El hotel necesita una reforma. Las habitaciones, aunque espaciosas, deberían ser reformadas. Había una piscina en obras con lo cual, se acumulaban todos los huéspedes en una misma zona. Desayuno bueno y variado, cena pésima, sin variedad alguna. La atención de la recepcionista brilla por su ausencia, no dió ningún tipo de explicaciones, se limitó a decir que la información estaba en un folleto y a la salida no tuvo ni el detalle de preguntar qué tal lo habíamos pasado. No volveremos.

This is not a 5 star hotel, I would say more of a 3 star. We stayed in a junior suite that really needed updating and redecorating. It was very spacious though! WiFi isn’t great in the rooms - very intermittent and slow. Positives - lots of sunbeds, friendly staff, pool towels, basic toiletries provided, spacious room, clean. Negatives - restaurant was basic and food was only luke warm, cocktails on all inclusive were minimal and pre-mixed, entertainment was poor, hotel room was tired and old, room cleaning every other day and not daily. Minimal shops in the area.

Pools were nice but very cold. 1 bar man by the pool during day . 1 bar man in the evening bar area. No decent cocktails. Nothing resembling fruit juice any part of the hotel. Food same for lunch & dinner. 3 nights here too long. Entertainment terrible. Hotel room lovely and large. Took blanket out of plastic bag in wardrobe and it smelt terrible. Lobby & pool area nice & clean. Welcome Cava on arrival nice but after that not included. Needs another bar area - maybe in huge lobby which had lots of lovely empty seating areas.

I recently stayed at the Muthu for 3 nights of my time I Tenerife -which is marketed as a 5-star luxury hotel with a full-service spa and two restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of these claims. While the rooms were spacious with a nice balcony, the hotel overall was very outdated and lacked the promised luxury. The food was average, and to make matters worse, the advertised 2 restaurants were closed during the off-season—a detail not advertised leaving the basic canteen style all inclusive buffet. The spa was also shut down for the weekend, making it impossible to enjoy any relaxation. On top of this, the kitchen in the junior suite was locked and unusable, and basic amenities like towels came at an extra cost. Even using the spa itself required an additional fee, which was unexpected given the hotel’s supposed 5-star status. The location was inconvenient, far from attractions and services, and the noise from passing planes was disruptive. Overall, despite the spacious rooms, the experience was more in line with a basic 2/3-star all-inclusive resort rather than the luxury experience advertised. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting true 5-star service and amenities.

Grundsätzlich hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Das Hotel hat aus unserer Sicht keine 5 Sterne verdient. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste hier und da etwas nachbessern. Trotzdem hat uns der Aufenthalt gefallen, weil Preis-Leistung gestimmt hat. Sehr freundlich war die Rezeption und vor allem der Restaurantleiter der uns meist begrüßt hat. Ser unzufrieden waren wir mit einer kurz haarigen Mitarbeiterin an der Poolbar. Sie hat uns trotz Meal Voucher und erneuter Rückfrage an der Lobby 2 Bier für 8 € abgerechnet. Das gleiche Spiel ging für Spanisch Sprechende Damen am nächsten Tag nach Diskussion kostenlos über die Bühne. Sehr ärgerlich weil wir All Inclusive gebucht hatten, dieser Begriff ist sowieso nicht Programm, weil erstens nicht alles inklusive war und selbst wenn man zum All Inklusive noch All Inklusive Plus dazu kauft auch nicht alles enthalten ist. Das kennen wir anders. Das Essen war immer sehr gut, die Cocktails aus dem Automat waren schlecht. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass direkt vor dem Hotel die Bushaltestelle liegt....

The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The pool ate looked lovely. The hotel was clean. The big letdown was the age of the hotel. The rooms really need updating. Scratches on furniture, toilet and baths need enameling. Shower fixture broken. TV bracket left on wall. Curtains threadbare. Etc

Room was out of date. Needed an update and deep clean. Loose floor tiles, torn window curtains, windows wouldn't close properly, some windows screwed shut, rips in shower curtain. Bath and sink taps covered in timescale. Disgusting shower head. Bathroom smelt awful. Woke up with a bed louse on pillow. AVOID.

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of September and the hotel is more like a U.K. 3* than a 5* Good value for money for how cheap it is for an all inclusive. Just needs updating and I would request a pool view room as the front rooms were noisy late at night. Very clean hotel to be fair but just in need of a refurbishment.

We had really good time with my son. Room was massive, very comfortable beds and great pillows. I liked our half board, especially great fish, fruits,.coffee and sangria. Always get sunbeads, we played free ping-pong

Check in whilst the staff were curtious on arrival we knew we could not get our room until 15:00. Tried ten minutes before but not ready went again at five past and got our room. When we got there they were still mopping the floor. Very small cups for tea as well as small glasses. I guess there was a kitchen but locked off beds were comfortable and clean. Fell short for apla e of this stature.

We had to change rooms due to the wind blowing the curtains everywhere (front of hotel). The manager didn’t want to move us as he no rooms available at our grade! We moved facing the pool & it was a much better room. Pools & food were good the pool bar opened at 11am which was a little disappointing but we coped. Overall a good base but could have done with a little more entertainment during the day & a slightly better selection in the evening

We’ve just returned from a fantastic two-night winter sun break at the Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and welcoming; exactly what you want when escaping the winter gloom. The staff were genuinely excellent throughout: friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which really made the stay feel effortless. Our room was lovely — clean, comfortable, and a perfect base to unwind between pool time and exploring. A special mention has to go to the other guests too, a great mix of friendly patrons that added to the easy-going, sociable vibe of the place. It felt relaxed without ever feeling dull. As for the weather… well, it kept us on our toes! A bit of sunshine, a bit of cloud — but honestly, even the changeable conditions couldn’t dampen the experience. There’s something quite enjoyable about sipping a drink in mild winter warmth while back home everyone’s scraping ice off their cars. All in all, a brilliant short break and exactly what we needed. We’d happily return, preferably with the same staff, same atmosphere, and maybe just a touch more sunshine next time 🌤️😉

Di seguito la nostra esperienza (ALL-INCLUSIVE): 5 stelle potevano essere quelle di 10 anni fa, ora lo valuterei come un buon 3 stelle. Effettuiamo il check in la mattina verso le 8.45 e ci dicono che la camera sarebbe stata pronta alle ore 15.00, dicendoci anche che se la camera sarebbe stata pronta prima ci avrebbero scritto un messaggio. Quindi lasciamo i bagagli nella stanza apposita e andiamo in piscina. Dopo un’oretta, chiediamo di avere il braccialetto dell’hotel per poter usufruire della opzione All-Inclusive e ci dicono che, per politica dell’hotel, i braccialetti vengono dati alle ore 15.00 insieme alla camera. Torniamo in piscina assetati. Andiamo a pranzo alle 13.00 (ci hanno fornito un voucher per poter pranzare): cibo terribile e pieno di mosche e moscerini. Alle 14.00 andiamo a chiedere se per caso la camera era già stata preparata e ci danno la chiave (NESSUNO CI HA AVVISATI). A quel punto chiediamo nuovamente il braccialetto e ci ripetono, ridendo, che viene consegnato alle 15.00. Che all-inclusive è?? Che servizio danno ai clienti che aspettano la camera pazientemente (come giusto che sia)??? Inoltre: se volete rilassarvi questo hotel non fa per voi, nessuna area relax, musica sempre ad alto volume, urla, schiamazzi ecc.

Wir haben das Hotel für Anreise und Abreise gebucht. 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Man kann dieses Hotel für länger nutzen. Pool vorhanden und der Atlantik ist Zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Wir fanden dieses Hotel sehr gut.

My goddaughter and I did a 3 day visit and saw that this Hotel was close to the Airport and bus transportation was right outside of the hotel. The bedroom was separated from the lil kitchen and living room. Would definitely recommend and if ever have an opportunity to come back, would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Muthu for 3 nights of my time I Tenerife -which is marketed as a 5-star luxury hotel with a full-service spa and two restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of these claims. While the rooms were spacious with a nice balcony, the hotel overall was very outdated and lacked the promised luxury. The food was average, and to make matters worse, the advertised 2 restaurants were closed during the off-season—a detail not advertised leaving the basic canteen style all inclusive buffet. The spa was also shut down for the weekend, making it impossible to enjoy any relaxation. On top of this, the kitchen in the junior suite was locked and unusable, and basic amenities like towels came at an extra cost. Even using the spa itself required an additional fee, which was unexpected given the hotel’s supposed 5-star status. The location was inconvenient, far from attractions and services, and the noise from passing planes was disruptive. Overall, despite the spacious rooms, the experience was more in line with a basic 2/3-star all-inclusive resort rather than the luxury experience advertised. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting true 5-star service and amenities.

Wir nutzten dieses Hotel für die Anreise und Abreise wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen. Das Frühstück war üppig, Personal sehr freundlich. Der Hafen ist 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Jede Menge Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Sollte ich noch einmal nach Teneriffa kommen wohne ich in diesem Hotel.

We had to book last minute due to a flight cancellation by the disgraceful Wizz air. The hotel is 10 mins from airport, has a local bus for 2.70 single fare or 13 for a taxi. The area is quiet but nice view close to the sea. Few shops and restaurants / bars around. The hotel is large, a tad dated but I paid 60 for a one night stay with breakfast for two last minute so can't grumble at all. The hotel has an amazing shop where you can buy CHEAP alcohol. 3 for bottle of ok wine, food a tad expensive. Hotel was ean, nice pool, happy hour offers etc. All in all a good stay under the circumstances. Breakfast was ok in the morning.

Grundsätzlich hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Das Hotel hat aus unserer Sicht keine 5 Sterne verdient. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste hier und da etwas nachbessern. Trotzdem hat uns der Aufenthalt gefallen, weil Preis-Leistung gestimmt hat. Sehr freundlich war die Rezeption und vor allem der Restaurantleiter der uns meist begrüßt hat. Ser unzufrieden waren wir mit einer kurz haarigen Mitarbeiterin an der Poolbar. Sie hat uns trotz Meal Voucher und erneuter Rückfrage an der Lobby 2 Bier für 8 € abgerechnet. Das gleiche Spiel ging für Spanisch Sprechende Damen am nächsten Tag nach Diskussion kostenlos über die Bühne. Sehr ärgerlich weil wir All Inclusive gebucht hatten, dieser Begriff ist sowieso nicht Programm, weil erstens nicht alles inklusive war und selbst wenn man zum All Inklusive noch All Inklusive Plus dazu kauft auch nicht alles enthalten ist. Das kennen wir anders. Das Essen war immer sehr gut, die Cocktails aus dem Automat waren schlecht. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass direkt vor dem Hotel die Bushaltestelle liegt....

El buffet perfecto,la limpieza de la habitación era un día si y un día no,así q cuando no tocaba limpieza ponte a buscar al servicio de limpieza para que te den el papel higiénico y las toallas que necesitas y señalar que cada 3 minutos pasa un avión por encima tuya y bastante cerca ya q tienen el aeropuerto muy proximo. Este hotel dudosamente de 5 estrellas arruinó las vacaciones de mi familia por la insalubridad de los snacks que están en cafetería.El york sabía a podrido,los sandwiches duros y el salchichón muy secos,como si fueran de hace tiempo. Llegamos un viernes y por la madrugada no parábamos de vomitar y de tener unas diarreas compulsivas.Deberían gestionar quien controla estos alimentos en mal estado,ni que decir que no pensamos volver. No me gusta hablar tan negativamente de un hotel cuya situación es totalmente denunciable,pero no sé imaginan los dolores de barriga que tuvimos.

We stay in hotel for 4 nights in decenber 2024, room was big and nice and comfy but it is needed to be reconstructed (it is maybe 15 years old room?). With big balcony. Restaurant with basic food but you have choices (fish, chicken, beef, pork, lots of vegetable). I did not reccommend drinks in bar, but beer was fine.

We had really good time with my son. Room was massive, very comfortable beds and great pillows. I liked our half board, especially great fish, fruits,.coffee and sangria. Always get sunbeads, we played free ping-pong

I recently stayed at the Muthu for 3 nights of my time I Tenerife -which is marketed as a 5-star luxury hotel with a full-service spa and two restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of these claims. While the rooms were spacious with a nice balcony, the hotel overall was very outdated and lacked the promised luxury. The food was average, and to make matters worse, the advertised 2 restaurants were closed during the off-season—a detail not advertised leaving the basic canteen style all inclusive buffet. The spa was also shut down for the weekend, making it impossible to enjoy any relaxation. On top of this, the kitchen in the junior suite was locked and unusable, and basic amenities like towels came at an extra cost. Even using the spa itself required an additional fee, which was unexpected given the hotel’s supposed 5-star status. The location was inconvenient, far from attractions and services, and the noise from passing planes was disruptive. Overall, despite the spacious rooms, the experience was more in line with a basic 2/3-star all-inclusive resort rather than the luxury experience advertised. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting true 5-star service and amenities.

El buffet perfecto,la limpieza de la habitación era un día si y un día no,así q cuando no tocaba limpieza ponte a buscar al servicio de limpieza para que te den el papel higiénico y las toallas que necesitas y señalar que cada 3 minutos pasa un avión por encima tuya y bastante cerca ya q tienen el aeropuerto muy proximo. Este hotel dudosamente de 5 estrellas arruinó las vacaciones de mi familia por la insalubridad de los snacks que están en cafetería.El york sabía a podrido,los sandwiches duros y el salchichón muy secos,como si fueran de hace tiempo. Llegamos un viernes y por la madrugada no parábamos de vomitar y de tener unas diarreas compulsivas.Deberían gestionar quien controla estos alimentos en mal estado,ni que decir que no pensamos volver. No me gusta hablar tan negativamente de un hotel cuya situación es totalmente denunciable,pero no sé imaginan los dolores de barriga que tuvimos.

Att hotellet inte är 5 stjärnigt förstod vi väldigt tidigt. Vi ger hotelett 3 för att personalen gjorde sitt allra bästa trots usla förutsättningar. Allt annat är 2 stjärnigt. Från utsidan samt i lobbyn är det väldigt sti ligt, men oj vad skenet bedrar. Det är verkligen slitet. Lägenheterna är så slitna, möblerna är trasiga. Ventilation luktar och låter något vansinnigt. Vi var i flera lägenheter och upplevde samma i alla. Utsikten från balkongen över pool och hav var vacker, men det betalade vi extra för😀 Flera eluttag fungerade inte eller hängde löst. Detta fick vi hjälp med att fixa på några timmar så inget större problem. Toalett dörren gick knappt att stänga samt så fanns det inget lås, det var helt enkelt borttaget. Vi hade bokat för 4 personer, men det fanns endast 2 sängar. Tanken var att 2 tydligen skulle sova i en hörnsoffa ala 80 talet. För kort även för vår 10 åring. Toaletterna i de gemensamma utrymmena te x vid poolområdet var så äckliga att ingen gick in dit. Späckt kakel/klinkers och speglar. Inga fungerade lås och betongen i trappan ramlade ut när man gick ner. Usch så dåligt och farligt. Ang all inclusive säger vi bara-beställ inte. Gå ut och ät eller laga mat i lgh. Råa bacon på morgonen. Brända hamburgare och kokt grillkorv var det som serverades vid poolbaren. När det var bbq buffé tema på middagen fanns det brända hamburgare, 2 sorters korv och nånslags blodpudding. Men fin personal som kämpade i motvind. Tänk oxå på att alla flyg går precis över

This hotel is 3* at best as rooms and furniture badly needing upgraded. Wardrobe doors didnt work as off track, marks all over the walls reqs painting. It was clean and staff very friendly and helpful our room was 014 and just outside the support pillar was badly cracked and render falling off which was badly patched. The whole place needs refurbed, pool area was lovely and clean. Food was repetitive and luke warm at best at times, furniture in the dining room chairs and tables badly needing painted. The entrance to the hotel was lovely and welcoming but look to the grand ceiling large flakes of paint was coming off. Dining room staff were great and hard working. A Parker , Glasgow.

We had a great holiday at this hotel at a good price for four people. The only downside that our room was not clean for three days. We stayed at the third floor and it was very windy most of the time,the two swimming pools was lovely and plenty of sunbeds.The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. South tenerife airport is near this hotel around 10 t0 15 mins by taxi and planes do fly over this hotel but this is not that bad.

Handy spot close to the south airport, which is why we booked it for a late evening arrival with a toddler. It’s a large hotel and, as others have mentioned, a little dated in places, but the apartment rooms are spacious and comfortable. Being on the ground floor made it really easy to access the restaurant, where the buffet breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that an airport shuttle was advertised on Expedia, but when we contacted the hotel in advance to book this in, they said it wasn’t actually available. This was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, given our late arrival with a small child, so it was a bit inconvenient. That said, it was easy enough to get a taxi, there were plenty available, and the journey is under 10 minutes (around €20).

Had an issue with the balcony door and could not sleep properly due to wind making terrible sound. Told us we have booked cheap room and we could upgrade with additional pay. Food is ok if you don't have a high standard. But overall not worth the money.
