The staff was AMAZING. The only tiny thing was that the website made it sound like the spa-pool-gym was in the building and included and it was actually across the plaza and we had to pay an extra $30 for entry but it was still LOVELY.

Tout était parfait : accueil, service, hébergement. La chambre était même mieux que sur la photo ! Très spacieuse, literie d’excellente qualité. La salle de bain est un peu vieillotte mais spacieuse et fonctionnelle. La situation de l’hôtel en plein centre du vieux Madrid est parfaite et le service de voiturier pour s’occuper de garer la voiture est très appréciable. Le seul point négatif de notre séjour est que les chaînes francophones n’étaient pas fonctionnelles et que malgré le signalement à la réception , l’hôtel n’a pas réussi à les remettre en fonction. Tout le reste était parfait pour un prix qui reste raisonnable vue la situation et nous reviendrons ici lors de notre prochain séjour à Madrid.

O hotel fica muito bem localizado, porém como era a semana das Fiestas de San Mateo, não pudemos utilizar o estacionamento. Porém, existe um estacionamento público, não muito longe do hotel. O staff da recepção necessita de um melhor treinamento, pois fizemos algumas solicitações à noite e eles não puderam nos atender, como por exemplo, servir um café após às 22h. Os quartos são muito bons, bem equipados e silenciosos.

Pontos fortes: valor da diaria bem acessível para um hotel 5 estrelas. Bem localizado. Pontos fracos: no site diz ter 2 restaurantes qd na verdade nao ha nenhum. Apenas room service. A estrutura do quarto é simples,os banheiros contam com apenas uma cuba. Nao ha box fechado para banho, apenas chuveiro sobre a banheira c vidro fechando-a parcialmente. No inverno é pessimo! A equipe do Hotel (recepcao) é muito fraca, despreparada e nao dá informacao consistentes. Porém sao afetuosos. Nao havia concierge durante minha estadia.

We loved the service and the personnel. Guest services (aka concierge) was excellent. We got booked for everything we asked for: trips, flamenco show, hair appointment. The location is golden: 15 minutes walk to everything. The car is parked by valet, which isn’t available in every hotel.

Honestly, this hotel accommodation is disappointing to be rated 5 stars. The room provided was a shoe closet that looked into an alley way. Other 5 stars I have stayed in would have never given that option as a room. It’s simply not acceptable to charge 5 star prices for what is a 2-3 star experience. The hotel was fully booked so no other rooms were avaliable. I generally like the NH brand, but this specific location, there are better hotel with the same convenience with lower prices and rooms to match. I won’t be staying here in the future.

Great Location Good hotel Good Service Rooms on 5th floor, as advertised , to be fair, have sloping ceiling which technically dramatically reduces the practical size of the room. The most attentive and pleasant staff we have experienced at any four or five star hotel. Extraordinary breakfast. Excellent soundproofing provided by the heavy wooden balcony doors. Great mattress and bedding, with variety of pillows. Every aspect of this hotel was perfect.

We scheduled one week at this hotel and spent over $4,000. A few days after we arrived there was no hot water and we had to take cold showers. A few days later there was no wifi and we were unable to conduct business on some zoom calls. When we spoke to the front desk, they said there was nothing that could be done because we booked our room through a third party. We thought that was terrible customers service and unacceptable for hotel that charges $500 per night.

Accueil fabuleux... Chambre 112, super spacieuse et très lumineuse avec un petit coin salon puis une grande chambre. Elle est bien équipée avec 2 télévisions, une machine à café type Nespresso, une bouilloire, un mini-bar "frigo", un coffre-fort. La salle de douche est un peu petite mais comme je suis arrivée en avance, on m\'a proposé une chambre disponible de suite avec une douche ou une baignoire mais disponible à 15h (heure d\'arrivée fixée par l\'hôtel). J\'ai choisi la douche pour avoir la chambre plus tôt donc je ne veux pas me plaindre sur ça ;-). Lit bébé à disposition avec un linge de douche à capuche exprès pour les bébés mais aussi une petite pochette de produits de douche avec une éponge canard. Je n\'ai jamais vu ça dans aucun hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est juste exquis avec un grand choix. Encore une petite attention pour ma fille qui a reçu à son arrivée à la salle du petit déj. un joli petit doudou. L\'hôtel est vraiment bien situé et au pied de celui-ci, il y a restaurants, boutiques et une petite supérette "Carrefour Express". Le métro "Sol" se situe à 4-5 min à pied. L\'hôtel propose les test PCR/Antigénique à notre charge pour le départ. Si j\'ai à revenir à Madrid, il est clair que je reprendrai cet hôtel.

My experience in few words is Too expensive for what you get, very annoying noises early morning from next door construction facing room, what is supposed to be a beautiful view is a construction view. Broken bath tub, expired cheese at breakfast, huge flies on buffet breakfast. I couldn’t wait to leave for another hotel.

We stayed two days in the hotel and the air conditioning was not working. We reported and we were ignored. We had to open the windows to refresh the room. The breakfast was expensive and lack of variety of food. (No omelette at the hour I arrived for breakfast 9:30 AM). The bathroom not had where to hang the towel. The staff was friendly. The hotel location was good.

Wonderful value in the heart of Madrid with the best breakfast offering I have ever had in 60 years of traveling to Europe. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located near the Sol subway station, an easy walk even with luggage, so use the Metro that starts from the T4 Terminal. The room was clean and quiet with a great bathroom, and in-room safe.
