Oh, I loved this place. From the employees to the cleanliness. I will definitely be staying here again. The full bar and bistro was awesome. The walk in shower for an elderly person as my self was wonderful!

Hairs on the shower curtain and on the top of the toilet. The shower had mildew growing in it. This kinda gives you a not so comfortable feeling when laying in their bed. They also have the audacity to charge a “parking recapture fee” after you check out. It’s $4.26 which isn’t a big deal but they aren’t upfront about it and parking isn’t an issue in the area. If you are going to be misleading about additional fees I wonder what else they may be trying to hide in other areas of this hotel.

Two glaring problems. First was that (in Alexandria, LA), with a parking lot part of the hotel, they charged a parking fee, which I have only seen before in large cities where parking is at a premium. Second, there is no complimentary breakfast or coffee. Instead, guests must buy Starbucks coffee from the hotel and extremely expensive breakfast.

Swimming pool was closed due to lack of maintenance. Water was green. Housekeeping every other day. I had to empty our trash, take dirty laundry (towels) and trash to front desk for replacements. Commode never cut off even after the engineer looked at it. Was there three nights and will never use a Marriott hotel again. Was very disappointed in the service. Only one desk person tried to help. I have used Marriott and only Marriott for years and years. So disappointing and after paying over $600.00 for three nights, will not be staying with you again. Goodbye Marriott.

I have never stay at a Courtyard Marriot before because the prices have always been too high for baseball tournaments and other personal travel. Hotel and staff very nice and clean. No problem there. The problem I have is what you pay for. Granted we had a very discounted price because I used basically Hotel.com points. Checked in no problem. Informed that there was a 4.95 parking service fee, no free breakfast we could buy a la carte. Coffee to buy from Starbucks in hotel. Had to work we did have free wifi but we could get enhanced for an additional 4.95. Swiped my card for incidentals (not out of ordinary). Made me wonder if I would be charged if I asked for additional towels or other items. Also, made me concerned whether I would be charged for the coffee in the room. Like I said, nothing wrong with hotel or staff. Very clean and friendly. Would not stay at another Courtyard if this is the common practice of their company. We are talking about Alexandria, Louisiana not a larger city like New Orleans or Dallas. Do better Courtyard…I can get a free meal at other hotels and maybe a cup of coffee with a smiling staff and clean hotel. Also, by the way, checked out at 11:30. Starbucks is closed…

The property hasn’t been kept up. Cabinets scarred up. Vent of air conditioner full of dust. Ring in toilet,shower had some mold. Thankfully there was a good bed and pillows.

One of our double beds was dirty with blood and the shower curtain was dirty on the outside. Also the phone didn’t work and the shower leaked from the faucet. The worst experience I’ve ever experienced in a courtyard by Marriott.

The bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain inner liner was dirty and moldy. Found clumps of hair on our clean towels when unfolded and beds were extremely hard with tiny pillows. Thankfully only stayed one night. Disappointed from other hotels we have stayed in by Courtyard.

Staff was great, faculties were clean and in good condition. Bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept (or attempted to) in. Elevator was incredibly slow and cramped. But I cannot speak more highly of the staff, ALMOST made up for the uncomfortable bed.

Overall, a great hotel. The noise level inside the hotel was quite loud. They said there was bachelor party staying there. I wish the hotel had put them away from other guests instead of in the middle of the hotel.

There was no water pressure in the shower which is a pain when trying to wash out long thick hair. A couple of the room lights did not work and there was no regular coffee in our room. Other than those small issues the hotel and room was clean, staff was efficient and friendly.

Room 221 smelled musty. Staff told me the musty smell was from a cleaning product they use. I'm not sure why a person in charge would purchase a cleaning product that stinks. It was a turn off and made the room seem dirty. I won't stay at this location again.

One of the best experiences that I have ever had at a hotel. The girl that checked us in and out was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful. Also, the girl that took our order for breakfast was really sweet and nice. She took good care of us - it's been a while since I've seen good service like that. If we ever make a trip back to Alexandria, we will for sure be staying here again.

I made my reservation the night before and it was confirmed. When i got to the hotel at 9:30pm they didn't have a room for me! They confirmed that i did have the reservation, they overbooked! I don't know if this was Marriott or Expedia. Im grateful the gentleman at the front desk found me another hotel to stay at.

The staff member that left the last night that was there cause she said, "she is tired of this s**t", cursed out our baseball team, parents and coaches for doing absolutely nothing. Luckily they had a person that worked there that was there to help out. Robert was the only person that took care of the issues we were having.

Customer service was excellent. Close to the hospitaly mom was at. Close to mall, walmart, several restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Whatever you needed is definitely within close proximity. My only issue was the cleanliness of the sofa and chase. I think that those should be cleaned often but most hotels neglect that fact. But would definitely recommend to stay.

Alexandria is like the armpit of Louisiana. If I didnt have an elderly grandmother in Pineville I would avoid this place like the plague. The room smelled like mildew with a hint of some air freshner. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off. The vanity light did not work. The shower walls were dirty and the soap dispensers empty. Staff was pretty friendly and check in and out was a breeze. When I go back I will stay at the town2suite by marriot across the street.

The outside landscaping, along with the rest of city really needs major maintenance & the inside esp elevator carpet could really use TLC. The shower walls in room was yellow dyed, which was ick. The Amenities & customer service was excellent though. Young black guy at front desk was so nice and friendly.

The place was our stop for the night before continuing our trip. The hotel was good and the staff very responsive. The bar has a very limited menu as far as food goes. The location was not very pretty. There is lots of construction nearby.

Tried to check in prior to arriving through the app but it would not work. Also on the morning of departure,there was no breakfast,which was supposed to be included with the room.Front desk stated that the cook was pregnant & wasn’t feeling it today so she didn’t come . Therefore we had to go eat elsewhere…also had to ask for more towels,only 2 were in the room

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We do plan on utilizing this location going forward when we visit our family in that area. We really appreciated the fact that housekeeping reset our hotel room every single day and provided us with fresh towels every day. We also really appreciated the luxe options for breakfast although we did not take advantage, knowing that it was able to be provided made us feel more at home.

Check In and out was smoothly completed by the very friendliest people! Disappointed that the Bistro was out of a lot of choices for dining but hey that means they were busy! Should we have to go back we will definitely stay there!
