Internet not working. This is a ghetto establishment with no professionalism. Please dont waste your time and book there.

Nice hotel, but the air conditioning unit is very loud and whoever does the landscaping needs to be retrained, because they have trees with branches overhanging the sidewalk so low that you almost have to crawl under them. Note to landscapers: what you think looks good isn't always practical.

The room was clean and comfortable. The night staff were not friendly or accomodating. The staff refused to provide me full size towels and instead eventually after asking multiple times provided me with small hand towels. If you are planning a stay at this hotel you will get a decent hotel room but no quality customer service, be advised. I would not go back to this hotel in the future because of the experience. I suggest the Holiday Inn Riverfront and Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown for quality customer service.

Young lady in the cafe was very unfriendly!! Did not acknowledge me or other black guest when we went to get breakfast yet was very friendly and chatty with the white couple that arrived not long after! Only spoke when we spoke to her and had a blank unfriendly face!! On the way back through to the room I had to acknowledge the receptionist to even get a hello!! No one ever said hello how is your stay? Is everything okay with your room? A simple wave would have been better than nothing!! Although the Gardner was very sweet and held a great conversation I wouldn’t recommend to anyone of color!!

The hotel is modern and clean. The beds are super comfortable. The only issue was having to go to the front desk to get pool towels. We had to request washcloths and towels as well as toilet paper. Area is safe and the location is excellent.

There was nothing really unique about it. It was a place to stay that was close to my relatives. There were several fast-food places and convenience stores and stations nearby. I DID like that I was on the top floor, which made the room quieter; that the A/C worked well in the hot, humid temperature, and that I was close to both the stairwell and the ice-machine. I found it disappointing that there was no free breakfast included in the price, which reinforced my relief that I had brought LOTS of easy-to-prepare foods and snacks with me. It was incredibly odd that there was no microwave in the room and that the refrigerator had a "timer" that needed to be constantly re-engaged to keep my food cold. One bedside lamp wasn't working. I checked the plug and found it not plugged in. I moved furniture and plugged it in behind a nightstand and it still didn't work; so I had to search for another light and close-by electrical receptacle to plug-in items that I needed to be nearby in the night. Not bad for the $$, but not horrible, either.

Staff was able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. Parking lot was well lit and I felt safe entering and exiting the hotel. The room was clean and well stocked. Check out time was 12:00 noon which was so nice to be able not to have to rush.

It was clean and quiet. Staff was nice. Bar was closed at 9pm on a Saturday when we got back from running around. So couldn't enjoy a drink. We went to Drake's next door though so that was nice. Breakfast prices are outrageous!

The property was beautifully decorated with plenty of spaces for our group to sit and talk in the evening. Loved the fire pit area! Would have been better if a full breakfast were offered or at least if the coffee bar would have been well staffed!
