Esperienza bellissima. Hotel centrale con tutte le comodità nei trasporti, trasferimenti e dotato di ottimo ristorante interno. Le camere sono stupende, nuove e con ogni confort. Suggestivo anche il quartiere a 3 minuti da Plaza Mayor. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. In pratica il meglio che si possa trovare.
Esperienza bellissima. Hotel centrale con tutte le comodità nei trasporti, trasferimenti e dotato di ottimo ristorante interno. Le camere sono stupende, nuove e con ogni confort. Generally great location for me. La Latina is a great area for me. Really like it. (Make sure try to knock and call if you don’t go during restaurant hours. The hotel staff is tugged away.) Also, no iron and ironing board but I don’t need it fir this trip anyways.

We loved this hotel! So comfortable and has a lovely wine bar in the lobby. Great location walkable to a lot of sites and points of interest. My bed was so comfortable and the shower was great pressure (which is very important to me). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lovely helpful staff

The room and hotel were really wonderful! Such a gorgeous old building with a very modern perfectly clean room and incredibly friendly staff. Perfect stay thank you very much! The restaurant was closed when we stayed (Monday, Tuesday) so it may have been a little noisy on the evenings if the restaurant had been open.

Love this location and the hotel is very intimate. Stayed 3 years ago and thought it was amazing, but this time the restaurant was closed when we were there (it's now closed Mondays and Tuesdays) so it felt a little dead.

Property was clean and well maintained. We didn’t get to utilize the restaurant since we were there days it wasn’t open but there are tons of restaurants around, including several tapas bars on the block. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It can get a little loud late at night because of the bars but wasn’t terrible. Hotel is also pretty centrally located and within walking distance to several attractions including San Miguel Mercado. I also walked to Parque de Retiro in about 20 minutes! Would stay here again for another Madrid visit for sure.

Schönes Boutiquehotel inmitten der Cava Baja, einer der schönsten Gastromeilen Spaniens. Nahe gelegen zum Plaza Major, Schloss, Mercado de la Cebada, der historischen Altstadt und zum Einstieg Hop on Bus. Günstige innenliegende Zimmer sind sehr klein und nur mit Fenster zum geschlossenen Innenhof. Andere Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Alles picobello. Sehr freundliches Personal. Für Städtetour absolut ok - längerer Aufenthalt in den kleinen Zimmern (103, 203, 303) etwas eng. Aber da gibt es ja die größeren Zimmer. Schönes Frühstück mit Eier- und Wurst-/Schinkenspezialitäten. Alles was man braucht. Und für den Abend eine schöne Weinauswahl spanischer Weine. Alles in allem: top!

Small hotel in an excellent location. The service in the breakfast area was very good. Although there was a bar area it was always empty presumably because guests were out elsewhere. As a result there was no atmosphere in the hotel. It seems that hotels are simply somewhere to sleep, admittedly very comfortably, and a base from where to explore. I was travelling alone so couples probably didn’t notice this at all. My room was clean and functional. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Camera piuttosto piccola, bagno molto stretto con doccia appena sufficiente. La camera non aveva area esterna se non quella che dava sul pozzo luce dell’interno dell’edifico e abbiamo sofferto il caldo nel mese di gennaio nonostante il condizionatore acceso. Per il resto ottima la pulizia della camera e la posizione dell’hotel.

Fabulous location. Easy walk to sights, restaurants, shopping and very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with great service. Room was a delight- so clean. Would highly recommend this place and if I ever return to Madrid- I will stay here again.

Gran estancia, el hotel está estratégicamente ubicado en el corazón de Madrid, a unos pasos de la Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, muy cerca de la gran vía y a la vuelta de un metro. Nos hicieron un upgrade en el tipo de habitación que habíamos reservado. Teo muy bien con excepción del drenaje de la ducha que estaba algo tapado y hacía el bañarte por más de 2 minutos un poco complicado. De resto, todo increíble. Manuel nos atendió de maravilla y nos dio tips de lugares por visitar. Volvería sin pensarlo.

Loved to stay here! Location is excellent. Very walkable to everything. Property is located in a great area for dining and shopping. Loved the cleanliness and the staff was prompt to help with all main attractions, and best local restaurants close by. I will definitely go back whenever I come to Madrid again. La habitación estaba limpísima, la calefacción muy bien, la cama muy grande y cómoda al igual que las almohadas. Resaltar el personal, muy atento y amable , sobre todo Sara la chica de la recepción que nos hizo el check-in. Muy recomendable el sitio porque está a 5 -10 minutos andando del centro.

Very clean, quiet, walkable, lots around to eat, metro nearby. Room looked better than it did in the photo. Next time I won't get the attic room though. My boyfriend is tall and he could only comfortably use half of the room. We also wish we could have kept the beds together. The floor is slippery so trying to snuggle in the middle of the beds pushes them apart. We'll pick a different room next time but would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was amazing! Right on a strip of bars and restaurants, we were never too far from a good time. The operation times of the restaurants is a bit confusing at first and tbh, it still was by the time we left but that’s not on the hotel. The room was so so cool with lots of fun decor. We were on the third floor so the restaurant inside of the lobby didn’t bother us at all. The bed was super comfy and clean. Showers were awesome. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would def stay again.

Fantastic location, right in the midst of things, great atmosphere. Great decor in the room, everything very new and clean and in perfect order. My window overlooked the inside courtyard so I had no actual daylight, but it wasn't a problem as I was mainly out during the day. A few quirks, such as the sink was in the bedroom, but that actually was fine for one person staying. Great friendly service, and they actually checked me in early because my room was ready (I arrived at 11). Enjoyed my stay and was sorry to leave!

Beautiful, very quiet even though we are on a busy street of cafes and bars. They have three layers of sound proofing: wooden door shutters, heavy glass French doors, heavy velvet drapes. Not only quiet but block all light so much so that for the first time since being a teenager and I am a senior now, we slept in til 9:53 am this morning! Wonderfully comfortable king size bed, heated tiled floors, and a great shower. Staff has been helpful, polite, respectful, friendly and we couldn’t ask for better! It’s very convenient to restaurants, museums/ cathedrals and metro. Taxis are abundant and easy to procure a ride. Prices are reasonable. We would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to all travelers!

The front desk staff was ok. Don’t try calling them on the phone. They do not answer phone. The refrigerator in the room do not work. They don’t even give a bottle of water. The room was very, very, very small and the place is very,very noisy. The hotel was very convenient to the historical sites.Location was good.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed our stay here. It's in the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Madrid & ideal if you want to be in the hub of restaurants & bars. Loved our room too. The balcony was very Spanish and I enjoyed standing out there, watching the world go by. The bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows if you wanted them. The shower was perfect. There was plenty of space, & the style of the room was very modern. If I had to give one negative, it's the noise. Now, the outside noise is addressed by sound proofing & if you use the shutters that's an extra layer too so you only hear it as a murmur in the background. The noise from the restaurant though (& the cleaners in the morning), can't be drowned out unless you put the TV on (normal volume does the trick). That said, if your routine fits Madrid (i.e.: you go to bed at midnight or later & you're happy to wake up at 8.30am/9am) like we were, it won't be an issue for you; it wasn't for us. However, if you like to be in bed by 9pm or 10pm on a Saturday night, it might bother you. If we return to Madrid we'll definitely be staying here again.

This hotel was amazing! Right on a strip of bars and restaurants, we were never too far from a good time. The operation times of the restaurants is a bit confusing at first and tbh, it still was by the time we left but that’s not on the hotel. The room was so so cool with lots of fun decor. We were on the third floor so the restaurant inside of the lobby didn’t bother us at all. The bed was super comfy and clean. Showers were awesome. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would def stay again.

This was my favorite hotel in Madrid. It is located in a fun little neighborhood with lots of food and drink options. The hotel was so nice and the front desk was extremely kind and efficient. Room was comfortable and very quiet.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They were very helpful with providing information about the area, made wonderful suggestions on things to see. The location is within walking distance of many incredible local restaurants and shops. I have stayed in many hotels during my travels and this Posada has moved to the top of my list of all time favorites. Can’t recommend a stay here highly enough.

Posada del Leon de Oro is a very cute hotel with updated amenities. We were able to enjoy a buffet made to order breakfast for a very reasonable price. We walked all around Gran Via, Palacio Real and Plaza Real which were all very close proximity.

Beautiful, very quiet even though we are on a busy street of cafes and bars. They have three layers of sound proofing: wooden door shutters, heavy glass French doors, heavy velvet drapes. Not only quiet but block all light so much so that for the first time since being a teenager and I am a senior now, we slept in til 9:53 am this morning! Wonderfully comfortable king size bed, heated tiled floors, and a great shower. Staff has been helpful, polite, respectful, friendly and we couldn’t ask for better! It’s very convenient to restaurants, museums/ cathedrals and metro. Taxis are abundant and easy to procure a ride. Prices are reasonable. We would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to all travelers!

Property was clean and well maintained. We didn’t get to utilize the restaurant since we were there days it wasn’t open but there are tons of restaurants around, including several tapas bars on the block. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It can get a little loud late at night because of the bars but wasn’t terrible. Hotel is also pretty centrally located and within walking distance to several attractions including San Miguel Mercado. I also walked to Parque de Retiro in about 20 minutes! Would stay here again for another Madrid visit for sure.

The room and hotel were really wonderful! Such a gorgeous old building with a very modern perfectly clean room and incredibly friendly staff. Perfect stay thank you very much! The restaurant was closed when we stayed (Monday, Tuesday) so it may have been a little noisy on the evenings if the restaurant had been open.

Love this location and the hotel is very intimate. Stayed 3 years ago and thought it was amazing, but this time the restaurant was closed when we were there (it's now closed Mondays and Tuesdays) so it felt a little dead.

Stayed at Posada del León de Oro for two nights and it was lovely. They front desk folks were lovely and helpful and held out bags because we arrived early. Our room was bigger than I expected and very modern in contrast to the building and neighborhood. The room has AC and an amazing shower. The neighborhood is quiet at night and even in the morning it wasn’t loud. Lots of restaurants options and super accessible to several metro stations and walking distance to many attractions including La Plaza Mayor. Would not hesitate to go back.

Property location exceeded expectations. It was central to most tourist attractions. Unfortunately, The room was very small and smelled musty after long day’s absence. the room was situated one floor above the restaurant and bar and it was noisy till 12 midnight. Our saving grace was that the hotel restaurant closed for two days during our stay and we were able to get some peace in quiet.
