This is a very nice stand alone unit that is an easy walk to town and some local trails. The unit is well laid out with pleny of plates and utensils for use in the kitchenette.

Was a spacious place with more than enough room. Kitchen had all we needed and bathroom updated and clean. But the furnishings (sofa and chairs) were old and fixed with patches. Outdoor area featured on the website had rusted chairs and was not clean. I think places do their best, but a little investment here would be good. And don't feature a space in your photos which is not really useable and present it as a plus for the property ...

Not much for dining. They close way before they say. The rooms are fantastic though. I suggest picking up food to cook in the room that has a grocery store before heading into the pass.

Staff were friendly, room was clean and they were fine with us arriving late. There's a cool walk 2 minutes away to an old tunnel with glow worms inside.

Cottage masks the true nature of this property. Its a small portacabin. Sure it's got sliding patio doors and a bathroom but it's still a portacabic. As a result its hard to control the temperature. It feels damp even in March and the bathroom, even after only one night and two showers smelled damp. Also the WiFi is poor to non- existant.

This property was in such a beautiful setting! It felt like a bit of a jungle oasis even though it was so walkable to the town; and the little patio was perfect to sit on and listen to the birds while having our morning tea/coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and well laid out. We’d recommend this property!

Nice cottage. Big negative is the high heat in the room during summer, since there is no AC, an electric fan should have been provided. Keeping windows open takes a long time to cool the room.

I stayed in the cottages in 2016 when they had just opened & thought they were fab little units then. They still are, well kept & comfortable for a short stay. 2 adult's 2 nights cottage no 10 parking right outside this unit which is from the layout disabled friendly. Weather was awful during our stay which stopped us going out as much as we would have if it was sunny. Short walk to goid restaurants. We were really in Franz Josef to go to glaciers, which we couldn't do till the morning we were leaving due to the weather. TV reception is poor in unit and channels limited.

We loved the self contained cottage which was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was the best of our travels having a proper vanity with a big drawer for toilet bags etc. Would certainly recommend.

18時を過ぎての予約だったが、問題なく対応してくれた。受付フロントの場所が微妙に離れているので、コテージ外にある看板に従う。(直ぐそばにある) 一棟毎に独立したコテージ。結構広い。基本的なものは全て揃っている。牛乳はなかった。部屋からは山梨峰々がはっきり見え、夜は星空が美しい。朝はケアが屋根を歩く音で目覚めたら。5.6羽は訪れていた。コテージ前は砂利なので、バイクだとかなり駐車しずらい。敷地もそこまで広く無いので、考えて駐車する必要がある。

Das Hotel 10 Cottages in Franz Josef ist ruhig gelegen mit schönem Blick von der Anlage auf die umliegenden Berge. Das Zimmer (Cottage) war ausreichend groß. Die Betten waren okay, das Bad allerdings recht einfach. Es gab ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Die Freundlichkeit im Hotel war einwandfrei.

Nice location, and good to sit out on the veranda in the evening with a beer and look at the mountains. Close to a lovely walk in the rainforest upto Tatare Tunnel. Close to restaurants only a couple of minutes walk.
