Spent 5 nights and found the room really convenient for long stays. They have microwave, e-stove, washing machine, along with cooking and dining utensils. The hotel is around 6-7minutes walk from Toei Oedo line so even-though not right at Shinjuku, it was still easy to get around, especially when you don’t need to take JR lines that are more expensive. Had a bit of unpleasant misunderstanding with one of the staff at the end after check out, but the other staff were very helpful and polite. I definitely consider to stay here again for my next Tokyo trip.

The room is small but the lay out is well thought out, well equipped and clean. Having washing machine the room is handy and free coffee machine at the lobby is a bonus. The location is great, close metro station and bus stop. A few convenience stores nearby and McDonalds next door. Definitely coming back

Small toom (typical of tokyo hotels) but very cozy. Great staff! Amazing amenities. Includes daily breakfast of rice, cup of (instant) soup, bottled water, ham abd cheese sandwich, cereal, coffee and tea. Inside the room has refrigerator, microwave oven and washing/dryer machine (with laundry soap), air purifier/humidifier, utensils/plates/bowls. They also have free wi-fi, any toiletries you need like toothbrush and toothpaste, shaver/razor, q-tips, hair brush. Very clean room (no smell at all). Hotel is located near the subway train and bus stops (4 minute walk). Mc Donald's is just next door and a lot of convenient stores. I love this hotel! We stayed for 5 nights and we loved it! Housekeeping is not everyday and only by request but they will replenish your towels and if you need to change your bed sheets. We will definitely book this hotel again!

We didn’t have breakfast option since there are a lot to choose from around the hotel. The room has washer and dryer and microwave and kettle among some basic utensils. The staff is very kind and helpful. We are thinking in coming back next year.

Small room ,as expected in tokyu, but you have a kettle, microwave and washing machine in your room. Unusually, there isnt daily housekeeping, which wasnr a problem for us. You can ask for clean towels with a sign on your door. Great shower.

Very surprised how smelly and dirty the room was when I checked in. There was another guests long hair stuck to the shower wall. The bathroom smelled like poop the entire stay, even with the vent running continuously. The A/C unit had a nasty smell. The shower curtain was stained and sour smelling as well. This is unacceptable considering this hotel was more of a premium price compared to similar in the area. Next time I visit Japan I will try the APA hotels instead.

I wouldn’t recommend this property for those visiting Tokyo for leisure. The rooms are shabby — ours had stains on the sheets — and housekeeping is minimal. Weird smell in the hallway that was masked only when others on the floor were clearly smoking (despite it being ostensibly smoke free). Location is fine but it’s a bit of a trek to the bustling part of Shinjuku. The staff do their best, but it’s clear this hotel is meant for domestic business travellers and outside that, I’d say avoid.

The room was of the usual size in Japan. The bed and room were comfortable. The view was great. However the bathroom was quite dirty. Lots of grime, random hairs, stains. The room itself was pretty clean however.

The room is pretty nice even though it is small-ish. The washer/drying machine is a +! I don't mind not having the room cleaned because I don't like strangers comming into my room and look at all my personal belongings. The towel change system is perfect for me, just make sure to leave the sign on your door everyday. However, the bed and pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable !!! My back and neck are hurting and I could not wait to go back home to my own bed...Also the noises IN and OUTSIDE the building are soooooo annoying at night...sirenes every single night at anytime at least 2-3 times per night...and the ac's or toilet/plumbing system's noises too... This hotel shouldn't be considered a 4star hotel and definitely be cheaper than 200$/night.

Rooms are tiny and the bed is quite uncomfortable, very very hard, I like a firm mattress, but this was too hard. Tiny rooms, but you expect that in Tokyo. Washing machine was useful, but I never figured out how to just dry clothes. There was a strange noise in room 901, like a constant dripping and or whooshing sound. Free coffee downstairs and plenty of amenities. Breakfast you have to cook and prepare yourself in the room, which given the room size, can be a challenge. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the main Tokyo downtown area, with Godzilla and big cat.

Stayed at Tokyu Stay Nishi Shinjuku and overall had a really good experience. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to Shinjuku station and plenty of shops, food, and nightlife nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and having the washer/dryer in the room was a big bonus for a longer stay. Only downside was that the room was on the smaller side (pretty normal for Tokyo) and the walls felt a bit thin at times, but nothing that ruined the stay. Staff were helpful and check-in was easy. I booked a moderate double room and compared it to a friend who I was with who also booked a moderate double room. The rooms were not the same size. The room I booked was so much smaller than the other and when I went to front desk to inquire about I was informed if I would like to upgrade to a bigger room I would have to pay extra. I explained the difference in room size and I shouldn’t have to pay for a bigger room when I should receive the room I booked and paid for. Below is the “moderate double”.

The room was clean, the staff was accommodating, and there were several free amenities in the lobby. Close to the Nishi-Shinjuku station and we enjoyed a pleasant walk to the Meiji Jingu Gardens from here.

携帯の充電器がなかったため、後藤さんというスタッフさんに頼んだところ、嫌な顔せずにすぐに用意してくれたので、良かったです。スタッフの方々の対応に若干の差はありましたが、全体的にホテルの宿泊は良かったです。また、環境保護への取り組みもされていることがわかり、好感を持ちました。

Checked in and was given room 616. View from room was pleasing. No wifi. Zero. Zip. Nada. Despite a small sign in the room 'free wifi'. Nothing. Phoned reception. Girl came up with modem and tried. Still nothing. Only apologies. Arranged for another room - 216. View was of building and street. Only privacy with blind down. Room was 'clean and functional' For Y31000 per night walk-in rate it would want to be. Bed ok, tv ok. shower ok. Guests will generate rubbish. This hotel chain wants guests to take their rubbish down to garbage area (not nice) and sort out their own rubbish into respective bins. What? Seriously. We had 2 card 'keys', one was lost. Hotel asked for Y2000 as replacement fee. For a small piece of plastic worth a few yen. In view of the first day lack of wifi this fee could have been waived. We stayed for 4 nights. No staff before 7am. Staff inflexible. We will not stay at this chain again.

First the location was great and saved a bunch of time. A couple of complaints though: 1 could not turn lights out for most of the room without pulling the room key and shutting all the lights off. Also we didn't get any cleaning service (chose the in room cleaning option). The staff were mixed with their English and were young and friendly but not super friendly. Cool toilet seat and nice lobby with free coffee.

We booked this hotel based on its cost-benefit, as accommodation in Tokyo is a financial challenge. The service is wonderful, and the hotel is clean and comfortable. However, the room is quite small, typical for Tokyo. This was significant for us because we are two people who value space. We only had two suitcases, and there was no space to open even one of them (there wouldn’t even be enough space for just one small suitcase, maybe only for a backpack...). But we understand this is the standard in Tokyo. We didn’t opt for breakfast, but we saw that it’s a “do-it-yourself” style, with options like cup noodles. Regarding the hotel’s location: it’s close to a subway entrance, but definitely far from Shinjuku. It’s within the urban perimeter of the neighborhood, but not central to Shinjuku. Walking from the hotel to central points in Shinjuku is a long walk (about 30 minutes). There are some restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel. If you’re willing to walk or take the subway for all your trips, it’s worth it. But if you want to stay in a more central area with easy walking access to more restaurants or tourist spots, it’s better to stay somewhere more central in Shinjuku. We didn’t pay attention to this and regretted it.

The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Harajuku, as well as a subway and bus stop stop about a two minutes walk from the hotel. It is easy to get around the city from the hotel whether you prefer walking or public transit. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The room itself is rather small, I was traveling solo and it was fine for me, however for two people with bags it might feel crampt.

About 20 minute walk from Shinjuku station. Very quiet area, with a nearby 24 hour supermarket, restaurants, cafe and attached to a McDonalds. Rooms are quite spacious for Tokyo with high ceilings, washing machine and a comfortable bed.

Clean and quiet hotel with helpful staff. Kitchen and washer/dryer in the room. Easy check in and check out with no problems at all. Close to Oedo subway line station which connects to Shinjuku Station in just a couple minutes ride, also close to Chuo Koen Park. If you'd rather walk you can get to Shinjuku Station in about 15 minutes. Would stay here again.

Clean, well-equipped room (love the included washing machine!). Relatively away from the busy Shinjuku main area so nice and quiet. Plenty of kombini and restaurants downstairs too. Just be mindful you need to walk or catch a bus/train to get to the main shopping district. Otherwise I'm happy with my stay.

This place was a solid choice for my first time travelling solo abroad. Room was small but had everything I needed! There was even a washing machine which would have been super handy if it was later in my trip. The room had tones of outlets, AC worked like a charm, was located close to a metro station (or an 20 minute walk to the main shinjuku station) and the big shopping district of Shinjuku was quite close. The breakfast is simple but effective, there’s a western style (sandwich and choice of soup) or Japanese style (fish and rice, and choice of soup) they supply everything to cook the rice. I don’t eat meat/dairy and there was some nuts/cereals that I could have as well as one of the soups. So a little bit for everyone! My only issue with the room was the bed was as hard as a board. Highly recommend this place!

Fint og ordentligt hotel med god beliggenhed 10-15 min fra Shinjuku station. Morgenmad er DIY med produkter fra receptionen. Det fungerede fint men husk at sætte lidt ekstra tid af til det. Vi var glade gæster og kommer gerne tilbage.

This hotel is an excellent option for Shinjuku. It is one block from the station and a half hour walk to Kabukicho with the nearest Mega Don Quixote store - an essential aspect of any Japan trip. Everything you might need (groceries, Don’s, Lawsons) or want is within walking distance. The available breakfast was basically a fridge offering small boxed meals and a coffee maker so we opted for the nearby Denny’s which cost of 1300 yen ($12 cad) for breakfast for two and the meal choices were excellent. The only drawback was that the phone in my room didn’t work and they bc some to service the room at the most inconvenient times. They won’t service them after 1 pm. Otherwise, the room was small but sufficiently spacious enough for two. I enjoyed my stay here.

Property was clean, professional and helped us when we needed it. They do support luggage transport via 3rd party so we could be able to go to the airport bag less. Washer and dryer worked. Recommend getting Flair or something to unwrinkle your clothes but that was the only thing we had to do ourselves. Great place for a 7 day+ stay.
