Was given a room on ground floor- so noisy- all different times of people ch checking in and out, which can’t be helped. But the room is not even close to being soundproof and every little noise has heard from staff, laughing and talking at the front desk to the breakfast set up and all the guests going up and down the stairs with her luggage. Did not sleep at all. they also do not allow you to keep your luggage with them upon checkout most flights leave later in the day, after checkout time, this is very inconvenient most hotels in the area offer luggage storage before and after checkout.

Perfect for airport transfer but a no thrills hotel. Taxi required to get to and from the airport if you have a lot of luggage or arriving late.

Excellent, easy stay before you go to outer islands. I recommend taking a taxi even though close, to hotel. But certainly easier to walk back to airport. Only because of the elevation uphill to hotel. Very friendly staff.

The Tahiti Airport Motel looks incredibly convenient because it is so close to the airport, but that proximity is a little misleading. The motel sits up a very steep hill, and if you have any significant luggage, walking there is extremely difficult. You’ll likely need a taxi, which cost us around $20 despite the very short distance. At that point, staying right next to the airport loses much of its advantage. My biggest issue was their extremely strict two-person-per-room policy. We booked a room with two beds and mistakenly assumed three people could stay. I accept that we should have researched the policy more carefully, but once we arrived there was absolutely no flexibility. We couldn't pay an additional-person fee, there were no other rooms available, and there was no alternative offered. Even more surprising, friends staying there had two children who were leaving for a flight at 9 p.m., and the children weren't even permitted to remain in the room with their parents until it was time to leave. To be fair, the staff themselves were very nice and seemed to simply be enforcing management's policies. However, the policies are unnecessarily rigid and not very accommodating to travelers. Between the difficult access with luggage, the taxi expense, and the inflexible occupancy rules, I would choose another hotel next time.
