The property was beautiful! Very clean, everyday my room was cleansed and fresh linen/towels were provided. I’m glad I payed extra for breakfast. Change in variety would be nice, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Bad: No tv in the room but who really watch tv. If o was with my younger daughter the tv issue would have been a thing. My biggest No No was that they did not have air conditioner. The room got pretty warm at night. They gave us an electric fan but it was not sufficient. Overall, I would stay again if they would upgrade and place central air. I’m hoping to visit again in two years. Please let me know. The staff was marvelous! The cocktail were fabulous and only a flight of stairs away, which was great!

Lovely old villa in a beautiful setting. It has a moat!! Many rooms have been recently renovated and are charming and comfortable. Wifi connection was weak but staff was helpful in addressing this. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place, the facilities and gardens were top notch! The food and drinks were excellent! Very cozy hotel with the right atmosphere. The staff and the lobby make the whole experience. The room was fresh, bohemian with the panoramic windows over the garden, wonderfulness.

This was an amazing experience! Being able to stay at an historical chateau with beautiful grounds in a serene and lovely French village was a true delight. The staff on the weekends (through Mondays) were exceptional. Frederick was especially helpful, engaging and took great care of us. The "Summer Snacks" and drinks offered during the times the restaurant wasn't open were delicious and just right, and this was perfectly situated for our forays into the different corners of the country all around.

Super friendly and helpful staff, made us feel appreciated as guests. The staff prepared a welcome gift of cakes and macaroons upon arrival. The room was clean and we slept well. All the essentials were done well. Clean towels. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Clean bedding. Reliable hot water. All the electrical plugs work. Housekeeping staff came the second day to tidy up the room. I especially loved riding their electric bicycles to visit the 2 adjacent towns, enjoying the lovely countryside and forest. We made use of the rowboats and the miles of jogging trails across the street. There are board games to play in the common salon. I loved just relaxing on my window terrace, watching the ducks and fish swim through the moat. So relaxing. This was the picture perfect fairy tale castle, until you look closely. Our room had obvious water damage on the walls and bubbling paint. The ceiling above the check in desk has peeling paint. There are restaurant on property was delicious but super expensive. Main entree cost 34 euro each and each starter cost 16 euro. There is only one other restaurant in town, which was closed during our stay. We got most of our meals from the local bakery.

Es ist schon ein Erlebnis, auf einem Schloss zu übernachten! Natürlich ist es was anderes, als wenn man in einem modernen Gebäude übernachtet! Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und es riecht hier und da etwas muffig. Der Stil der Räumlichkeiten ist wunderschön! Der Blick auf den Schlosspark vom Fenster aus auch! Wir fanden es ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Preise im Restaurant waren etwas überteuert für die Leistung. Aber das Restaurant um die Ecke hat tolle Crêpes!

Très bel environnement avec le parc du château et JJ Rousseau ainsi que le site de l'Abbaye de Chaalis. Propreté de la chambre et vue impeccable, mais déception concernant son aménagement, (ameublement non typique à un château). Par ailleurs, pas de téléviseur ni de climatisation, une chaise pour deux, pas de bouilloire ni de bar réfrigéré... Les soirées peuvent êtres longues; des animations proposées par l'hôtel seraient les bienvenues (genre piano/bar...). Déception aussi pour la restauration en rapport qualité/prix, faux gastronomique à notre sens!

When we saw the pictures of the superior room we were sold. We paid for a superior room with a king bed, 183 square feet, bath robes, slippers, and a park view for $235 Cdn/night. What we actually received was a room with a park view, but it was very cramped, patchy walls, and a double bed. I have photos to prove how disheartening, how rundown, and how much we got ripped-off. I do not recommend staying at this property.

I know this is old castle but the room condition is so bad. I cannot believe it is only changed to the hotel last year. The room looks like 20 years old non renovation hotel. The outside of hotel room looks pretty but they should spend more money to improve. Or they should decrease the room charge.

L'extérieur de l'hôtel est magnifique. Les chambres en photo sont superbes, je n'ai probablement pas eu la plus jolie... elle était propre mais spartiate, sans télévision (choix de la direction d'après l'accueil), une petite douche avec un rideau, une seule prise électrique dans la chambre. J'avais réservé une chambre supérieure, et la plupart des "options" (peignoir, coffre-fort, tv...)étaient manquantes. Je suis déçue

Impressive building and grounds but rooms are small and dated. No TV as stated in the info. Only Bistro operates on Tuesdays and has predominantly cold food. Breakfast OK but not worth 25 Euros.

When we saw the pictures of the superior room we were sold. We paid for a superior room with a king bed, 183 square feet, bath robes, slippers, and a park view for $235 Cdn/night. What we actually received was a room with a park view, but it was very cramped, patchy walls, and a double bed. I have photos to prove how disheartening, how rundown, and how much we got ripped-off. I do not recommend staying at this property.

Lovely old villa in a beautiful setting. It has a moat!! Many rooms have been recently renovated and are charming and comfortable. Wifi connection was weak but staff was helpful in addressing this. We enjoyed our stay.

The chateau is beautiful! It feels like you’re stepping into a fairytale. The hotel staff are very pleasant and professional. We loved our room. We had a really nice soaker tub and the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and we felt like royalty. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The wait staff were really nice and attentive. The food was really delicious! We were really amazed by the food. It was our favorite meal of our week long trip. We thought the food was even better than what we had during our lunch in the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is also about a 20 minute drive from CDG. We stayed here for our last night in France. We booked this for our last night of vacation because it looked beautiful in the pictures online. It did not disappoint in person. The staff were so helpful and welcoming at the front desk. They even showed us to our room and asked if it didn’t meet our expectations, we could look at another room. The room was a suite with a lovely sitting room and gorgeous view of the lake. We walked the lake and the staff made us reservations for dinner in the restaurant on site. The food was a culinary delight. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and thoughtful. We will certainly stay here again.

This is an absolutely stunning property. From the moment we drove up the beautiful driveway and saw the majesty of the chateau looming above us, we were in a state of wonder. It is simply exquisite with traditional grand features and very elegant and tasteful decor. Frederic at reception looked like a rock star but was extremely helpful and could not do enough to accomodate our family. He took photos of the family, looked after our needs and always ensured we had everything we required. This is one property you must stay in, superbe!

The staff on the weekends (through Mondays) were exceptional. Frederick was especially helpful, engaging and took great care of us. The "Summer Snacks" and drinks offered during the times the restaurant wasn't open were delicious and just right, and this was perfectly situated for our forays into the different corners of the country all around.

This is the most beautiful, overwhelming property. It’s an old small castle and palace. The whole town is amazing. The breakfast was above average. The room was comfortable and attractive with plenty of room and an amazing view everywhere you look. The front desk was very helpful and kind.

This is an amazing place, absolutely stunning. I only wish we would have planned to stay an extra night. We picked this place because of its proximity to CDG. It is remote but it only took 25 minutes from the hotel to rental car return. The only minor issue was the charge of €46 for breakfast for 2-offerings were good but not great.

The property was beautiful! Very clean, everyday my room was cleansed and fresh linen/towels were provided. I’m glad I payed extra for breakfast. Change in variety would be nice, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Bad: No tv in the room but who really watch tv. If o was with my younger daughter the tv issue would have been a thing. My biggest No No was that they did not have air conditioner. The room got pretty warm at night. They gave us an electric fan but it was not sufficient. Overall, I would stay again if they would upgrade and place central air. I’m hoping to visit again in two years. Please let me know. The staff was marvelous! The cocktail were fabulous and only a flight of stairs away, which was great!

Amazing place, the facilities and gardens were top notch! The food and drinks were excellent! Very cozy hotel with the right atmosphere. The staff and the lobby make the whole experience. The room was fresh, bohemian with the panoramic windows over the garden, wonderfulness.

Front desk and wait staff was amazing! The views in the Chateau are beautiful. We felt so safe walking around at night. The food was amazing. The staff even gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about the area as we are tourists from the US. Moe was exceptional, she gave me parking hacks around the train station. As well as how to navigate around France. My problem here is the cleaning staff. They would knock early in the morning before 9AM to come and clean, like they were so eager to come inside our room. We did not ask for cleaning until the end of our stay because we have a lot of valuables (passport, jewelry, etc.) and electronics in our room. We NEVER approved any sort of cleaning and they ended up coming in anyway. I knew they went in without our permission because the bathroom is clean and our bed is fixed. But the most disappointing part about all of this is they ended up stealing my Gucci sunglasses and my wife’s Adderall prescription medication. The worst part is the staff that I was talking to was not listening to my explanation and went on to defend their staff! Instead of listening to the client! We have stayed in numerous hotels and AirBnB’s all over the world. This is not the first time someone stole from us. At least acknowledge your client’s complaint. That’s all.
