I spent two relaxing nights midweek in August, enjoying the setting, pool, staff and guests. My dog cost extra but that’s understandable and he was welcomed by all but the resident cat, who rightly held her own. I would definitely visit again.

Lovely place. Very clean and close to town. Very friendly staff! If your a sun lover the pool loses sun early, like 430, because of the beautiful trees. Pool is great between 11am and 4pm.

Nice little cottages tucked behind the main road. Nice fire oit and smores making ingredients at night. My little dog loved the pet area to sniff around and explore. Would love to come back in the summertime. Walking distance to Stumptown Brewing a bonus!

Only stayed for one night, wish I could have more time, cute little cottages with everything you need, clean and comfy, parking right in front of the property, downtown is a short drive, (Safeway and restaurants) at night you can sit in front of the fire pit, enjoy the night and have some s'more's with your friends or neighbors definitely will come back soon!

It got a bit noisy with people talking outside and the sound of cars on the road next to the hotel. Windows were not properly installed as you could see gaps around it and it allows all the outside noise in. The hotel had decent breakfast and an overall beautiful atmosphere. Very good value.

Stayed in cabin 2 arrived with our service dog we were made very welcome front desk was friendly explained everything regarding the property and ideas on places to eat dinner. They light the fire pit at night and put out ingredients for s’mores. Breakfast was good lots of choices my husband enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, coffee was good also. Our cabin was spotless the bed comfy and the grounds were pretty. We loved our stay and will return one of these days.

The room was infested with sewer flies, the bed had busted springs, the bathroom was so dark it was difficult to shower and shave, there was black mold in the window and the neighbors were so loud and it seemed like they were rearranging the place all night. To the point my whole room was shaking.

The falling leaves, lit up garden and walkways made this property beautiful! Our cabin was comfortable and clean. Like really clean! There was not a single hair in the shower (something that personally grosses me out); and we accidentally dropped something that rolled behind a piece of furniture. Moved the piece to grab the item, there was no dust on the floor behind it! The bed was more firm than we like, but that is totally a personal preference. But overall the cabin was comfortable and cozy. As with most places, breakfast was meger, but at least enough to get you started in the morning before eating later at the coast, and it was layed out and presented nicely. We will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed staying here. It's cute, quaint, and the service is very nice. For continental breakfast, it was very good! We had a studio bedroom, which was small but beautiful, it worked for us. The things to keep in mind would be that the walls were pretty thin and the bed was very hard.

Overall, the place was lovely and I’d stay there again. However, the toilet in my room was not seated properly and wobbled quite a bit. The other frustrating thing was the hot water in the bathroom sink was only a trickle. The shower was fine, but there was very little hot water coming out of the sink. If the bed was smaller, there would be room to put a chair which would be appreciated.

Check in was a little funky because there was a sign on the door saying to call for assistance and no one in the lobby. I called 2 or 3 times and no one answered. I went back to my car for a few minutes and went back and saw that someone was back at the desk checking someone in. Other than that the staff were friendly and the room and grounds are clean. It’s a quaint little group of cottages which I like the feel of more so than a large hotel. The fire at night was a nice touch with fixings set out to make s’mores. Breakfast in the morning was good too! Bagels, English muffins, muffins, oatmeal in a crock pot with mix ins on the side, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and an assortment of tea. I was bummed that I got to breakfast during the last half hour because I missed out on breakfast sandwiches. But I still got my protein via the hard boiled egg. There is a cute orange cat that lives on the property and it has its own little cottage which is super adorable! My only complaint is that the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom were really low. My husband smacked his hand hard on the ceiling when he was taking his shirt off and he’s less than 6’ tall. Not sure if it was just our cottage or if other also have low ceilings. I’m only 5’2” and can reach up and touch some parts of the bathroom ceiling because it’s sloped.

For a trip to visit wineries or see the redwoods, this place is perfect. It's an unassuming collection of buildings just off the road. Most cottages are shared buildings with two units per structure. The design allows for privacy, but we could hear our neighbors as they came and went from the unit next door (more than we would have in a traditional hotel). This was our first trip to Guerneville and we highly recommend that as a centrally located place to stay, with the Cottages as a good option in that town.

The bed in #2 needs a new mattress. Also the lighting could use dimmer switches - Way too bright in the room. And the TV needs a tuneup - the cable kept glitching, either freezing or disconnecting.

We have stayed at the Cottages before. The breakfast was outstanding. The bed, not at all comfortable. The rest of the room was fine. On our previous stay, we were in a larger cottage and had no problems with the mattress. Surprised that there was no housekeeping if you stayed more than a couple of nights. We were able to get what we needed from the office. Staff was very pleasant. Location, for us, was excellent. River Road is very busy and cars travel fast through the area. Sometimes hard to pull out onto the roadway.

The room had a couple of hiccups when we first got there the toilet wouldn’t flush and we couldn’t find the remote for the TV. But the minute we called the front desk Help arrived immediately and they were very accommodating, friendly, professional, and got the job done quick.

Our stay at the cottages on river road was amazing!! Any other small place we stay at is going to have to live up to this. The area was gorgeous, the staff was so nice, and the rooms were cute. I still crave the complementary breakfast. We ended up extending our stay cause we were having so much fun. Shout out to Deanne as she gave great recommendations!!

It’s a quaint little group of cottages which I like the feel of more so than a large hotel. The fire at night was a nice touch with fixings set out to make s’mores. Breakfast in the morning was good too! Bagels, English muffins, muffins, oatmeal in a crock pot with mix ins on the side, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and an assortment of tea. I was bummed that I got to breakfast during the last half hour because I missed out on breakfast sandwiches. But I still got my protein via the hard boiled egg. There is a cute orange cat that lives on the property and it has its own little cottage which is super adorable! My only complaint is that the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom were really low. My husband smacked his hand hard on the ceiling when he was taking his shirt off and he’s less than 6’ tall. Not sure if it was just our cottage or if other also have low ceilings. I’m only 5’2” and can reach up and touch some parts of the bathroom ceiling because it’s sloped.

Great place, friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations with a nice breakfast. Pool is wonderful during the summer months. There are 2 great places to eat across the street right by the river-Farmhand & Stumptown brewery-very convenient. Also convenient to Armstrong Woods. Will be back!

The vibe of this location and the property itself are serene! The grounds are full of gardens and a large grassy 'courtyard'. They provide smores while enjoying a cozy firepit with other travelers. We had a very nice stay in a little cottage under a redwood tree. Fantastic breakfast. Good dinner at Saucy Mama’s on the other side of town. Guerneville itself isn’t much to see but it’s a short drive to Armstrong Redwoods, the coast, and wineries.

A wonderful oasis to stay when on the Russian River. Short walk to a fun brewery/restaurant & short drive to downtown Guerneville. Easy drive out to the coast from this location as well. Easy check in. Gated property. Would definitely come back.

I would definetely leave review on this beautiful place that we got at Guernerville. The staffs have exceeded guest expectations they make all easy for customers just like us, the hotel amenities is beyond the basic room it was very clean room, bathroom are so neat and very comfortable bed. The hotel has also offering with free breakfast lots of food to choose from. We really enjoy it. Overall, it's awesome, we got positive experience from staff, the hotel was superb.

Nice separate cabin rooms with heat pumps. Property has a nice fire pit patio area with smoors fixings. Continental breakfast is at 830 so a bit late if traveling early. Would be hrlpful to have a usb charging station and clock. Town is just up the road and really friendly with a great history.

Very cozy studio with mini fridge and Keurig. Small bath ti match but mattress and pillows were not very comfortable (a bit worn out?). Very nice grounds with fire pit, chairs and s'mores provided most nights. Breakfast offered too late at 8:30am. Reception friendly and patient when reservation NOT found initially (Expedia mistake).

I really enjoyed my stay here and I will come again. Cathy and Deanne were very helpful and pleasant. Charlie made great fires in the fire pit each night and monitored the s’more supplies to make sure we had plenty. My room had a coffee maker with plenty of coffee and tea selections. They had coffee in the lobby too. They provided a generous breakfast: Slow cooked oatmeal with all the additions, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, muffins and English muffins with all the condiments. Coffee and juice. I probably forgot something… I was impressed! There are restaurants about a mile away, As well as a nice Safeway. Main Street bistro in Guerneville had good food, great service and fun live music. It is fairly close to the coast and about 25-35 minutes to the coast and much less expensive. Duncan Mills Oscara good place with fun shops to check when going to the coast too! I’ll be back!

Check in was a little funky because there was a sign on the door saying to call for assistance and no one in the lobby. I called 2 or 3 times and no one answered. I went back to my car for a few minutes and went back and saw that someone was back at the desk checking someone in. Other than that the staff were friendly and the room and grounds are clean.
