Very old motel but has an awesome bar called Desperados! This was 4th stay here. I only stay here because of the bar and the people who go there! Highly recommended!!!

It took the housekeeper to clean for ever I ask how long she said 30 minutes and it was 2 hours bed is uncomfortable the pool only has 1 lounge chair and it was broken

It is an oder property but the room was OK, I like the large refrigerator and freezer-lot of upper scale motels could do with this. Shower only, no tub, oddly no toilet paper holder. Good for a one night stay, a lot of other people staying there seemed to be workers doing construction or lawn jobs. One downer was lawn work on the property started before 7 a.m. making it difficult to sleep in. Mile's Grill a restaurant in front of the hotel offered a very tasty affordable and fast breakfast.

It was clean, we could walk to the downtown for the event. Easy parking, the walk up to our room was a little inconvenient since there was only one stairway and it was not near our room.

Worst place to stay. The room was dirty, furniture was dirty. When I asked to change rooms I was told they had a full house. I just so happen to walk past a few rooms that was empty and still couldn’t change my room. I woke up in the middle of the night and there was a roach on my bed. When I asked for extra towels for my room I was informed after 3 PM they cannot give you anything. The pool was filled with bugs ( even after they cleaned it). I would never stay here again. The only thing that was missing was bedbugs which I sure a few rooms had them.

This property was extremely noisy.Every single night I was there, there were roaches everywhere, and I mean, palmetto, bugs the big ones! The staff was very friendly, but yeah, the roach problem.And the noise from other tenants was completely out of control.

I will never stay there again. Upon arrival in my room there was a smashed roach on the wall. The floor was poorly mopped and the baseboards were filthy. The AC unit barely blew and was nasty and hadn't been cleaned. There was slimey goo inside of it. The microwave was almost completely rusted out inside of it and was not usable. The bed frame was metal and came up to my knees and I'm 5'4 and was to big for bed mattress and I banged my knee several times. And there was baby roaches coming from under the fridge. I left the hotel and went back to my house to stay because of all this.

The whole experience was horrible, the sheets had stains, there were bugs in the bed, found 3 cockroaches, the towels were dirty, there was hair in the sink, I complained to the staff and they said “sorry there is nothing we can do until the manager comes in at 9:00am next morning

My husband and I needed a getaway for the weekend. Its a very cute place, calm and pretty quiet. Staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. I made a review regarding seeing (and killing) a roach, and the next day they were treating the rooms and grounds!! We are already making plans to bring the kids and have a family getaway as well!!

Finding the office took some effort Felt and look sketchy driving through there is a restaurant right in front that's nice and has good food. The beds are hard and uncomfortable Room looks nice has a sliding door on the bathroom there is no tub just a shower that the curtain touches you when you try to take a shower it is clean There is a bar a little right outside the door wasn't too bad quite a wise but there was so much light you definitely don't get a dark room to sleep in a conditioner does work if you're going to use the fridge make sure you turn the temperature down because when it set to one it does not keep your food cold for the cost of $108 I probably would not stay here again wasn't worth the money Convenient to where I was going but that's about it

This hotel was within reasonably close distance to the Lakeland Linder airport where the annual Sun-n-Fun convention is held, which I was attending. The room was remarkably clean relative to what I was expecting for the price and the interior had obviously been refurbished not too long ago. The clientele is a little loud and there seemed to be a lot of traveling work crews staying there, so it was not a family-vacation type of crowd.

The room was very clean and all accommodations were great! The only two remarks I could say negative are the outside noise is very loud and the beds are horrible. The beds are on a metal square base and every time you roll over or get in and out of bed, it sounds like a you’re beating in a metal drum.

Everything was great. I’ve stayed here many times when I come into town. Only thing I don’t like is the barn doors on the bathrooms that do not close all the way. Barn doors makes any home style place look cheap to me. Barn doors belong in barns, not in homes or hotels.

The staff was amazing and prompt when getting extras(towels,pillow,etc). They had a power outage(not their fault) It was cold and the heater did not seemed to be pushing out enough heat, but it was manageble

I checked in late through hole in a glass window The light switch at the door of the room did not work I made reservations for a king bed but was given two twin beds instead One of the beds had rust stains on the sheet Both beds were hard as rocks The room had a musty odor to it The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling Throughout the night conversations could be heard outside my room

The room was cute, but the service at the property was horrible. I get there to check in and they charged a $50 deposit, nothing was ever mentioned that there would be additional charges at the property. Then the next day house keeping went into the room, moved around my stuff, took the bed lines and didn’t replace any of them. They left us a bare mattress to sleep on. I immediately checked out. After all this, I didn’t feel comfortable staying at this property

Unexpected $50 security deposit. Man claimed he wasn't going to charge me for the security deposit after taking my card, then bank showed he did. After the first night in the hotel when we showered found out the shower drain was clogged (only shower without much of a lipped edge, no tub part) and drained very slowly causing water to back up. Switching rooms with a toddler isnt easy and I drove 24 hours for this short trip with her to have to change rooms so we dealt with it. I left my room clean and took out my own trash. They still kept my $50 deposit for a "cleaning fee".

Property was under construction which would have been fine but they placed us in a room where all the workers were housed. They stood right outside our room until 3am drinking, smoking, talking loudly and playing music. I called the front desk at 1 am about it and they said they would take care of it. The music stopped but that was it. The beds are rock hard. The air conditioner was very loud but it did help in drowning out some of the partying going on outside our room. And then at 10am housekeeping is banging on the door asking if we are checking out yet. Check out is at 11am. When I checked out I told the front desk lady about our terrible stay and she said with a smile, “I know, the guy that checked out before you said the same thing.” They definitely do not respect or care about their guests. I do not recommend staying there.

I chose this hotel for the location to an event. The staff was very nice, the beds and bathroom were clean; the beds are a firm mattress on a metal frame that makes noise with every move. I'm glad I had my own towels because bath towels are child size. For price and location I would stay again.

The check in was done through a mail slot. I guess they don’t want anyone in the lobby after a certain time for security reasons. Not the nicest area? Room was clean and inexpensive.

Suite was limited, it was comfortable - we didn't want to spend anytime in there. Our suite was the back corner of the building, we were kept awake all three nights of our stay due to early trash/recycling pick up and rowdy guests drinking outside. Our suite toilet did not work, we called the front desk twice and they sent someone down to repair but the issue kept occurring. The lobby didn't even have a bathroom for us to utilize in the morning when ours wasn't working. Location was good, close to many restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful but the conditions were just too unfortunate for us to stay here again.

We evacuated here during Helene .it was one of the only places with vacancy and affordable rates. For the price we paid it shocked us it was super clean. Very basic I’d suggest bringing extra blankets and pillows and towels but all were present and clean. The air conditioning was awesome! The restaurant on site was delicious and affordable. Overall for our situation it worked out. We rented two double bed rooms. Beds were stiff with two pillows on each and thin quilts each room had a desk chair fridge/ freezer combo that was decent sized. And several tables to place things. Bathroom was big and decent water pressure. The front staff worker was AMAZING! I asked for an extra blanket and had it within minutes he made our check in simple and check out was fast also. Didn’t get to check the pool out but overall it was worth the money
