Nitpicks include the coffee lids not fitting the cups, walls needing a paint job, and my shower having cold water if turned to hot and hot water if turned to cold. Other than that? With this price point this close to downtown? No complaints. Wasn’t expecting a fancy luxurious room and got a reliable and comfortable space.

Had issue with no hot water in bathroom clerk said it was because he was in shower and orher tenants were taking showers!!! I doubt it.. No fresh creamer it was hard and crumbly no ice machine. No free breakfast. I'd like to get my money back!

Great parking and business friendly not so much shopping nearby but there is a convenience store across the street

The ice machine was broke. No wash clothes in bathroom. Water in shower was barely warm. Only coffee in the lobby and not until 7am. But the bed was very comfortable.

Near the freeway. HEB grocery store and fast food restaurants in the area. Metro bus service line. Close to the Medical Center. Free and easy parking. Convenient location. Will return again.

The rooms were much smaller than the pictures. The stairs and property was old and run down. They advertised free coffee and pastries the morning. They advertised a swimming pool. They had none of it. Hotel management was nice however l.

This hotel was surprisingly nice for the price in the area. It’s a no frills type of place for people that travel often and are used to making a few compromises from the normal expectations.

I had my concerns and originally, based on the area, thought the place was a bit sketchy. To my surprise, it was a great place to stay. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean. Parking was easy and lot was clean. At night it was quiet. No issues with people hanging out or vagrants wandering about. I would totally stay here again.

We called the front desk the next morning to inquire about the lack of hot water and they said they would check on it and hung up. Never heard from them again. I guess the rates are cheap because you don’t get hot water! All-in-all, it was fine. Just check to make sure everything works. Don’t wait until the morning.

The room absolutely reeked of smoke, and there was hair in the bed. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned at all before my arrival. I was willing to pay for the one night that I stayed there, but I was refused to refund by both Expedia and the hotel for the remaining three nights that I did not stay there. I was completely disappointed by the experience, and very let down by both Expedia and the hotel to not have the ability to handle the situation in a way that I was refunded.

The property clean, rooms very cleaned, no smoke smell, bed smell linen smelled fresh, check-in was very easy, the staff, very friendly, room sat-up with everything needed. Property quiet, no people standing around, very convenient located to everything I needed.

It was dirty. Floor was dirty. Toilet was dirty ( i was able to wipe feces off the toilet seat. I avoided using it because of that.) The whole place was unsanitary. The only thing that was clean was the bed sheets and other textiles, thank goodness. Packing tape was used to fix a towel rack in the bathroom. Duct tape on the window in the room itself. I would of been better off at a motel 6.

The property appears quite old but that wasn’t the issue for me. When I first stepped into the room, I was greeted by a faint smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant at first but not unbearable. Upon initial inspection, I found several small brown stains on my bedsheet. I asked front desk if changing the sheets would be possible and they decided to change my room instead. Upon entering the second room, I was hit by the smell of mold along with the cigarette smell from before. Thankfully, I quickly got used to it and the smell only really bothered me every time I would step into the room after being away. The bedsheets in the new room were cleaner, but I still noticed a faint red stain. I decided to keep this room, however, as I figured they would all be slightly dirty in this way. However, multiple of the towels were visibly dirty and 2 of the 3 pillows provided had various debris and someone else’s hair stuck on them. Thankfully there was one pillow with only minor debris that I was able to use. The sheets smelled of course. The AC worked but was quite loud so it could be hard to sleep. Finally, the hair dryer plugged into the wall didn’t work (outlet’s fault I think), but admin was able to give me a different hairdryer which I could plug in somewhere else. Overall, I would pay a bit more for a better accommodation next time I visit Houston, as I just could not feel comfortable with the lack of cleanliness. 2 stars rather than one because service was good.

The property is convenient, has a semi spacious bathroom, towels are provided, workspace area included in hotel, T.V, and microwave. Minor roach visibility on property, so keep items off the ground.

Our door didn't seal completely allowing the heat in around the door area

The room was clean. The bath tub was dangerously slippery. We didn't have a shower curtain. The pillows were just terrible. The people were kind.

Was pretty clean, good a/c, good water pressure. Kinda large gap on bottom of door but other than that great room

It is an older property located just off 288, you hear all the sirens. The room we were in had been recently renovated but not everything reconnected. The TV was not hooked to the satellite and the walls were not completely painted. The bed did have a comfortable mattress.

The staff was polite and the rooms were clean and it was a quite place.

I informed of a late check in and they were cordial about it. Once we arrived they were waiting and courteous. The room was clean, bed was uncomfortable but ok. Ask for towels to be replaced and housekeeping had not come in to do anything but the front desk did provide with no hesitation. Check out was smooth. We will use them again.

The manger is very rude and will threat to refuse your stay.

Spare yourself the nightmare! The first room was missing the closet rod to hang clothes. They moved us to another room where it proceeded to flood while I was in the shower. We moved once again to another room. All this occurred during our first evening there! I inadvertently left one tennis shoe (Brooks) but, since I had another pair, I did not notice it was missing until I got home. My husband and I were at the hotel for three whole days and my missing shoe was not made known to me. They had to have found it while they were mopping up the previous room we had occupied. After arriving at home and realizing I had left it there, I called the management. I described my tennis shoe by color, brand, and size. The woman confirmed that it was there but said they could not mail it to me. I explained that my daughter was to pick it up for me and was traveling quite the distance. I asked for the woman’s name so my daughter could ask for her directly. She refused to identify herself and hung up on me when I insisted. When my daughter arrived, they could not produce the shoe and were rude to her. She left empty handed, nothing to show for her time and effort. —-Still Upset

We got there at 315pm. sign in window said gone but back in 15 minutes. All locked up. No one came until 4:15 pm. so we just had to sit an hour and wait. called the number 4 times and no answer. We had gotten our food to eat in out room and it was cold before we got our key. Rooms furniture was outdated and paint chipped off. A huge metal thing in room against the wall that took up alot of space and obviously was just being stored there because there was no use for .. Nice size wood closet with shelves. When you got in out of bed there was a loud sound. But the bed was comfortable. Room was pretty clean but has spiders...The tv was large and good channels . got approached when unpacking car twice with people asking for money. . My husband did not want to stay because the room looked so bad and walked next door to Main Stay Hotel to get a room there. They were full so we had to stay at this place. The lady at the front desk is rude, no common courtesy. I stayed here frequently. Spent much money at this location, yet treated me nothing more than a wallet amount. All of the other staff are awesome, from the men at the desk who always goes over and beyond, to the housekeepers. The lady however, is very discourteous, doesn't understand customer service.

This motel was located right off the interstate and was conveniently really close, one mile, from Baylor Medical School, where I was having a doc appointment at. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located close to a good variety of restaurants within 10 min drive in most directions. Also was within a 10 min drive of NRG stadium. Only down side is that it is located on a major road, which can have heavy traffic at times. This may make it difficult to drive around and get to various things depending on the time of day and other happenings in town. But Houston traffic is notoriously bad, so I just expected it and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get around town relatively easily.

Great location near NRG Stadium, downtown, and access roads. Very friendly staff with clean rooms. Great value for what you expect fro a no frills hotel.

We actually left after we saw the door wouldn’t even close all the way and it was in a bad part of town. We went to stay at another hotel in a safer area that had doors that would close and lock.

The hotel is old and the area is sketchy .There is a big gap in the door and the door bolt does not hold and someone can open to get in. We feel so unsafe and found ourselves another hotel that evening.The parking looks ok but the area seems not safe and we have an Alfa Romeo Lesson learned get a name brand hotel

Convenient location to the hospitals, nearby fast food restaurants and gas station. Close to the freeway. NRG and the Museum District is nearby. Room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Would stay again.

We did not stay. By the time we found it, we were very disappointed because it was advertised as being under 5 miles from the hospital we had an appointment at. I had chosen this motel because it was supposed to be close and we had a 6:30 a.m. appointment. As two women over 65 years of age, we did not fee safe at all. I tried to call and cancel the room, but couldn't even do that. So I was charged but never even got a room key.

Creole kitchen, across the street, is amazing & the reason I sleep well despite incredibly loud fan & smelly room!

Not that much unique about the property. It's located close to Central Houston which can be good for business travelers. Not close to food - but does not have to be an issue. Watch out for Houston drivers.
