Very comfortable and friendly family-run hotel, surprisingly quiet given its location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It has an excellent restaurant, with mainly organic and / or locally sourced produce. It is well worth booking a table for delicious, well-presented food and a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks. Highly recommended.

An ok hotel in a great location - but I arrived on a Friday which means there is no restaurant open and you have to ‘check in’ before 1800 - which I think is poor!

Bedroom was acceptable but property lacking care and attention - surrounding garden area was overgrown with weeds. Breakfast was dreadfull and well overpriced! Manager attitude was far from hospitable. Don’t recommend at any price!

We had a one night stay and found the room clean and reasonably comfortable. One downside is that the parking for the hotel is a little away from the building. Dinner in the restaurant was good. We found the owner was not very welcoming

Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay.
