Property and staff was fantastic!! 10 stars for the people working there. Hotel was very nice and super clean. Only issue I had was theres nothing telling you about how you have to pay for parking everywhere. Even the hotel you have to pay for vallet they do not have their own lot for free parking. Expect an avg of 30 bucks a night extra for parking.

This was a beautiful property. We spent outside of our comfort level because there was supposedly a gym. Gym wasn’t available for some reason. My biggest reason for giving a low rating is the restaurant/bar. The staff was great, but the food is AWFUL and overpriced. $18 for a very simple gin and tonic. We were told it was happy hour but prices did NOT reflect that. Recommend bringing your own pillow, pillows wire super thick and firm.

Hotel is under construction, so you only get a tiny glimpse. This is a good thing as the carpets, beds, and rooms need major upgrades (carpet was gross, beds were not comfortable). The staff was spectacular. The valet was $33/night, no option to self park.

Good location, valet was super easy and convenient, but I did not realize the lobby/restaurant was under construction when I booked this property. They did the best they could despite the construction. Will be great when finished.

Disappointing that I had to hear garbage trucks for 40 mins outside my window at about 4:30am. Also breakfast was advertised for the morning…7/11 could have done it better. Construction going on for most the downstairs. Would have booked elsewhere. A fee was charged to me in the middle of the night also. We’ll see!

Cute place within walking distance is the River Center. Room was small, the beds weren’t so comfortable, and I’m still a little salty over the parking fee, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The staff are nice but this place is FILTHY dirty- trash full/not emptied in common areas, furniture in the room was peeling and faded, bathroom floors very dirty (we put a towel down so we didn’t touch it). It’s also under construction- but not here and there- EVERYWHERE, and it’s not kept neat or clean. DO NOT STAY HERE until the work is done.

Excellent staff and location, but hotel is in terrible shape. The room and bathroom were very dirty and the room furniture had stains and tears. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks and the shower not got hot.

Sad to say the place is run down. Carpeting filthy, furniture all beat up, stale smells… bedding was clean and bathroom.. The best part was the staff, they were all very nice and demonstrated terrific customer service . The restaurant is being re done so hope that will lead to them doing the rest of the hotel…

The staff at Hotel Indigo was amazing...we were greeted by a doorman and the front desk each time we came in! They were helpful and ready to answer questions about the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, contemporary, and well-appointed. I had everything I needed for my work and rest. The location is perfect for a downtown Baton Rouge stay...just a quick walk to the river, shops and restaurants all around, plus the historic architecture!!

Disappointing. Carpet in hallway was stained and nasty. Hallway was loud. Not much noise cancelling. Chair in room was old and frayed. Bed and lines were nice and clean. Bathroom was clean. Will not stay here again.

I checked into this hotel for three days of rest and relaxation. Staff was accommodating and charming. The room was quiet; a little smaller than anticipated, but cute, cozy and clean. My only complaint is that my view of the river (Riverview room reserved) was partly obstructed by the hotel next-door. However, I left feeling my purpose was achieved.

The room was very clean which I appreciated. Bed was great and bathroom was spotless. Staff was very solicitous and helpful. No outlets for phone charges in the room. Still had an iHome alarm clock with outmoded apple charge station. That is my only complaint

The room was fine but check-in was an hour long ordeal. Not what I wanted after driving for several hours. All over a $20 deposit (computer problems) after I’d paid ~$1,600 for the rooms. Cash was unacceptable. Next time I would suggest you give us the room and we try the deposit again when the system is working in the morning.

The biggest issue we had as a family was the place was short staffed. The few people working were running and nonstop so the front desk didn't answer the phone, there were only two clean towels left for a double room with 3 people. Our son just started LSU so we are looking for a place to stay often but honestly don't think it will be Indigo. Also didn't appreciate paying for coffee in the morning. My aunt, Diane Pratt also had a room and she travels and stays at Hilton's all of the time and was disappointed that her room was not cleaned, couldn't get clean towels and shortage of staff.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. Housekeeping never came by on our second day, and when I called the front desk to ask about it, I was told that housekeeping has to be requested—something we were never informed about at check-in. I let them know we needed clean towels and for the trash to be taken out. Instead of helping, the staff member told me to come down to pick up towels myself and said there was nothing they could do about the dirty towels or trash until housekeeping returned the next day. Very disappointing service.

Our stay was awesome, thanks to our wonderful staff, Chrissy and Brandon. We rented through a third party who totally messed up our reservations but Chrissy and Brandon went above and beyond to handle the issue. I’m reserving for a week in a couple of weeks just because of these 2. Room was nice and clean. Highly recommend this property!!!!

On our first night there we took a shower and realized the wash cloths left for us were dirty and stained. When we left the next morning we called down for our vehicle to be brought to the front 5 minutes before heading down as we were instructed to do and when we arrived downstairs we were told it would be a few more minutes. After waiting over 30 minutes I asked that the front desk check on the vehicle. When he returned he told us a story that the vehicle before us had ran out of gas so the valet was trying to get that figured out but they would be right around with our vehicle. When the valet got to us to drop the vehicle off he let us know the front desk had never contacted him to bring the vehicle around. One night when we were attempting to return our vehicle to valet the parking out front where we were supposed to leave our vehicle was full so I ran in to ask the front desk where we should leave the vehicle. He was yelling at a customer, saying that that customer shouldn’t have been rude to him and that he was no longer welcome to stay there. We then found out that the customer had been frustrated and yelled because he had arranged for early check in that day and they had not had his room ready and so he left for the day and when he returned about 11PM that night his room was STILL not ready. I would have been frustrated as well and the treatment he received was horrible. Meanwhile the bartender had to run and get valet for us. Overall the stay was not very pleasant.

Good hotel, comfortable bed, clean updated rooms, clean bathrooms, nice view. Staff is very accommodating and valet is punctual. The downtown area isn’t the best but it isn’t horrible either. No to many food options, not very clean.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very nice, not a buffet. If you want breakfast on the property, it pays to get room breakfast included. Several excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance. The outside nightlife atmosphere can be noisy at times but it’s not always

They remodeled the rooms and they are very nice and comfortable but the staff here are wonderful and that’s what keeps me going back love Tif the Bartender and Missy at front desk and the valet just wonderful experience

The shower did not look adequately cleaned with a film present on tile and glass, perhaps due to water hardness, but still surprising. The hotel web site said breakfast included, but NOT with Expedia.. for same price. (A disappointment). Personnel were excellent and graciously extended checkout time to accommodate the event for which we were there. Beds were comfortable, other furnishing need a "refresh"
