Our 2br villa was just perfect and had everything we need including a full kitchen with oven and freezer. It was very restful being by the river and looking straight towards MONA. The restaurant was excellent and toasty warm on a cold night, just perfect. It is easy to find, close to shopping centres, motorway and the Bowen Bridge. It was nice to be out of the CBD (10 mins) and have parking at the door.

We booked in at the large house at the Riverfront motel for our group of 7. The house was unique, spacious and clean with more than enough room for all of us. The area where the Riverfront Motel and Villas is located is beautiful and scenic and we all enjoyed our stay. Our accomodation provided a fabulous base for us to explore the local tourist areas and was a lovely spot to enjoy when we were just relaxing. The kids loved the tennis court and the pool, we will definitely stay here when we come back - thank you!

The restaurant provided great quality and value. The grounds and facilities were excellent. The motel took a $200 bond because we turned up after hours. The bond was returned after the room was checked but it was disappointing to see the motel charged us a surcharge on the bond.

Clean, very comfy firm mattress, warm, quiet and private. On lovely grounds next to the river, great for a long walk or you can hire bikes. It's a few kilometres outside the city centre but lovely for a quieter stay in easy reach of the city. There are ducks everywhere which the kids love, plus a half tennis court, pool and young child's playground. You can order takeaway or eat at the restaurant until 8pm. We've stayed here twice, once in the motel rooms and once in the villas. Great value and consistent condition in both places.

Overall, the experience was pleasant. The room was clean and very spacious, with all the amenities our family needed. The beds were comfortable, and having an electric blanket was nice during the cooler season. The only negative is that the heater is located in the lounge room, so in the one-bedroom or two-bedroom villas, the hot air doesn’t reach the bedrooms, making them less warm than the living room. Additionally, the separate toilet had a window with an open inlet to the outdoors, which made it very cold. The restaurant was excellent, with great service, and the location was convenient, offering easy access to the highway and fantastic views of the river. There was a nice kids' pirate play park, a boat ramp, and a little jetty where you could walk, feed the ducks, and enjoy the beautiful view. We would definitely come again, as it would be lovely in the summer.

This oldie but goodie in a convenient location provides a very clean option for a quick overnight or couple of days in Hobart. It is out from the city but near the practical and big box shopping at Moonah. Currently a great price value ratio.

Peaceful setting with beautiful views. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Overall good value for money. My only criticism would be the lack of blinds on the upper windows as the outside light came in this made it difficult to get to sleep. Also thicker, fluffier towels would be good.

Beautiful outlook with lovely grounds. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic, but as described. There was hair on the sheets and pillow which the staff dismissed as their cleaning staff shedding hair while servicing the room.

Overall property is ok. First when we entered the room there was some trash in one corner. The single bed was not in a proper condition to sleep. I had to adjust in other bed. There was no power suddenly in the morning because of some accident outside and major power crash. The hotel could not do anything Other than these, the room was clean and good maintained. Surroundings are really beautiful. But it is quite far from the main city.

We had the 2 bedroom apartment as it was the only way we could upgrade to have a queen bed. The amenities were satisfactory but it has no air-conditioning in the bedrooms - only in the lounge room. The blankets were heavy. Strangely, of the many accommodation we have stayed in for this holiday, this motel was the only one that has small TV with tinny sound quality. The apartment was situated close to the road and was noisy from 6am onwards.

Had a room service meal because the restaurant was booked out, and the food arrived hot and was very good. The room is not well insulated and we could easily hear conversations and snoring from other rooms.

Overall okay and clean on our arriving/first reception was fantastic, she could'nt help enough. Our exist/leaving reception wasn't perlite at all whilst thinking people are silly with how the world works in receiving our own bond money back as an eftpos transaction in the 21st century, really, 5 days for a 24hr transaction.

We stayed for 4 nights. All the staff were super friendly & couldn’t do enough to help. The food from the onsite restaurant was fantastic. The River Burger was the best burger we have ever had. Location on the river was lovely. Would stay there again.

Really enjoyed staying here. We stayed in the one bedroom villa, very comfortable. I would have just liked to have been told when booking that you have to pay a $200 refundable room deposit on top of your room fee which doesn’t go back into your account for 3-5 business days.

Great family friendly spot to stay and in the summer months it would be fantastic. The 2bedroom Villa had everything we needed. The only negative is the highway and how close but only for the noise at night but other than that will stay again and maybe ask for a Villa not as close to the road maybe. Thank you

I thought it was excellent! The friendly lady at hotel reception upgraded us to a River front view that I could walk out to! The only thing that I wasn’t sure about was my gin and tonic ordered at the bar area of the restaurant with our super meal! Maybe a slice of lime, lemon or cucumber would been nice to embellish it with. And there was an awful lot of tonic in it! Some guidance here maybe! But all else was superb. Thank you.

Very good considering the age of the venue. The staff at reception were very good ,as were the staff in the restaurant. Our meal was better than a lot of more expensive restaurants in Hobart.

Rooms, Toilets, and outside was great, actually amazing. Super clean beds, parked right in front of room, staff was sweet. The food at the restaurant next morning however was digusting. The morroccon mushroom were so salty, if you take a bite, you couldn't chew and whole mouth would be so salty, you'd have to drink gulps of coffee. Coffee wasn't great either. On both of our dishes, the breads were burnt, on big breakky, sausage was old and burnt till inside, the scrambled egg was like vomit, and hashbrown was lukewarm. There was no beans, and it just looked and tasted utterly rubbish. Hey Chef, sorry but I am never eating at your kitchen again!
