All the hotel parking was taken by concert goers (the hotel is a 20 minute walk to a stadium), which is where I had to pay to park. The staff said there’s nothing they can do about the parking. I would suggest removing “free onsite parking at hotel” from the website. It should be for hotel guests only. The drinks were good. The food was terrible. The staff was kind enough. The room was adequate. But really, the parking issue was the main reason for this poor review.

I enjoyed the hotel. The staff was fantastic, friendly and willing to help. It was very nice, and the location was excellent. The biggest disappointment was the fitness center. The hotel had Olympic decor. The handrail in the elevator was fantastic, it was a barbell. This led me to believe the hotel would embrace fitness. All you had were two treadmills, an elliptical, and a few dumbbells. Not even a multi-station all-in-one machine. Very disappointing.

Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein ansprechende Unterkunft. Die Anbindung zur Innenstadt und der Olympiahalle (Konzertbesuch) war wirklich gut, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Buffet hatte ein sehr abwechslungsreiches Angebot. ABER: Ab kurz nach 8 Uhr durchgängiger Baulärm in der Nähe unseres Zimmers ohne vorheriger Erwähnung dieser Einschränkung / Störung. Schimmel in der Dusche und an mindestens drei Stellen im Zimmer Konfettireste von Vorgängern, was auf eine mangelnde Reinigung schließen lässt. Beim Check-Out wurde nicht nachgefragt, wie wir unseren Aufenthalt empfanden, daher gab es eine Rückmeldung von uns aus. Die Reaktion des Mitarbeiters war verhalten / desinteressiert. Keine Entschuldigung oder beispielsweise ein Nachlass der Parkgebühren als Entschädigung, lediglich ein „Ich schreibe es auf und gebe es weiter.“ Sehr schade.

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück, einladende Bar, saubere renovierte Zimmer. Einzig die Badezimmer können mit dem sonst gebotenen Eindruck nicht mithalten, Stockflecken in der Dusche und laute Lüftung.

Freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Bad hatte eine Schiebetür aus Glas, welche bei mehreren Personen im Zimmer sehr unpraktisch ist. Es konnte leider mit offenem Fenster nicht geschlafen werden, da es draußen laut ist.

De ligging is super, op 2 minuten loopafstand een metrohalto waarmee je in 20 minuten op Marienplatz bent. Het hotel is verder net en groot. De ondergrondse garage is best groot en met oplaadpunten voor elektrische auto's. De wifi in de kamer was echter totaal niet bruikbaar, ik had de hele tijd mijn eigen 5G moeten gebruiken, casten naar de TV werkte dus ook niet goed. Heel fijn van het gratis fles water en koffiezetapparaat. Je kan wel het best eigen shampoo meenemen, want er is alleen een 3-in-1 shampoo/douche/handzeep beschikbaar. Beetje jammer voor een hotel van deze categorie.

Room was ok just the design layout was left to be desired. Frosted glass on the bathroom door ment that everyone was up if someone was using the bathroom. There was absolutely no storage for in the room side tables were just a flat space, cabinet had no shelves and bathroom had one small drawer with the middle out for plumbing. So short stay is fine but we were there for 6 days and lived out of our suitcases . A/C worked fine , staff were great at breakfast always with a smile and remembering your coffee preference. Breakfast was the same each day but has a large variety of options

Perfect location for attending a concert at the stadium and BMW welt. Our room’s air conditioning was broken, however, and the maintenance staff could not fix it. It made sleeping very uncomfortable during a mid-summer stay.

Wir waren gerade nur zum Schlafen im Hotel. Ein Riesiges Hotel mit nur zwei Stellplätzen zum Laden von E-Fahrzeugen. Davon war einer noch zum Parken missbraucht worden! Ohne Oropax hätten wir die Nacht gar nicht schlafen können, weil der Traßenlärm höllisch laut war und m ab Brahtz dachte der Verkehr liefe durchs Zimmer, Entweder, oder und taugen Verglasung und Fensterdichtung nichts. Das ist einem Hotel dieser Klasse. Früher waren meine Erfahrungen mit Leonardo besservDied ist die zweite Panne nach der im Leonardo Berlin- Köpenick. Ich glaube ich muss es nicht noch einmal versuchen?!

My second year staying at this property. This time around was much worse- bathroom was not very clean. Requested a sewing kit from the front desk and had to call multiple times and eventually come downstairs myself to retrieve it after being told they were on the way to my room. Wasted the whole morning on a 10 minute activity. Overall would not stay here again, there’s just better options.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage am Olympiapark mit einer U-Bahn Station in 5-Minuten Fußweg Entfernung. Das Frühstück hat eine super Auswahl und Qualität, ist aber recht chaotisch und verwirrend. Unsere Klospülung ist während unseren 4-tägigen Aufenthalts 2-Mal kaputt gegangen, was zwar ärgerlich ist, aber immer sofort behoben wurde. Die Bar kann ich jedoch nicht empfehlen, da zum einen das Personal dort unprofessionell arbeitet und man ca. 20 Minuten warten darf, bis man einen zweiten Drink bestellen kann. Und wenn man dann Glück hat, bekommt man sogar was man bestellt hat. Auf Reklamationen, dass man den falschen Drink bekommen hat, wird man blöd angeschaut und muss aktiv auffordern, dass man den richtigen Drink möchte. Auch wurde uns am zweiten Abend nicht gesagt, dass es an diesem Abend nur bis 22 Uhr Tischservice geben wird und man danach an der Bar bestellen und bezahlen muss. Das Barpersonal ist jedoch auch äußerst unprofessionell und unfreundlich. Das Personal an der Rezeption hingegen ist ausgesprochen freundlich und war sehr hilfsbereit. In der Lobby gibt es zudem kostenloses Wasser mit Früchten und Äpfel und Datteln.

Bei vorab online Check-In wurde einem versprochen, dass man bei Ankunft im Hotel eine "Fast Lane" nutzen kann. Diese war aber nicht besetzt und so mussten wir 25 Min. warten um 2 Karten in die Hand gedrückt zu bekommen. Parkgebühr 20 Euro pro Nacht finde ich auch viel. Bei vorab online Check-In wurde einem versprochen, dass man bei Ankunft im Hotel eine "Fast Lane" nutzen kann. Diese war aber nicht besetzt und so mussten wir 25 Min. warten um 2 Karten in die Hand gedrückt zu bekommen. Parkgebühr 20 Euro pro Nacht finde ich auch viel. Für mich alles in allem kein Hotel das sein Geld wert ist. Rezeption war dauernd

We visited Munich for a holiday but also to see the 2 Metallica shows. The hotel was ideally situated as the underground was literally around the corner (we got to Marienplatz in 10 minutes, which was great as there were no restaurants in the immediate vicinity) and the gig venue was only 1 stop away. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The only thing that let it down slightly for us was the very limited menu in the restaurant and the waiting staff weren't the cheeriest - especially at breakfast time. However, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean and convenient to the underground station. The Olympic park being so nearby was great, but the other direction was not spectacular and the staff was not friendly, especially at check in, I was actually really surprised. They also just shut off keys before check out time even hits.

Tolle moderne Ausstattung im Zimmer und Empfangsbereich, sehr schöner Barbereich und eine schöne Terrasse. Leider ist uns durchweg aufgefallen, dass die Mitarbeiter*innen der Rezeption und abends an der Bar eher unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert waren. Lediglich die sehr nette Servicedame, die uns nachmittags auf der Terrasse bedient hat, stach positiv heraus.

Leider habe ich das Hotel in den vergangenen Jahren als deutlich flexibler in Erinnerung gehabt. Auch war das Personal ehemals deutlich kompetenter und zuvorkommender. Mit der Zeit werden vermutlich die guten Leute durch weniger gute ersetzt und die guten in neue Projekte integriert, somit verliert auch ein bei Eröffnung sehr gutes Hotel an Qualität. Schade nur das bedingt durch den Bettenmangel sich dies nicht auf die Buchungszahlen auswirken wird, den ein Hotel ist immer noch besser als keins. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Tolles Hotel, mässig freundliches Personal. Um 11 Uhr Nachts hat das Personal an die türe geklopft und irgendwas gelabert von wegen meine Begleitung hätte im Restaurant nicht bezahlt, ich müsse jetzt mit Kreditkarte zahlen. Ich kannte diese Person nicht und anhand der Reservierung hätten sie sehen müssen, dass ich alleine eingecheckt habe. 15 Minuten später dann noch ein Anruf vom Frontdesk, mit nochmals dem gleichen Thema.. wie unprofessionell und nervig ist das bitte um fast Mitternacht?!

In der nähe vom Olympiapark. Im Zimmer hat es reichlich Platz, modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Beim nächsten Konzertbesuch werde ich definitiv wieder Gast im Leonardo Royal Hotel sein.

Overall a good hotel. We enjoyed the price with included hotel parking. There was an underground train stop nearby. The room very was nice. The hotel decorations were a bit strange and the layout and hallways to get to the parking was a bit odd. Most of the staff seemed like they did not really want to be there. While they assisted us, they seemed uninterested or distracted.

Ich bin regelmäßig sowohl privat als auch geschäftlich hier. Das Leonardro Royal ist für mich immer die erste Wahl in München. In Fußnähe zum Olympiapark und BMW U-Bahnstation in 3min Fußweg. Somit sehr flexibel und schnell in ganz München unterwegs. Sehr zu empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder.

Sehr schönes und modernes Hotel. Das Frühstück hat einfach alles, riesige Auswahl. Ebenfalls sehr praktisch die U-Bahn Haltestelle direkt 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und von dort direkt Richtung Marienplatz.

I just don't feel that this hotel was worth the price. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the people were friendly. The breakfast was way overpriced. The bacon tasted and looked like canned bacon. The scrambled eggs were totally cold and tasted like powdered eggs. The chef was preparing omelets and fried eggs but never got around to refilling the scrambled eggs. The bread and fruit choices were ok but I've seen better. I bought it the first morning but the second morning went with no food until I got to the train station. I've just as comfortable and had a better breakfast for less money.

Hotel is close to the U and bus stop. The hotel was clean, pillows were not so comfortable. The towels were small and kind of old. No robe or slippers. The room was okay. Room service was good. The breakfast buffet was good. I liked the selection, especially the omelette. A suggestion: need at least 2 people at the omelette, egg station; the line gets too long and I really feel bad for the person cooking. I would return to the hotel if we go back to Munich.
