Premiere Classe Bethune

Beware there are two hotels on-site. The reception booked me into the wrong hotel. I should have been next door in the Premiere Class instead of the Campanile. Albeit they couldn’t find me on their system they checked me in. I was booked in for 2 nights. They made me move to the correct hotel bit said i had to pay for the night i stayed in the wrong hotel. Ended up paying for 3 nights. The Manager who runs both hotels refused to understand and said i had to pay. She wouldn’t give me the Customer Service number, refused to accept responsibility for her staff member checking me into the wrong hotel and i was sent packing. Didn’t stay the second night as the situation was very uncomfortable albeit i was charged for it and the Manager offered me no refund. Shame on Campanile and Premiere Classe. Checked in to B&B Hotels in the end which is streets ahead. Do not stay- building needs updating and stains on duvets. Just a horrible experience overall.

A convenient and easy to find motel. Good value and well laid out. Getting a bit tired looking but nothing to effect the value. Key automatically from the machine as we arrived late. Nice that there is a breakfast/dinner place next door if needed.

La chaîne est bon marché pour une raison. Pas de places pour handicapés à l'extérieur des chambres pour handicapés, vous devez donc vous garer devant l'entrée qui est une promenade équitable ou dans un espace très étroit à l'extérieur des chambres. La chambre est propre mais le lit était dur comme de la pierre avec des couvertures fines et un oreiller dur. Certainement pas mon endroit préféré.

Basic motel within a couple of minutes drive of the autoroute. Friendly staff. Decent bed. Bathroom a bit cramped, but clean. Big TV on the wall. Excellent car park. Supermarket within a 5 minute walk. McDonald’s and another restaurant close by. Very good value for money.

When I pulled in, there were more than a few salty looking guys meandering about the property. Maybe they were just a work crew on the road. There were some work vehicles in the parking lot. The door to my room took some work to get it to close completely, so I could lock the deadbolt. Pulling back the bedspread, the sheets were stained. The pillows were more suited to a little kid than an adult. Very small. The bathroom is hard to describe. It was like an RV bathroom. Not that tiny, but there was no division between the shower and the toilet area. There was a restaurant that was owned by the same company on the property. When I first walked in, it had a strange odor. Not sure what it was. Food was good, though. Overall, for the price, I guess it was ok, at best.

I have stayed at Première Classe hotels in multiple places before, so thought I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, this stay has put me off considering them again. We arrived after reception hours, which is fine as I knew we would be able to use the automated check-in terminal to get our room keycards. This initially went well. However, the keycard did not release the bedroom door. In case it was a problem with that particular keycard, I got a second one from the automated terminal. But neither worked. There was a notice by the door for reception stating that for any keycard-related issues, guests should ask at the Campanile next door - but while the man on duty there was pleasant, he said he couldn't help me and had to call up the Première Classe staff member to get assistance before sending me back there. When I did see a PC person she was helpful and sorted the keycards out quickly - but this whole process had taken more than 20 minutes (late at night). When we got into the bedroom, it was apparent that the room we had been allocated (72) was not in regular use and was not well cared for. There had been a massive spider's web across the doorway, and once inside the room we discovered that there were no towels (I waited until morning to fix this). Unfortunately, all these issues combined to mean our simple 8-9 hour overnight stop lasted more than 10 hours, with not enough actual sleep. The bed itself was comfortable, although an additional pillow would have helped.

Lights in room didn't work, no towels, bad smell of stale cigarettes

Value for money - you're not expecting 5* luxury when you book a Premiere Classe. It does what it says on the tin - it's a budget friendly place to rest your head for a night. It's not the cleanest or most modern place to stay, but it's cheap and cheerful!

It was great, comfortable bed and spotless clean, we thought it might have been refurbished recently.we will definitely use this hotel on our road trips again.

We wanted somewhere to stay for 8 hours or so on a trip further south. It was fiiiiiine however there was an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke in the room. The sheets were clean. However the blanket had a cigarette burn in it. It was relatively quiet, but before 10pm lots of people out playing music and smoking on the balconies. If you have money, I'd stay somewhere else. Otherwise, lower your expectations and you may be delightfilly surprised!

Chambre correcte pour une seule nuit car très petite. La chambre sentait le tabac froid. J'ai été obligée de laisser la porte ouverte pendant plusieurs heures pour que cela soit respirable.

Old crusty and smell of cigarettes. Need some proper renovation. Disappointed.

Air con unit was missing. No towels in 1 room. Other room had radiator hanging off wall

Horrible a fuire! Commençant par la femme de chambre qui a deux reprises est rentré dans la chambre sans attendre de confirmation de notre part et nous a mis dans une situation gênante et même pas d'excuse formulé Propreté 0 WC odeur nauséabonde chassé d'eau qui fuit et j'en passe Personnel d'accueil deux dames très agréable par contre un homme (Arnaud) jamais vu d'aussi désagréable il devrait changer de métier a du mal a comprendre ce qu'on lui demande fait très mal son travail et par dessus tout au lieu de se remettre en question il accuse les clients de mensonges et s'agace parce qu'on a réservé sur une plateforme au lieu de la réservation direct avec l'hôtel Franchement a fuire première et dernière fois dans cet hôtel

le seul point négatif pour moi est la signalétique pour guider jusqu'à l'entrée de l'établissement. Mériterai beaucoup mieux; sinon je recommande cet établissement.

Very good for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Breakfast limited choice but sufficient to get you on your way. Just what you want for an overnight stop-over.
